You can get museum passes for locations on LI and NYC. ALL FOR FREE. (provided you register for a card in your local area). Even for a fee there's events your parents can attend, kid events. Or maybe it was it just didn't have a sign? Anyway it's fabulous now. This branch of the Smithtown library has a large kids area and tons of computers for you to use in the center of the library. Everyone that works here has always been super helpful and friendly. They have a lot of activities for the children and I've seen tutoring signs for the teens. I've even donated blood during a blood drive hosted by the library. It's a great place to get some work done if you get too easily distracted in your home (me).

My problem was with the clerk who helped me this morning. I hate to leave a negative review about her, but it is still bothering me. I returned two Amazon packages this morning. No problem with the actual return. In an addition to the clear plastic bags that the products were packaged in, I also had the brown paper bag that the Amazon packages were delivered to me in. There are no garbage pails inside the store so I left the brown paper bag on the counter and said to the clerk, "this is garbage, thank you" and I began walking out of the store. She called me back to the counter to tell me that there are garbage cans located in the shopping plaza outside the store and that I can throw it out there. I said, "Okay. I'm sorry. Thank you." It is not my fault that they don't have garbage pails located inside the store. The more I think about it, the more it bothers me. What is the big deal about throwing away the brown paper bag for me? I thought that was rude. I repeat, there are no garbage pails located inside the store for me to have thrown it away myself.
