Teddy. Everyone's friend. Absolutely unhinged. No hands. 10/10

This is THE BEST haunted house in the Bay. Hands down. High quality scares, characters, rooms and staff. The maze was accessible, suspenseful, and well managed. I would HIGHLY recommend doing it twice- once with the flashlight and once without. It takes it to a whole new level of fear and adrenaline.

Captain Jack is the most kindness and humorous of them all... But dare if you will and go inside to see some of the scariest faces and screams. Definitely would come back! Only recommendation is that they actually make it two houses vs combined into one. Note: do not recommend for children! They will be scared.

Got the "immediate admission" tickets, and it came in handy to skip the lines the Saturday before Halloween (yes, there was already a line when they opened at 5pm). But I think the Fast Pass tickets would have been sufficient and better value (if you're arriving closer to opening time). It was fun. We had a single flashlight which was so cheap and dim that it was almost pointless to use. Besides, it's not exactly pitch black in there, so we could see the themed decor and setup just fine... as well as the monsters that creep up on you inside. I like that they didn't just do the typical jump scares... in fact the quieter creatures and characters were sometimes creepier. The sets were decent, not cheap looking, and the costumes and makeup of the actors were pretty good, for both those inside the haunted attraction and others outside scaring attendees waiting in line. I like the thrill of haunted houses, so in our short-lived, somewhat overpriced, excitement of "two haunts" combined into one continuous walk-through, I made sure there was lots of screaming :D

This place was very scary my friend went on to Snapchat and started dancing !!

Well it was very scary my friend Giuly said she had fun and enjoyed it.I really loved this place !!! Coming back soon with family and friends

I loved it! The actors were amazing. I was spooked, but enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you for a great night out.

The experience was okay, what upset me was my partner lost an earring during the jump scares and she reached out to be told they had the earring in hand, because someone was honest and gave it to them. She couldn't pick it up that weekend so I went the next weekend. What happened next was one of most frustrating experiences I ever. They had me wait hours at the mall to tell me that the earring was no longer there. They gave me the runaround for weeks, essentially telling me that the ring was either stolen or lost. No responses from Steve the manager and the person who "accidentally thought they took it home" stopped responding as well. I'd be surprised if we were the only people whose lost items who stolen. If it was a phone it'd be easier to get but half of an earring set? It just boggles my mind. Posted the messages because it was really upsetting. I don't think it's worth filing a police report, but please don't expect human decency from the Managment or people running this event. Purely disgusting to steal from people who are paying 40-50 a head for a 5 minute walkthrough through hard corridors. If you were planning to steal it, or lost it, just own up to it next time please. Don't do this to another couple.

Fear Overload Scream Park Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Fear Overload Scream Park

Is it the scariest haunted house in California?

Worst haunted house I've ever been to. I've been to local ones put on by neighbors for fun that are scarier. Scariest part is the 3 hour line to do the 10 minute walk of shame

How much is it to enter and what else is at the place other than two hunted houses?

The price depends on if you buy a general admission, fast pass, or a immediate entrance ticket. And there is only 1 haunt to walk through, not 2.

What is the latest that they will let you into the park?

Ten minutes before closing is the latest you can buy tickets with cash.

How many in a group can enter?

This year they're starting to limit it to 4 or 5. Anything more and they will split it up.

How long does it take to go through?

We don't let everyone go through at one time we try to space everyone out, on our busier nights (Friday's, Saturday's and Halloween) we can't control how fast or slow people move through our 2 houses but we do our best to give space between groups.

What the age limited ? Want to take my 10 year old Son

I wouldn't recommend anyone under the age of 13 BUT that is at your discretion.

What age do you think this place is appropriate for? I've read anywhere from not under 12 to 15 with is a big difference to me. What do you think?

In my opinion I think anyone 10 and up is good but some 10 year olds can't handle it so it really depends on the child. 12 and up would probably be best though.

We did not enter the trail until 720pm, and that is after getting in line at 640pm. Just be aware. Which is fine, my family had fun and the actors inside are funny and well rehearsed. However, since we waited so long, we got out of the trail around 750pm. My kid wanted to play the carnival games, which close at 8pm, so we bought some tickets to play, and were out to the carnival by 752pm, they had already taken everything down and had only a few simple games still up. My kid was bummed, but I figured since there were no refunds, I could go back and get a snack instead with my tickets. I was denied and told to come back next week to redeem the tickets. I know this is all for a good cause and it really isn't too big of a deal, but it is silly that I literally bought the tickets within a minute and then walked back after the carnival being closed and then denied to even use the tickets on anything else and then told to come back next week. They were told not to sell any tickets since they were closing up the carnival early, but I guess it wasn't communicated well. I guess we will be back to use up the tickets next weekend...?

What a freakin' steal! It includes admission to ALL 6 flags in California, Airzona, and Mexico. My favorite part is that it includes parking too!! I saw the sign when we drove by, parking is $35. We went last Thursday when it was 96 degrees out and we freaking loved it. The park wasnt that busy. I waited only about 10 mins for a roller coaster. Honestly, most of the people were at the water park section, which I dont remember it being that BIG. The water park in the back is HUGE. Lots of water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river. I definitely will be back for the water park sometime this year. The food was meh, but just regular amusement park food I guess. The chicken tasted kind of dry to me tbh. Overall, I had so much fun. Came here after visiting Six Flags Discovery Kingdom the day before with my Six Flags prestige pass…read morewhich allows me to visit any Six Flags park. I have the all season fast pass, all park dining plan, all park drink plan and an all park icee/hot cocoa plan. This place was 2 miles from my hotel. It is in the middle of office buildings near Levi stadium (where the 49er's play). It was an easy entrance at parking, parking was abudant and the amount of busses in the parking lot was low. Got to the entrance had our passes scanned and asked if they use the fast lane site or have a wrist band. They do wrist bands but she had not idea where we get them. Suggested store by entrance. Store near entrance knew what we were talking about and gave us our wrist bands. The park had not opened yet so we were corralled near the double decker carousel. After park open I checked the app to see where to head next and most of the rides were closed (it was a theme for the day). Food options are limited. Kidlet ate at the great american hot dog and snacks place. Got a hot dog, bag of chips with meal plan. They had icees so we went here a few times. I went to the market. Which was a mess. I got the chicken ceaser wrap. You don't pay at the window you have to go to this check out area. They initially had 4 people working, then 3, the one. It took over 20 minutes to get through this and if I had waited my food would have been cold. I ate my fries in line and saved the cold item which had got warm from being held. 2nd meal kidlet got Panda Express. Here they give you a bowl vs knott's which uses a to go container. They also gave her fried rice when she wanted lo mein so they gave her a little to go container of lo mein. My second meal I went to Maggie's smokehouse. It was not busy and I should have left as you could tell the food had been out for a long time and looked dried up. The person at the cash register told me my meal plan had been used but asked a coworker who got it to work. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and potato wedges. Wedges were cold and the spicy chicken sandwich had a spicy sauce and some jalapeños on it. Many food locations not open and icee locations hard to find. Second location we found employee said machine was not working, poured a drink and it looked ok so we got a large drink for our pass (which usually is only a small cup_ We finally got to an area where rides were open so we rode: These are the rides we rode and that are on fast pass: 1. Orbit-we were the only ones on it. A fun ride 2. Flying eagles-exactly like the gliders at knott's, basically a kiddie ride 3. Demon-this ride was rough. Looks old, feels old. Track is dull and paint chipped off, cars look old 4. Drop tower-it was ok. There are higher towers at other parks 5. flight deck-this was closed most of the day but we made it on. The best ride at the park 6. gold striker-was closed most of the day and we rode it when it was open. It was a good ride through the beginning. Got rough at the end. I prefer Ghostrider at Knott's 7. pacific gliders-this is meh. Kidlet loved it and rode a million times 8. patriot-nothing to write home about 9. psycho mouse- not sure how they get away with the name of this. I guess since it is a mouse it is ok? was a smooth ride, the curves are not as jolty as other rides like this 10. rail blazer-this was also closed most of the day. Caught it when opened a fun ride but the harness left a mark my arm and cut kidlet's arm to bleeding. 11. rip roaring rapids-this was like every other water ride like this. you can get SOAKED. I rode once, escaped not too wet. Kidlet rode 5-6 times at end of day, got kicked off due to the park closing. 12. rue le dodge-bumper cars. Kidlet rode a few times 13. grizzly-this was a rough ride. And security was dealing with some kind of fight situation 14. tiki twirl- have never ridden a ride like this before. it was ok. 15. Barney Oldfield's redwood alley-rode once, kidlet rode a million times 16. delta flyer/eagles nest- took to get to the other side of the park On fast pass did not ride: celebration swings. These are basic swings at every amusement park Overall I can see why this park is closing. It is very run down and sad looking. Hardly any shade in the middle of an industrial area. The land is valuable and they are going to put up shopping centers and office space. I do feel sad for the area as they will be left with Six Flags Discovery kingdom as the major amusement park left open (if there are smaller local amusement parks I am not aware of as I am not familiar with this area). Glad I got to go before it closed but now that I have been I don't feel a need to go again.
