My husband, daughter, and myself, have been patients of this practice for at least 25 years. In those years, some things have changed as things do in life... a well regarded doctor retired and a new location for the practice was established. But much of Feasterville Family Practice still remains. The office is beautiful, clean, and well run. Doctor Sabalaske and Doctor Duffy are on top of their game! I took my mom to Dr Sabalesky today for an urgent visit. I spoke with Alexa in the morning and by afternoon we were in the office. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The office is beautiful and the waiting area comfortable with fun decor. The assistant was personable and professional. The doctor was very good about listening to my mom and giving direct next steps for us. I'm very comfortable having my mom in this offices care. read more

After 30 years as a patient at Feasterville family practice Dr. Thomas Sabalske has refused to see my daughter because we moved out of the area for 3 years. Dr. Sabalske told me that my daughter told them she moved and would likely not be back. No she doesn't owe them money. No she never No show no called. She simply didn't find another doctor in the 3 years away. I assume that since she didn't transfer her records their policy is to not allow her to return. As a single mom her priority is her kids. Anyway she is in the hospital with a severe herniated disc and a Chiari malformation that may require surgery. They are hoping to try physical therapy first as I explained to Dr. Sabalske but need to release her to her "family doctor ". I suppose he has so many patients that losing an entire family that has trusted him for 30 years doesn't matter. I guess the lesson is that I don't trust a physician that has so little concern for a patient in distress. I am not in the practice of writing bad reviews or bashing doctors but as a mom I am so disgusted by this unethical behavior I feel the need to explain why I need a new doctor and fast. Dr. Sabalaske is personable, kind, knowledgeable and most of all, he cares about his patients. He listens; he doesn't push meds or tests but is more than willing to do whatever needs to be done to get to the bottom of a problem. He treats us like adults instead of numbers and never talks down to us. He helped my husband and me heal after a head on auto collision last year and showed true compassion. His office is bright, clean, and easily accessible with plenty of parking. All of these things are so rare in the chaos that passes for medicine today that I can't imagine what we'd do if we had to find another PCP. I was motivated to write this review based on one written on 10/31/24. Many if not most doctor's offices have last minute cancellation policies posted online or in their offices. While I don't love that they have them, it's understandable in today's medical climate. Everyone generally has valid reason(s) for cancelling last minute so making exceptions is not as easy (or fair) as it might sound. I'm truly sorry this woman is suffering but this doctor's office deserves better. read more

The present medical system has been destroyed by 15 minute medicine under the control of large hospital corporations. They have bought out physicians, put them on salary and require them to see at least one patient every 15 minutes - demeaning for patients Not this practice - Feasterville Family Practice and specifically Dr Sabalaske has been our doctor for over 13 years - He is an exceptional doctor. He is the epitome of a truly patient-centered family physician within today's broken health care system. He is caring and takes time with each patient -- he listens, examines and really get to know you as a person. He reads voraciously, has exceptional expertise in all areas of medicine, but consults with specialists whenever necessary. I was referred to Dr. Sabalaske by a close friend and former co-worker for manipulation following a terrible accident. My children and I were hit by a drunk driver in November of last year. I am still going through treatment with many physicians in order to get some sort of normalcy back in my daily life. I am not back to work full time and won't be for some time. This paired with the many appointments that come with many copays has put some financial strain on my family and I. I called the office to reschedule my appointment due to having to be at work past the time I was supposed to be there and I was told on top of the already $50 dollar copay I need to pay I will now need to pay a $40 dollar fee for last minute cancellation. For something mind you, that is out of my control. Also, they are now refusing to schedule me for another appointment to help me in my healing process because I am not paying the said fee with the money that I already don't have becauase I am only working part time from the accident that has altered my life as to why I am needing to be seen in the first place. The blatant lack of compassion is disgusting. I know ( healthcare worker myself - nurse at that) that office policies can be overturned. I know that given certain circumstances especially with a patient that does not do this and it is not a pattern, that this can be overlooked once. And I can only hope that if your family or friends are in the same situation you would hope that someone would do the same for them. DO BETTER, BE BETTER. You should be ashamed of yourself. Feasterville family practice has been treating my 90 yr old mother for many years. The majority of those years it has been Dr. Mc Donald. Dr. McDonald has been spot on with his diagnoses through the years. My mother is on approx. 15 different meds. for heart, lungs and other chronic conditions so she is in no way an easy patient. As a her General Practitioner, I feel that Dr. McDonald has helped her the same , in some instances more, than heart and lung specialists. We never feel rushed, very easy to talk too and he really listens. I also think that the entire staff there are very professional, and do a great job. I appreciate Feasterville Family Practice and am thankful for the wonderful care. read more

This practice is TERRIBLE. Dr. McDonald could not see us as a new patient for 2 months, then the callede at work saying they HAD to have my insurance information before our first well visit because it was THEIR policy. Every other doctor I have ever had took info at the time of appointment, not by harassinge me at work when I had none of the information present. This practice cares about themselves and NOT patients. This was to be our first visit....NO THANKS. Their office girls are a bunch of nasty, anti customer service nags. read more

Dr. McDonald became my new family dr. Approximately 9 months ago when my family dr. Of 18 years stopped practicing family medicine. He was aware of the prescription for Lorazepam that I was on for over 8 years. At first, he complied. Then suddenly he refused to fill prescription stating that taking 2 a day 1mg tablets was too much. He insisted I had to Ween off because he refused to prescribe any longer. I suffer from anxiety & panic attacks & have been treated with this medication for many years. He ordered the last prescription for 30 tablets, instead of 90, over 45 days which was was I was receiving. It's impossible to Ween off of meds when there are only 30 tablets, and I'm used to getting 90. I was told by another physician I could suffer a seizure. Clearly, he does not understand the affects of anxiety. He showed no empathy, he was cold & rude & completely unprofessional. I will do everything in my power to warn others about this doctors behavior. It is unacceptable. read more

I have been with my family doctor for years, another doctor also located near feasterville. He was very condescending to me and I dealt with it for years. I'd received a recommendation for Feasterville family practice and finally switched and started seeing Dr. Sabalaske. I clicked with him immediately and was amazed as I never knew I could have such a great relationship with my doctor after being treated poorly for so many years. I've been seeing him for three years now. He really truly cares to make you feel comfortable and takes the time to figure out what the problem is. Even if I'm having a problem and don't need to come in I have left messages for staff and he has personally gotten back to me within the day! The staff there are also amazing and pleasant!
