During the final walkaround/payment visit, we advised we had picked up hundreds of nails around our property and dozens in the street, and we were told the neighbors "can send me the bill." We were also told someone would return with a magnet for another sweep, but that did not happen. We also pointed out damage to our newer fence and were told it would be repaired, but no one returned. In 2025, we experienced a leak that caused interior water damage requiring professional water mitigation. We attempted to resolve the matter directly, but reimbursement was refused. We ultimately filed a small claims case in Hood County, Texas. On December 9, 2025, the Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 ruled in our favor for remediation costs and court costs. A+ Roofing's website highlights "Honesty" and "Integrity," including: "You can expect honesty in all that we do," and "We stand by our word..." Based on our experience, we did not receive the level of follow-through those statements imply. As payment was not received within the voluntary period, an Abstract of Judgment was filed in Hood County on January 13, 2026 (Document No. 2026-0000520).
