FedEx printing experience was awful. There were no clear directions for how to print from an email instead of a file, and it took over 10 minutes just to print one page. I waited in line twice for help, and instead of actually assisting me, employees just vaguely pointed at a machine and sent me off to figure it out myself. I've used a million Kinkos/FedEx self-service print kiosks and they've always been super simple to use. This one had a really bad UI that wasn't clear. I clicked one of the two main buttons on the landing page and then got trapped on a FedEx landing page. The person behind the counter told me I did it wrong and had to start over. So I did, but ended up in the same exact place because the UI just didn't make any other option clear. When I asked again what the deal was, a second employee "helped" me, but was super rude while doing so. I don't get it. I eventually got what I needed, but I work in typography professionally and they really need to work out their UI. It's nonsensical and not helpful. Beyond that, employees could try being understanding with customers who aren't accustomed to their nonsensical UI. read more

I had to check the reviews for this location because I was there when some drama went down a few days ago and feel the need to clear the record, especially when it involves slander. The complaining fetus (Alie) below sauntered in less than one minute prior to closing (hours on the door) and was told by another member that the location was closed for the night. Instead of taking it as a sign to plan better next time and return, she proceeded to expect to be treated like the princess she thinks she is and had a meltdown over being told how it is, not how she thinks it should be. Next time, look up the times, come in earlier, and if you do happen to come in a little before closing, make your purchases FIRST, BEFORE the registers close, not half an hour later after being at a self-serve station. By then the registers are proved and closed for the night and the Almighty shimself could not reverse this. If the CAPS and terrible spelling & grammar don't tip you off about her character, throwing around the word "racist" (misspelled ofc) about a black Dominican, who handled the situation with aplomb IMO, will. Doesn't help her case that the only other 2 reviews she's posted are complaints - clearly again at not being treated like a queen. In one of her reviews, she admits that the customer service rep told her that she wasn't nice. Shocker. The customer is NOT always right and those days are wayyyyy over. Frankly, all businesses would do so much better when she stops trying to patronize them. Not being coddled does not make one a "rasist". We come here all the time. This morning, we came for the passport photo service. We called ahead of time to confirm the service was available. It was. We arrived and there were no lines. A young man named Neil took care of us. He took the photos and then confirmed it was good. It wasn't so he took the photos again until he was satisfied. Very careful with Self Service drop off of package with pre-paid label. They have almost no personnel and trying to direct you to scan the label of a prepaid return, the tracking number on the receipt given by the machine doesn't match the tracking number from the label attached to the box. I hope the merchant gets the returned merchandise and I get my credit. Usually when using UPS, the moment it gets scanned, the return of my items gets updated. In this case using the self service from FedEx I'll have to track until they receive the returned merchandise if they receive it. FEDEX please fix your technology. There was a long line and that's why I used the self service, I may sound fashioned but next time I'll wait for the attendant. FEDEX hire more people. read more

I was helped right away and I was in and out of the store in about 15 minutes. They wrapped my package for me as well. There were also a bunch of self serve stations as far as copiers and computers. Parking was metered until 7 pm I think. There is free parking on the side streets if you can find an open spot. read more

Huge store and the staff is friendly even though it is fake because, when they close their doors they laugh at the people trying to come inside. I get my posters, flyers and menus done here and they are very helpful and actually attentive and try their best to get everything done. Have been coming to this location for quite a while and despite the negative comments left on yelp by others I had not experience poor service until today! Two staff members present Jannetta and Candyce neither of whom are helpful. Janneta apparently running the show, slow at handling the front desk area she is rude, and obnoxious. As for candyce she is worst, I kindly asked her to "please help" when she was finished doing what she was, only to be met with rolling eyeballs. She then exits for a 15 minute bathroom break at which point the line increases. She returns only to continue to ignore me. The same service that ordinarily takes a few minutes to complete was denied as their "workload" was too heavy. Plastic sleeves and a small mailer that could barely fit anything. Most of the workers here don't really want to do anything and when there's six people standing around behind the counter but a long long of customers that's a problem. I walked in ready to pick up a package that had arrived two days ago, had two people waiting in line in front of me, and waited more than half an hour to be seen. 1. One signature pad is broken, delaying every single person just trying to pick up a package 2. They're severely understaffed 3. Janetta that manager at the store is painfully slow at her job. She couldn't remember a short last name in the time it takes to walk to the room where the packages are. She stares blankly as you tell her your tracking number and doesn't listen to you when she asks you when it came in. Then she tells you your package and name isn't in the system when literally it was confirmed by another staff just yesterday. Service and attitude seemed to be the prevailing reason for such negative reviews and I am not here to say that I disagree. However, given these workers are underpaid and over worked I do give a slight reprieve up to a point regarding behavior when addressing customers. In today's case as I was doing my work paying some attention to the activities around me, I can tell you both young girls were really working hard, multitasking between phones, PC support and counter sales. To be honest, I really felt for them, they seemingly did not have a moment to take a breath. My needs for the day was using AdobePro and scanning to email a document with a few tweaks. FedEx's PC's are running all current software and 45 cents a minute for the Design Option is not that obnoxious a price. I love pens, yet the options were very limited to higher quality mid quality pens, Pilot brand pens were what I was looking for yet they only had the G2 model. However, I scored a great writing pad by Miquelrius (made in Spain) which ran me a mere $4.99. The quality of this product to express your thoughts and ideas on is on the top of my list. read more

Went here very hopeful and ecstatic that I could take a passport photo and also have it sent off without needing to go to the post office. Boy was I disappointed!! The man printed the photos, saw my application for the passport renewal (colored yellow - indicating the person was under 15 the last time it was done, and therefore needs to go to the post office personally) and seeing that I was over 21, convinced me to fill out the form appropriate for adults and therefore messed up my application. My passport was on hold and i had to come into the post office anyways and pay an extra $35 fee to have it resolved. On top of that, he still demanded that I pay for a reprint of the old photo. Someone working here this long should know what forms are required and what the applicant should do - not lead them in the opposite direction! Came to this store location yesterday to drop off a prepaid package. The representative behind the counter refused to take my package because I had used brown tape to tape up my package. I asked for the rulebook, guideline, or a sign saying that I cannot use brown tape. I use brown/tan packing tape from Tuf tape. The representative did not want to read their own rulebook to show me that I could not use brown tape. I read the book myself, it said I couldn't use cellophane, masking, or duct tape. Absolutely the worst FedEx store ever. Customer service was horrible, associates were rude and not helpful what so ever. My first encounter was to pickup a shipment from Walmart from Black Friday and the associate was rude but hey its the holidays and I thought nothing of it. Just a couple of weeks ago I'd thought I'd give them another try instead if going to Westbury to pickup the sd cards I ordered in preparation for a trip. There were two associates I waited patiently with my email confirmation stating my order was ready for pickup at the FedEx store. The male associate ( no name tag displayed ) was helping a customer while the Anna the other associate ( don't know if that was really her name her name tag was flipped inside her sweater) was pushing paper behind the counter. When it was finally my turn I presented my phone to the Anna and she says to my that's not the order number? I'm like okay where can I find the order number she rudely replies you should know you ordered it! I'm like WTF? The male associates gets into it and says we can help you unless u have the FedEx tracking # How's that for customer service. The cell signal is horrible around that location and I asked if I could use one of their computers to look up the Fed Ex tracking # their response was we will have to charge you! At this point I was just so pissed., keeping my cool I asked for a manager and was told he wasn't in. I stepped out to keep me cool and to get the dam FedEx tracking # about 10 mins later I get it on my iphone and you guessed it only one of them are helping customers and I have to wait again. I would give 0 stars if possible. Actually negative stars. Employees working here are completely incompetent. Woman employee (manager) tells me she can't accept a package the way it was packaged. Mind you, I received the package the exact same way from a huge corporation, sent via FedEx. This means that the package was delivered to my doorstep by the FedEx driver in the same way i was trying to return the shipment. It was one of those boxes which had a tight plastic bag wrapped around it. Similar to how Zappos ships items sometimes. The tight fitting plastic bag is used to protect the cardboard from moisture elements to protect the clothes within the cardboard box. The lady goes on to tell me no and was extremely rude. I kept telling her this is how I got the package, and how the driver delivered it to me etc. I asked her if this is a store policy or a general FedEx policy and she couldn't even give me a clear answer. I called FedEx 1800 number and they said that it was completely acceptable and have never heard of a policy like this. I made a mistake going here after reading the negative reviews about this place. It's true, this place is run completely by morons, and I've never had a bad experience with any other FedEx location until here, and I ship/receive a lot of shipments on a regular basis. So after all this I go to UPS (location by my house which I always go to), and they ship the package without any trouble or questions at all. I had gone to FedEx initially because they are a little cheaper, and I wanted to save myself some money. Mistake on my part. I will never be going back to this FedEx location. read more
