They didn't just repot the plants, they explained every step of the process, from the soil mix they selected to how often I should water going forward. I really appreciated that they took the time to educate me rather than just doing the job and sending me on my way. You can tell they genuinely care about plant health and customer experience. The store itself is such a vibe - well-organized, clean, and full of beautiful greenery, planters, gardening tools, and décor. It's one of those places you walk into intending to fix one issue and suddenly you're considering starting a full garden. There's a great balance of options for both beginners and serious gardeners. I hadn't started anything and sure as hell didn't give it just 3 stars! That being said, let us begin! Downtown Burlington! What a very unique, wonderful little area. Full of restaurants, name brand stores, bars, quaint little shops like this one, a wide open area lined with stores that gives off very Ithaca Commons vibes. The Commons back in the day were the shiiiiiiiit! Sadly nowadays...it's too commercialized. Burlington, VT tho...not so much. Sure they have a Patagonia store and some other bougie ass stores, but it still has that super chill vibe which made me happy. One bad thing...LOTS of homeless! LOTS! I get they are homeless, but wow! For a tiny city like Burlington...it's kinda mind blowing how many homeless they have all over the downtown area. Does that take away some of the magic that is..Burlington? Sure! Maybe a little! Then you come across adorable little stores like Home & Garden Vermont. What a (and I never use this word .. like ever lol but..) what a charming little store. Little bit of everything in there. It's the type of store that tourists absolutely love. Even the high prices don't seem to phase most tourists...then there is me haha! I'm cheap af. So appreciating these types of stores is more my cup of tea lol. Although, I came close to buying a few things in these little stores. My brother and I would see something and be like "let's check the others to see if the prices are any cheaper" They. were, not. Haha! If you saw a very cool Stowe or Burlington t-shirt in one store for $33 ... best beweave..it's $33 in the next one. These stores make their money regardless of cheap fks like myself...and I'm glad they do, Stores like Home & Garden Vermont add so much of that amazing magic that is felt throughout the downtown area. The staff is beyond sweet. Very nice lady helped us when we were there. Very bubbly, smiley, just an incredibly nice human. I did go up to her tho and told her that her store gave off Schitts Creek vibes. Yall remember, Rose Apothecary?? For some reason, parts of this store very much made me think of Patrick and David in their little Schitts Creek shop haha. The employee laughed and she said "all we need is David and we'd be set" haha! Rose Apothecary, now that I think of it...a lot of the stores around downtown are quaint like that. However, Home & Garden, I actually felt like it was like..a sister store of Rose Apothecary haha! I loved when David and Patrick opened that store in that series. I love love stores like that. So it was kind of special to walk in to this store and immediately feel that. Even my brother agreed. So I know I'm not like crazy haha. Store is very nice. Nicely laid out. They pay close attention to details in Home & Garden Vermont. They know exactly where to place everything for maximum exposure. Their front windows are even very homey to look at for the "window shoppers" What a great little shop. This was my first time ever in Vermont. I grew up in upstate New York, too! I know this will not be my first and last time in Vermont. Autumn on the east coast is something that is like no other. As a photographer, VT is like a dream come true during Autumn. Point of me saying that is...I know I will be back and I look forward to going to this little store again and all the others around the downtown area. Seeing as my family is still in upstate NY, yeah, I know I'll be back. Home and Gardrn VT...thank you for a very pleasant experience. You certainly will never be forgotten. Burlington HS just outlawed them during the day and I suggest local retailers do the same. Saving precious customer time by asking them right away if they can help is not a throwback to another time, it's good customer service. The place is huge! It is pretty well organized. There is furniture throughout. There is a section for bathtubs---beautiful old clawfoot bathtubs. Oh yes, there is a section of just clawfeet too! There are tons of old doors, windows, reclaimed wood, cabinets, hardware, and so much more. I could spend hours in that place. And don't worry, I will. It was pretty cold in there today and my partner in crime was being a baby so I had to dillydally and linger less than I wanted to. The prices as marked were highish, but they are probably negotiable. I've got my mind on several pieces so I will update when I go back.

The adjustable base that was ordered had a power cord issue, so Andy brought an upgraded version instead. The delivery went smoothly and Just a few days after my visit to the showroom. Andy and his young assistant removed the old mattress and box spring, and also rearranged two dressers to put the bed in my mother's preferred place. They were very professional and kind. In addition, they brought the old bedding back to the facility when someone there asked if they could have it! As if that wasn't good enough service, Andy came back again to adjust how the power cords were plugged in when the remote wasn't working. Quick fix. I highly recommend buying anything from Burlington Bedrooms; you will get awesome customer service and great products. Thank you, Andy!

We had the option to buy what currently available / displayed or do a custom order. however with the supply chain issues and cost, the custom order would have taken 22 weeks + and been more expensive. We were lucky to find one that would have worked for us as there weren't many smaller sheds available. We just happened to live a bit beyond their range but the logistics manager was there and was able to fit us in for delivery towards the end of the week. Pay 50% upfront, 50% at delivery. We sent them pictures of the spot the shed would be situated and on the day of delivery, they put rocks to level and positioned the shed perfectly within 1.5 hours. I was very impressed with the whole process and they even helped us use some of the extra rocks we ordered to even out another spot on our driveway. Very professional and simple process in dealing with the sales folks as well as those who delivered the shed. Although more expensive than the sheds you can get at the big box stores, we are very happy with the worksmanship on the shed and how seamless this whole process was with the company.

Even on the day they were meant to come over to give us an estimate not only did they call to tell us they would be 10 minutes late (much appreciated but honestly I wouldn't have even noticed), after walking around the house, asking some questions on exactly what we wanted to do they were able to come back with a fully detailed and printed estimate on the spot for us to review. We had gotten some quotes from other painters and none were this organized so we knew the job would be done well and efficiently (and it was). They took great care when scraping and making sure to remove ALL the paint chips (it looked like a haz mat site for a few days : ) The entire job (scraping, priming and painting) took less than a week even with a few afternoons of rain. Tyler was extremely helpful in picking out color schemes (who knew there were SO many shades of white?!) and we could not be happier with where we ended up. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
