About 10…read moreyears ago I was part of a state litigation as juror and that case lasted 4 days and was very organized and interesting, great experience for me. The biggest different I saw was that back then nobody could use their phones inside the court room. This time I was very surprised to see most people inside the courtroom using móvil devices and laptops. I don't know if it's because this was a business litigation but on the door it was a HUGE sign saying that phones were not allowed... As the experience today, checking in and passing security was a breeze, getting to the floor pretty fast too, the courtroom was sort of small and the distribution a disaster, only a hand full of chairs available, almost everything was taken by the lawyers of both teams, their laptops, papers, printers, etc. only 3-4 chairs empty and I believe I was the only person from the public present. Another down side was the screens and the position of the juror, from where I was I couldn't see neither, so for the most part I had to imaging what was being presented to the juror. In any case I was happy that my friend won the case and in my opinion the jury got the clear and fair conclusion.

Worked there many years..I remember when they restored the court room used for the Al Capone…read moretrials..it was a beautiful renovation..I hope at least they don't dismantle this room..boy do I got stories..I sometimes went up to the old jails on the top floors and looked around..going up to the courthouse peak was scary but interesting..

Like the song from DJ Khaled, says "I was Born and Raised in the County of Dade"!…read morehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTBbAMGenn0 (I don't believe Yelp intended for this to be a review of a hip-hop anthem or the county in general, but I'm inspired!) The boring truth first: This check in came when I was at the Miami-Dade Government Center in Downtown for business with the county. As far as government buildings, it's a nice one as there are windows around the whole building where the county workers can see all the people they rule :) The A/C is freezing cold (at least the conference room I was at) to my liking. The fact that it's directly connected to the Government Center Metrorail station makes it one of the few work places worth taking the train to. Now for the fun, and my ode to the County: 1. It's one of the few places (for the most part) where you can enjoy Thanksgiving dinner by the pool in your chancletas, and watch the sunrise on the beach for New Years. 2. The prettiest women, where in the warm weather can walk around and show their cute pedicure. 3. The background for so many great movies and TV shows such as Scarface, The Specialist, CSI Miami..shall I continue 4.Home to the world famous South Beach 5. And most importantly, the great city of HIALEAH I'll close with another ode from DJ Khaled, and the reason I give Miami-Dade County 5 stars: "I needs me my Dade County, Big Booty Girl She Pretty" (about 4:05 into the song) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIWhQiWc_A4

The good news: it's free!! That is awesome!…read moreHowever when we went, it was a rainy cold day and the metro over was experiencing delays: so when it's late: you just gotta wait... the whole system delays. Oh well. Then when it arrives it was a squashed sardines situation, but we only used it to go from the frost center to the Omni Center so, we squashed on! lol Under normal circumstances, the cars are well kept, clean and move the people around and it's like a Disney ride! Enjoy

The unreliability makes it completely useless if you actually need to get to work or an appointment on time.Always Late: The promised "every few minutes" schedule is a joke. Expect to wait 10+ minutes on a packed platform just for a single car to roll by.Useless Tech: The digital arrival screens are completely inaccurate. They will say a train is 1 minute away for 15 minutes straight.Constant Outages: It feels like the entire loop is constantly out of service or suffering from technical glitches. The frequent weekend and morning closures for system upgrades have made it entirely dependable on failing. It's an embarrassment to Miami-Dade transit. Skip it unless you have hours of free time to waste standing around a station.

Before I begin this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my…read morepersonal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's begin!. We came to this terminal to board our cruise ship Virgin Voyages. We arrived here early and were able to get our boarding bands before the actual boarding lines went into full service. Unfortunately if you come before your boarding time you will have to stand outside until your time arrives. So I would suggest you come to the port closer to your boarding time so you can avoid standing outside in long lines like we do! You're thank me for that information later when you board a cruise ship at the port!. I would recommend and return here on my next cruise!!!...

On embarkation day, my brother and I've learned that we can come to the terminal and get in line to enter the ship by 09:30. There have been times when we were able to enter the boat by 10:00, but on this day, it took until 10:42, with us waiting in a sitting area after we had checked in. I always love this part of the trip, before the majority of people have entered the ship, and is so uncrowded. On disembarkation day, we confirmed that it is best to leave as early as possible if one can carry their own bags down from their room. This time, we left our room by 06:10, and got in the well defined line soon after. The line started to move at 06:40 (about the 10 minutes after the promised time). It's a bit of a walk through the terminal, having to use one long escalator. Going through immigration required just a picture being taken, and we were out of the terminal by 06:50. Picked up an empower ride share (definitely easier, though not necessarily cheaper than later in the morning) and got to our airport hotel by 07:30. It was a Sunday morning, so traffic was easy once we got away from the port/terminal.
