I'm guessing that Lourdes is no longer with FedEx. The last couple of years, packages are back on the front step.... every time I have a package coming from FedEx, I have to contact them with the tracking number, so they can get ahead of it and tell the driver to please leave it at the side door. I've got about 16 case numbers and nothing gets done about anything. This morning two very heavy boxes were left on the front steps that I could not get inside. I had to call a friend who came by during their lunch hour to bring them to my side door so that I could get them inside. I don't understand what's going on with FedEx. Unless I contact them each time I have a delivery coming, the packages get left at the front. They even told me to set it up in my Delivery which I've done already years ago, and somebody at FedEx, who I spoke to through Twitter noted my account that all packages should always be delivered to the side door because of my disability. The drivers just don't care about their customers or maybe FedEx really isn't doing anything about it and just giving me case number of the case number. It doesn't get done... and each time I bring it to their attention they say someone's going to call, then they give me a case number and nobody calls and nothing gets done. Very disappointed in FedEx. UPS always brings everything to the side door after asking them one time. Going forward, I will not be sending packages via FedEx, I have no control of what comes in when I order online, but I will no longer be using or supporting FedEx to ship. I will be using UPS. It's a repeating problem with FedEx that never gets fixed, just empty promises, more case numbers, no phone calls, and no resolution. what a disappointment the Bohemia office is. tired of the lip service. they don't GAF. read more

Matthew especially knew exactly what I needed and directed me to make the most of my flyers which are very important in broadcasting a special event on Fire Island. Thanks to Matthew's help and recommendations, the flyers came out beautifully. Then--- I forgot my wallet and they tried to chase me down to give it back to me! I got back to the FedEx Office a couple of hours later and they had it in safe keeping for me. What a wonderful crew you have working there. I usually go to Staples, but will now only use this FedEx location going forward. You just cannot do everything online. You need professionals to help you out. Went in on a Saturday after the local post office had closed and was greeted by an extremely friendly employee. He easily juggled between walk in customers, phone calls and printing. We were in and out in under 10 minutes, can't ask for anything more. read more

So I took the day off of work to relax. I figured since I'm off I have time to return two heavy packages to Fed Ex since I have wrong model. I yelp Fed Ex place and find one 20 min away from home. Things were going smooth I pulled up into parking lot buts it's other stores so as I'm strolling through looking for Fed Ex. As I'm strolling I hear the sound of a water hose spraying. Then I notice my tire light come on. I guess the package was too heavy or I rode over nail or pot hole but now I have a flat tire. I called GM Motor Assistance who are great by the way. Only $69 for entire year (not monthly). I have two options to put on spare for free or tow to tire spot for free. I figure it's easier to tow since I have so much crap in my trunk plus tire place is literally around corner from home so I get ride there n gotta go anyway to replace tire if they put spare. So on the midst of me arranging for my tire to be taken care of. The Fed Ex Employee Matt took a long heavy box out my back seat and a box out the front seat and took it inside for me. I handed him the packing slips (pre paid) and he taped them onto box. He also wrote code on both boxes and gave me a receipt that it was shipped. I truly appreciate Matt handling the return so smoothly as I multitasked on phone with gm motor since I knew it would take hour for them to arrive. So since Matt was so helpful and I have time since I'm waiting on tow truck I decided to give him the credit that is due. Great customer service could make or break a situation and Matt definitely assisted in a way to put me at ease in a stressful situation on my day off which was supposed to be a quick drop off. Someone said Murphys Law has been on me lately but I'm still blessed I would definitely recommend this Fed Ex office and request service from Matt. read more

My coworker and I Stopped in yesterday to ship 7 large, heavy boxes of equipment back to FL. We were helped by a young man named Pete who was easily the friendliest, most helpful customer service agent I've encountered in a long time!!! He was Fantastic!! And not afraid to work hard. I had all kinds of questions and he just kept firing back the answers. He had our boxes tagged, stacked, and receipt printed in NO Time. I vote for more Petes out there!! I cannot put into words how angry I am at this company. First off i NEVER order through fed ex. I ordered a package from a company who went through fed ex. I've ordered from this company in the past and had similar issues the last time i placed an order. I specifically asked this company not to use fed ex. I placed an order on a Friday, i assumed i would receive the package or so. I was keeping up with this tracking information constantly. It told me it would arrive to my home Wednesday "by the end of the day". Of course fed ex comes Wednesday morning. By the time i even got to my door the dude was down the first flight of steps. keep in mind, i live in a three story apartment complex. I yelled out "hey". The delivery driver made direct eye contact with me and i was bluntly ignored. I called fed ex and asked them if they could bring it to a local facility where i can pick it up. Of course they told me it would take "24 to 48 hours" just to update the information in the system. Which is understandable because they have to deliver other packages besides mine. I go to the local facility to pick up my package that following Thursday . The package required a signature by someone whom is 21+, because the package did contain alcohol. Of course that Wednesday I missed placed my ID because all of the chaos going on. I assumed my mom would be able to scan her ID because in the fine print it says " an adult signature from someone who is 21." The people at the facility refused to scan in her ID. I explained to them that last time my friend went to pick up the package for me and scan their ID in there was no problem. I do not understand why they would not give me the package. I provided them with my tracking number, showed prove that the package was mine, stated my home address and even offered to show them my social. At that point in time they still refuse to give me the package. Later on that day I reached out to the corporation of Fed ex. I requested for my package to be sent back to my home address where anyone can provide their ID to get the package. keep in mind my home address was less than 2 miles away. They told me that they would have to send the package back to the provider whom is in New Jersey and then re-send the package back out. They told me they couldn't help me and there was nothing they could do about. They claimed they already made three attempts to my door, which was not true because I have all the tracking information on my end as well. Moral of the story is fed ex is the worst shipping company ever! Why would they go all the way out of their way to send a package back to Jersey just to send it to my home address when I live less than 2 miles away from the local facility. The people there are extremely unprofessional, their shipping information is not accurate and they Inconvenience a lot of people. (As i see on Instagram and other reviews on yelp). It is extremely unfortunate that they cannot bring me my package of wine because I have a baby shower to attend this evening and now I'm going to have to pay more money out of my pocket for wine that I have should have already received. I've already waited a week for this shipment. Now i have to wait another week for them to send it back to the provider and another week for them to resend it back out. Ridiculous! Tired of getting the runaround by this company, i wish people would do their jobs correctly! read more
