Bottom line: hire Fed & Full. The food was delicious! But more importantly than that (when trying to plan, host and actually enjoy your event) was that Amy made everything seem effortless. When changes inevitably came up, her response was always "no problem, we can work with that." No back to the food - I can't stop thinking about the lobster rolls. Delicious chunks of lobster on a perfectly toasted buttered bun and the best hint of lemon I've ever tasted. And then the summer caprese - cantaloupe, grilled peaches, cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozz, prosciutto, and fresh pesto... who would have thought to put that all together? Spoiler alert, it's amazing! I'm so thrilled I hired Amy to surprise my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. Amy was excellent in communication before, during, and after the event. Please take note that this is not a review in regards to the her food but in terms of the time it took to respond and customer service We have tried to hire Amy for over 2 months. We started in July to ask for availability for days for a wedding near the end of September. Each time it took over a week for her to respond. While we appreciate that she is really busy, we had tried to hire her for different events in the 10days that we are in Lake Tahoe. One for a 10-15 person brunch on 2 separate occasions, a postwedding brunch for 50 people, a private breakfast/unch and dinner for another for 3days. Unfortunately, each time, not only did it take over 10days for a response but eventually a rejection that another event took precedent. She took so long to respond that we needed to go with another company since we were getting too close to the date without any details. Given the timeframe, we were made to feel that we were not spending enough money or that she was comparing our bid for her services with other bids. We would have loved to give her 5plus stars but can not and we can not believe that she was able to pass up on 2 brunches, a 50 person post wedding brunch and private meals for 3 days. read more

I reserve 5 stars for legendary food experiences (which family style home catering is just not going to reach). She was super nice and took our instructions around vegan, vegetarian and pesco-terian perfectly and without any drama. Most chefs hear you counting off these kind of details and they're like "i'll make a big salad," but not Amy. We hosted a number of clients between 2 large rental homes in Crystal Bay and had a somewhat intricate schedule of moving parts. I needed to find a chef who could prepare multiple meals for our clients and my co-workers, who was as structured, yet flexible, as our schedule. Amy was the perfect choice. Her food is DELICIOUS, her menu is extensive and diverse, and while none of our guests had major dietary restrictions, it was a relief to know that had there been any, Amy could accommodate. I could not have asked for a better chef. It wasn't just about the food. I feel like I had been working with Amy for months, but it was only for 5 days. If I had a question about the surrounding areas, she lent her expertise. If I needed help schlepping things to and from each house, she was there to lend a hand. If we needed to make last minute logistical changes, she went with the flow. And if I needed some friendly conversation, she'd talk to me while preparing our next meal, or while cleaning up the kitchen - Amy was there. She would work at least 14 hours a day, and she never seemed tired! Her positive energy and willingness to help with whatever I needed were second to none. I wanted to have a nice last-minute 10pp dinner party at my suite at the Hyatt at Northstar. I called Amy while I was in line for my lift ticket. I got lucky, she was available. We had a short discussion about entrees and I texted a few things I thought of later while on the chair lifts. The food was AMAZING. She made beautiful salmon with a fancy something blanc sauce. Wild rice pilaf and asparagus, all which we poured the sauce over. She did crudites and a cheese plate, picked out a few bottles of wine. It was mixed adults/kids for dinner and we were all happy. Amy was recommended by a close friend who had heard she was a fabulous chef. She cooked a multi-course meal for us during our visit to Lake Tahoe and it was absolutely perfect! We decided to have Amy develop some menu choices based on a brief conversation about our preferences, and (with great difficulty) we made our selections from the options she provided. From our first interaction, through our "thanks you's" and "goodbyes", Amy was a joy to work with. Though demand for her services was very high during the September 2014 timeframe when we worked with her, she was accessible during the planning process, on-time during the delivery phase, and the food was terrific! As she worked her wonders in the kitchen, she was very personable and fun to chat with if you wanted to chat, or she was discreet and faded into the background if a little quiet time and relaxation were what you wanted before dinner. We selected Amy Lynne from a list of chef's provided to us by the Concierge at the Ritz Carlton. There were 4 of us and we were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. Amy was already booked but offered us one of her chef's, Miranda. We were picking up friends from SFO and heading up to Tahoe for the weekend, with an ETA of 6:00. As luck would have it, a flight was delayed and bag was lost so we didn't arrive in Tahoe until 8:30. My panic set in, as I did the math and realized we wouldn't couldn't get from Vacaville to Tahoe during rush hour in 2 hours. I reached out to Amy several times during the drive to update her on our ever changing ETA. Her responses were always, no worries!
