I've had to use a stand alone location to return a present and to send computer equipment back to work. Each time it has been a very easy process. The first time I stopped in thinking I could pick up a box or envelope to package the return myself and drop it off in a bin but that's not how it went down. I asked the person at the counter if I needed specific packaging and she said no. If I had my own envelopes or box they would return it. Then we chatted about what might be appropriate sized packaging for a pair of men's jeans. She volunteered the information that printed labels could be sent to them and they would print it off and add it to the package. The second visit was to drop off the return. I had everything together and brought it in. I was asked if I wanted a receipt they accepted it in case there was an issue with the return. Sounded good to me! They scanned the package and handed me a slip. Fortunately the return was delivered and quickly processed by the seller so no need for the confirmation. I had a "tech refresh" at work last month and needed to send back my old laptop. Third visit in three months. Work said to use the box the new laptop arrived in to send back the old one. No problem! I packed everything up. Did I have a return slip or QR code? Um no, but I had the account number. Not a problem! She printed off a label for me after confirming the address, which coincidentally matched the account number address, and slapped it onto the box. The space itself also has a retail store for paper goods but I was all set on those items. read more

Handy. Needed to fax something, so I swung by. They were a little busy, and seemed a bit annoyed by customers. But eventually one guy helped me, and was friendly and patient. Faxes are expensive- send online if possible. But, I was paying for convenience, and it was simple and quick. One stop shop for printing, packages, etc., so I'm sure I will be back someday. read more

I went today in need of help with printing something. I clearly told her I'm very slow with technology. I had to keep asking for help. Another lady came after me. She was asking for help. The lady was responding, but what's the point of responding if we're both telling you, we suck with technology I think common sense would be just walk with us and help us. An order for about $200 worth of cat litter I didn't place was charged to my card and delivered to me. The box came damaged but still intact. I do not keep large boxes laying around and brought it back to this location. Woman refused to ship it without repacking it and them charging me for the privilege. FedEx was responsible for the damaged box and should have offered to place it in another box without charge. This was a worthless 20 minute trip and it's quite frustrating. read more

I've been using this FedEx location for years going all the way back to when it was a Kinko's copy center. It's convenient with lots of free parking and has a variety of printing and shipping options available. The hours used to be a lot wider and longer open, but it is a good option to have available despite the more limited opening times currently available. read more

Young sknny guy didn't want to help me out how to send email from my cell phone files. He said "I have an I phone, I don't know anything about android phone", he walked away. Hmmm. This Kinko's is NOT closed. Well, I guess technically it's a FedEx/Kinkos now, but everything is the same. Anyway. I came here yesterday with a huge project on my hands. I had about 50 tiny pattern pieces from the back of a sewing book to enlarge (at several different percentages). Some of them I could do on the regular copier (up to 400%), but many I needed to scan and print on their giant printer. Well. First of all, this ended up costing about $70. The big printer is charged by the foot, but there wasn't an efficient way to send my pattern pieces through without getting a lot of blank space. Money down the drain. Still, they had the equipment to do my project, so that was good. My major gripe is with the service. It was Sunday night, and there were only two people in the place. I was there for 2.5 hours overall, and I'd say the joint was pretty hoppin'. I think this was the first time I've been in a Kinko's without the project being for work or for a grade. I would imagine Sunday night is a high-stress time for most patrons at Kinkos, so if the staff was overwhelmed (and they seemed to be), perhaps the management should consider adding another person for Sunday nights. The two overworked people who were there were NOT friendly and NOT helpful. It was actually pretty quiet when I first got in there, and neither clerk could really help me get oriented with the big printers. The magnitude and cost of this project was pretty huge-- so I would have appreciated some time or money/saving tips, if any... like how to get the big printer to cut off the sheet sooner. Maybe they had something in the back that would have been more cost effective--- who knows? Maybe there wasn't any other way to complete my task, but the clerks never bothered to help me much. I had to go get them three different times for various technical difficulties. At one point, the big printer wouldn't print out my scans. I went and got the employee (this is the second time I asked for his help) and he came over and told me that the machine hadn't printed in awhile and it was probably warming up. I pointed to the large pile of papers I'd already printed on the floor. Then he told me that the thing I was trying to print must be too big for the printer. Uh, not a chance. He rebooted the machine and ran away. Then, the printer started to grind out a partially printed sheet, but wouldn't cut off. The ink was streaked everywhere. I was kind of afraid to go get the guy again, because he simply wouldn't stay put or listen to what I was saying. Some poor dude with some blueprints came in for some enlargements. I warned my fellow patron to look elsewhere. New Patron goes and gets Mr. Grumpy. Mr. Grumpy tells me again the enlargement I tried to make was too big. WTF? It was clearly not. THE MACHINE HAD CLEARLY MALFUNCTIONED AND JAMMED. Anyway. He starts furiously pulling paper out of the machine (it's on a continuous roll). He's huffing and puffing and pulling it out like the machine ate his kids, and I'm the one who ordered the hit. He pulled out the paper and crumpled it in bunches so that the paper filled up a QUARTER OF THE ENTIRE ROOM. I'm not kidding you! The ink just kept streaking on it, and he kept pulling on it. Customers must pay for this paper by the square foot, and this was hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars' worth of square feet. Why did he keep pulling it out? He kept telling me I tried to print something too long, but the thing I was printing was less than two feet long? Anyway. He just left the paper in the middle of the room like that and stormed away. The irony is that there's a giant sticker on the machine that says "Need help? Just ask!" Har har har. Yeah right. That guy is going to slit my throat if I ask him anything at this point. Ugh, so. None of the service people cared to listen to what I was saying either about the goals for my project or the technical difficulties I was having in order to give advice or solve the problem. Every time I went to get someone, they would just zip in and out as fast as they could, spouting irrelevant or incorrect information. Or they would look like they were about to explode. To be fair, I did get my project finished (2.5 hours and $70 later) using various items of equipment. But it was not with any help from the staff. When I took my large sheets up to the front to ring out, they asked me how many feet there were. Um...? I have no clue? If you want me to pay by the foot, you can measure it, Bub. read more

I'm new to the area, I'm not from an area of 24-hour availability. Trying to ship a package that is expected by Christmas when my work hours overlap the Post Office's business hours was creating one roadblock after another. I know postage can be obtained online these days, scheduled pickups and such also; but this was a situation where I needed to depend on the professionals to do what they do. I passed this location one evening with the package in my possession. I went in and sent it off at 6:30 in the evening without a hitch. The staff was helpful and efficient, and convenience aside, I only paid about $1 less than USPS for comparable service. Very satisfied, I expect I'll see these folks again; even if it means a drive across town. read more

I ab-so-flippin-lutely love this place! It can easily become any student's bff. On several occasions this 24-hour one stop print and ship center has saved me from missing deadlines. If you're like me, and your hours are sporadic and normal business hours do not meet your needs I suggest FedEx Office on Kenny because they're always open. Depending on your needs, FedEx Office can be pretty reasonable and other times it can rob your pockets with a AK47. Faxing can be pretty pricey especially if you're sending several documents. The employee's are friendly but slow to greet you. A little pep in their step wouldn't hurt at all. Other than that, FedEx on Kenny Road can be your life-saver. Especially, when all you need to do is print and the library is closed, your printer malfunctioned, and your friends are sleep and too drunk to let you use theirs. read more

Ask for Tracy! His smile and cheerful disposition make mailing presents to my nieces and nephews a breeze! But I must be honest, sometimes my experiences at this location are less than ideal. The wait time can frequently seem disproportionate to the number of staff available. When I walk in, there are generally 2-4 staff members floating around the entrance, plus a couple at the register, and a few more milling about behind the counter. With so many staff members on hand, I never quite understand why there is usually a wait time. Most of the confusion over where customers should wait in line is on the Office side. Head toward the middle of the store if you want FedEx. While I haven't needed printing or shipping services in the middle of the night, it is worth noting that this location is 24 hours! read more

I & my wife went to FedEx on Kenny Rd Tuesday evenings . We had to fax some documents to California . Some documents were sent to FedEx for signatures . I know very little about fax machines . We were there for quite sometime . Two employees , Shelly & Cori were very helpful and patient with us . I observed how they interacted with other customers while still checking back on my progress . Cori was especially helpful showing me how to master the Fax machine . Shelly had been extremely helpful in dealing with my California connec at the onset . I just wanted to let corporate know that they have , in their employ , 2 fine representatives , Cori & Shelly . Too many times people write to Yelp to vent in a negative way . So I had been stressing out about printing my art project for several weeks; naturally, I procrastinated until the last minute. My project was large scale (11" x 80"), and I didn't want to pay a fortune to print. I called for an estimate, and they were the only ones that would actually answer the phone in the area. When I brought in my project on a thumb drive, we realized it wasn't the correct format. It was a format that none of us knew. They didn't let that phase them. We probably tried 3 or 4 different ways to get it into .pdf format (and they didn't complain). Finally we converted it and they even printed it for me in under 20 minutes! They exceeded my expectations with the speedy printing and friendly service, but then they told me about their student discount! So to review: Great phone service, exceptional staff and problem solving, fast printing, and discounts. I don't see any problems here. I will definitely have all my printing done at this FedEx from now on. read more

Slow and poor service. Staff may not even acknowledge you if you are at their counter. They will make a line wait 10-15 minutes. When they do help, they mumble and won't be courteous. Awful, awful, awful. I have had multiple experiences trying to get things printed here, and more than 75% of the time I either have to stand in line for half an hour or more, or there are no working machines and I just walk out. More than half of the problem - maybe more like almost all of the problem - comes down to management problems, from having just one person working on Saturday a week before Christmas to there being no pens/paper/rubber bands/paperclips/etc. in the self-service area. The employees seem to be trying, but it's just not possible to avoid sometimes catastrophic service failures. The location in Reynoldsburg isn't much better, and there quite a few things (the website, the machines, etc.) that are IT-based that I'm sure are regional if not worldwide problems. I'm talking about fundamental programming and structural issues here, rather than jerks at the front counter. The number of customers I've seen stomping out, throwing their hands up in exasperation, and complaining (loudly) to one another is truly astonishing, and it makes me feel itchy and nervous when I see it (probably because I have a background in retail and these issues really could be solved with a bit of managerial competence.) In any case, I'm heading to Staples to pick up my next print job. Because this place and I are through with one another, and there's a Staples right across the street. (The Staples website also actually works, which is delightful.) read more

Worst customer service experience I've ever had. I came into the location near to their closing time, which I was unaware of, as this location has been a 24-hour location since I started going there around 2010. I made a copy of the document I needed to fax, and as I was placing my items in the fax machine, a very abrasive female employee with dark, long, curly hair, a shining star attitude and no understanding of how to work in a customer service industry, said "um, you do know that we close at 8, ~right~?" I replied that, no I didn't know this. This was at 8:00 on the dot, not as if I had been keeping the employees there for 25 minutes after close. I needed to send one fax in order to try to receive health insurance that I have been trying to get for 3 and a half months now, and the fax is due tomorrow. Glad the ogre at this location got her rocks off by kicking out someone THE MILLISECOND the clock struck 8, because the 1 extra minute that it would have taken the fax to send would have kept her away from the swamp for too long. AWFUL. As someone who has worked retail and guest service for nearly 15 years, you always wait for or assist the last guest in finishing their business or purchase, and you NEVER say "we're closed, leave now." The right thing to do would have been to just let me know their hours have changed and finish the transaction that I was IN THE MIDDLE OF.
