When we made contact with Jonnie in the office, she was pleasant, friendly and thorough. Damian our Project Manager was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. We also received a very fast and detailed price quote and once the project began, Damian visited to check its progress and stayed in touch throughout. The team consisting of Mario and Rudy arrived within the estimated time for the materials supply to be delivered and we couldn't believe the amount of work they were able to do on a daily basis. They worked tirelessly and with great detail to to every aspect of our wooden fence installation. They were considerate to the fact that we had dogs and made sure to revolve the job around maintaining a perimeter for the animals security. Fesco did not honor our warranty…read more Fesco fenced our yard last summer. The fence was sturdy and good quality but not what we had expected based on their photo gallery and our discussions. Our project manager, David, did try to make it right, but he was only able to offer minimal changes. We decided to leave it as is. Four months later, the gate lock broke. David sent someone to fix it, but it broke again soon after, and then David left the company. Since then we haven't been able to get anyone to come out and even look at it. We did a temporary DIY fix for a while (literally twist ties) and then made another push for them to fix it. They've been giving us the run around for 8 weeks, saying they'll call me back, they'll pass along my message, they're not going to be in Westchester for a while, etc. We need the lock fixed for the safety of our dog, so we will have to pay another company to deal with it. We chose Fesco despite their prices being much higher than others (nearly 15k for mostly wire fence on a small property) because we thought we'd be in good hands. I regret hiring Fesco.

I then contacted Bilt Well (Monroe NY) as I pass them daily in my travels. A small unassuming office with fences around the building. I called and Lou came by and chatted with me about the fence, what I wanted and realistically what I could have. He gave me an estimate for the work then left. Life got in the way, fence was put on hold. This Spring 2025 the fence was top of the list. I had the property surveyed (as suggested), then called back to Bilt Well. They remembered me, Lou came out and we chatted a bit about the fence, height, length, purpose etc. Got a permit, put down my deposit, Bilt Well ordered the supplies, two weeks later, they said 7.30AM. And! 7.30AM it was (perfect). The guys installed the fence in ONE DAY (outstanding). No issues except for me asking a pleather of questions as they worked. They were patient answered all questioned clearly (customer service). I realized while they were installing the fence that it is a LOT of WORK! There were some rocks, then there were some boulders! Bushes Trees! They sailed through it all (professionals). The fence was completed around noonish, they cleaned up (neat and organized) and wished me well. They are courteous, professional, warm and engaging, honest all those things you want in a contractor and hope for. The fence looks like it has always been there PRICELESS!
