We entered up a gradual ramp from the southeast edge, instead of the steps at other entrances to the park. The park is a little elevated, so there are nice views across the Patapsco and Inner Harbor, and of Ravens Stadium. You can see a cool 55-foot whirligig / windvane sculpture behind the American Visionary Art Museum. (Jun 2026). There are monuments and at least one informational / historical panel to read. We really liked the playground!

With double the size of fenced in area previously there, there is plenty of room to kick or toss a ball, run around and play in the grass. They have also replaced the small older jungle gym with a huge playground. It has 5 slides, monkey bars, two climbing walls, a rope walk, and various areas to climb and run along. Plenty of room for a dozen or more kids without them running into each other. There are also areas to hide and seek, wheels to turn and little games to play. In all it's a beautiful little park. So why not 5 stars? They've left an odd 4 foot area unfenced. Not sure if they're just waiting for a special gate (the renovation was completed less than 4 weeks ago) or if this is a planned design but it makes it so that you have to watch the littles to make sure they don't dash out the door, so to speak, and right into the road. On a much smaller note, there are no swings, but this is not such a loss as there is so much else to do out there. Great walk, great weather, great park. Come on out and join us!

I think the next-door baseball diamonds and soccer field are connected to the Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle School. At least weekly, we spend a morning or afternoon at the semi-shaded younger-kids' playground. There's a curly slide, a many-featured climber-acrobatic structure, a sea serpent climber set, swings, a seesaw, a spinning saucer-seat, and other stuff i dont quite know names for.

There were several 2/3 yr olds but the kids 10 and older were very wild and knocking them over. There were kids riding bikes on the playground into children. They were old enough to know better and the parents knew better. I saw a boy thrust kick a 4yr lil girl in her back as she was adjusting to get off the bottom of the slide and yelled MOVE to her. Come to find out they were not together. Her Dad was very upset and so dis another Dad see it and was alarmed and said something. I would suggest to go elsewhere with your kids unless you want to box it out with parents or kids. Save the kiddies from being hurt. Its nice but the traffic it brings in isnt a mix.

My daughter loves coming to the playground and frequently asked to go to the new Ravens park as she calls it. The playground has so many fun things for the kids to do. There are also a few pavilions to use for gatherings. There are a few Port A Potty available and full restrooms near the football fields. There is also a walking trail near the pavilions near the baseball fields. There is typically an Ice Cream Truck stationed in the parking lot especially on hot days. Parking is spacious and plentiful. Will definitely return and I love the newly added playground.
