If I could give this FedEx location zero stars I would. For one, the parking situation is a total sh*tshow. Good luck finding street parking. The staff themselves are not the friendliest, they all have the same "I'm just here to get paid and dip out" energy. I came to drop off an iPhone that needed to be sent to Apple as a replacement. When I dropped the iPhone off the CSR did not label or tape my package in front of me. But I assumed positive intent that he would do his job and not potentially go through my package. Long story short, I got a message from Apple stating that they received an empty box with no iPhone inside to return. So at some point between me dropping it off and it being in-transit to the return center someone pocketed my iPhone. Thankfully Apple was willing to work with me and the situation was rectified rather quickly but the fact I had to deal with that BS. It already sucks we only have two FedEx Shipping Centers in the Hoboken/Jersey City area. The location at Exchange Place is probably better but the parking is just as bad. Be cautious when dropping off your packages and always ask for a receipt. read more

Service Requested (3/5): The team member was a bit curt initially because the way they asked us to come up was by saying what do you need. However they ended up helping us and getting the service processed. They were initially confused by the label but we were able to figure it out. Good thing I stayed to watch them pack it though because they almost put it in an incorrect container and we had to adjust. Quality (4/5): This store has a nice interior and seems spacious. There is a lot of supplies and equipment available. Value (NA): Processing an item for adjustment so the company doing this adjustment paid for the transaction. read more

I am so surprised by all the negative comments about the service! Has anyone been to the FedEx in Fort Lee or Paramus??? Those are the nasty bunch!! I live in the Fort Lee area and am willing to go to Hoboken to use the FedEx for copies because they are so NICE! My laser printer broke down and I couldn't find anyone to fix it so off to FE, I go! The staff greets you warmly, they ask if you require assistance, they actually provide the assistance, if necessary. Ask them anything about shipping or the printers and they grace you with a smile and an answer. And if they don't know the answer, they'll find it for you. If the line is long, someone will ask "what do you need?" this is all to ensure you make it out quickly. Plus, they got new printers!!! One star taken off because parking is a joke and you waste a ton of time looking for a spot or park in the garage - while it's not really their fault, I pay to park in the garage cause I get tired of the search. read more

First of all customer service in here is TRASH. And I literally only need the minimal amount of customer assistance that one could need. I drive here from two towns over bc this is the only one open near me. I am returning an eBay package, the seller asks that I use the same packaging for return. They sent it to me through DHL but the return was from FedEx. None the less, I walk in an greet the gentleman at the counter who's helping a customer with a "hello good morning" as I walk up. He looks at me, not a smile, and definitely no good morning back, great thanks for nothing . Now I wait my turn, before I even put my package down he says "that's DHL" I said it's FedEx. He said yea but bc of that logo I can't take it" and gives me no other alternatives. Just rejection. Again, thanks for nothing . Someone in the customer service field should have offered me idk a box or another bag even if I had to pay for it instead of bluntly and matter of factly telling me he can't and won't take it. Yes the package is half yellow but you can't see anything really that blatantly says DHL. Will never purchase another label or any supplies from this place again read more

I used to come in probably once a week at least to get things printed and I know it is weird to say but I miss literally miss being so close to THIS FedEx.... Everyone that works here is so friendly and kind and helpful. They always say hi to my pup, offer assistance even if I am at the self checkout printers and make shipping super easy and quick. The shop is clean and organized and never too busy. But, honestly, the real 5 stars just goes how nice the staff is. I've never once gotten anything but a friendly face and helpful hand. I had created a large piece of art work to ship internationally and took it to this location to Ship (the transport of which was difficult because it was large and awkward), only to be told that it "exceeded the size limit for shipping". Surprising considering this is a major FedEx hub. If I am going to use FedEx as a service I would Hope they would be able to have the capacity to ship large packages. I am baffled. read more

If I could leave -10 I would. This is place is HORRIBLE! Customer service is terrible!!! I don't know how people like that can work there and how they were hired. They clearly hate their jobs!! Cero helpful, they yell, treat you as if you were stupid. They have cero manners. I've been to plenty of FedEx offices and the best ones are in LA for sure very knowledgeable, great customer service and very helpful. Here is like they want to do the least as possible and God forbid if you have questions. It's expensive as far as printing goes, but if you want your resumé on some decent paper without having to buy a whole pack of resumé paper yourself, this place does the job. Also the people working here have always been pretty nice, although sometimes they are busy doing work in other parts of the store. I have picked up packages before that somehow did not get delivered to Stevens, so that was interesting... Use their online service to print, and then you can pick it up at the time you specified. Make sure to print black and white if you don't need color as it majorly lowers the price of printing. I had accidentally forgotten I sent a print a month before once and they still had it when I went in for a different print, so that was nice even though I did not really need it. read more

For shipping within the US I find the staff helpful, knowledgeable and efficient, the trick is printing your own label ahead of time at home and completing payment then as well. International shipping is another matter and much more complicated, I usually call the 800 number for guidance. read more

I went in on a Sunday to get something printed on specific paper (that I brought in). There were two workers and one of them helped me put the paper in the printer, etc...it didn't work out because my document was in a weird format when sent to FedEx. The worker fixed it on his computer and printed it for me. But it took awhile, even though there was only one other customer who was being helped by someone else. In the end, it worked out and I got what I needed. Hoping to replace and upgrade my current printer soon. read more

I don't write reviews very often but just felt that l have to warn others. I visited Newport UPS store where l got an excellent service, the clerk was super helpful and attentive. The only reason l went to the Hoboken Fedex was that my Amex didn't go through there. The girl named Zippy at the Fedex was so rude and arrogant - no Hi, thank you bye etc. l had to feel the whole time like she is doing me a favor...ugh, and l was so nice to her. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had a label that said it would expire on the 26th and they told me it expired on the 25th. (actually fedex corporates fault) They were extremely rude and treated me like an inconvenience and offered no help at all. It was 8:30pm and I know they did not feel like dealing with it. They told me very brashly and rude to call customer service. When I asked for a manager they rolled there eyes. Both employees were rude but I only remember Zippy, stay away from these rude people. Judging from other customer reviews I am surprised they still work there treating people so poorly. I would never go here just go to UPS down the street. read more

I always go here to print and I haven't experienced any bad customer service. On the contrary, the staff was friendly and professional.I've been printing files for years (I'm a graphic designer) and I always come in knowing exactly what I want. Unlike other places in the area, FedEx always delivers speedy printing and good quality. I'd definitely recommend this particular FedEx. There might be a little wait time, but that's why they give you an option of self service for printing + work stations. I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about their shipping, although I haven't shipped from this particular location myself. read more

Constantly understaffed. You can watch your ability to ship something same day or next day morning come and go as the single person in duty takes 15+ minutes to process a single order, and the morning truck comes and goes while you stand in line. I went in to drop off packages and the woman behind the counter asked me could she help me . Did I need to purchase labels for my packages? I told her no all the packages are already labeled. She then did not want to take the packages. I had to go to a self check in machine to scan my packages in. The customer service sucks in this place. People don't want to work anymore. When I don't have time to have documents printed at my office, I use Kinkos as a last resort. Be sure to follow up after emailing in any project, as they frequently confirm that they have received my request, then when I go to pick it up, they somehow managed to have lost the entire project, including the initial email. Now, after confirming they received it, I call back again an hour or so later (or whenever they should be printing it), to make sure that they haven't lost the attachments. They often do. Their package shipping costs are also absurd. I mailed a document about the same size and thickness as TIME magazine, to PA, with the slowest method possible. It was over $20. Go to the post office if you have the time. read more

Staff acts like they are doing you a favor. I took in something to ship in a shoe box (I didn't know we couldn't do that). The employee did not offer to help me find a FEDEX box. She just said "You can't ship in shoe boxes". I thought I had offended her by her "don't you know that, stupid" look. I took my goods to UPS. The employee smiled at the shoe box and said they could repack it for a fee. It took less than 5 minutes to finish. I'm closing my FEDEX ground account and opening up UPS. read more

There is nothing more frustrating than showing up early to send something because they say they are open at 7:00am. Showed up at 7:30 but not open. Stayed until after 8:00 and still not open. I really don't care when you open, but don't advertise on the front door that your are open from 7am-10pm M-F when you seemingly have no plans to do so. Scanning is a nightmare, as someone said earlier. You need to pay per minute, so anxiety kicks in the second the timer goes off. Oh sorry, forgot to mention they have 5 giant all-in-one scanner/copiers in the place but all they do it copy and print. Scanning function is disabled. Instead you need to scan 1 page at a time from a flatbed scanner. Booo, terrible customer service. Acceptable if this was 1998, but not 2017. read more

Don't get anything shipped here..apparently the Fed Ex drivers make the Fed Ex stop one of their last and if they get there after they're closed they make a delivery exception and you have to wait a minimum of another day. FedEx Hobo got my out of a bind and I am very appreciative! I waited until the last minute and needed a 18x24 poster printed and mounted on foam board for the next morning. All of the online sites (even Fedex) said that my poster wouldn't be ready until the next evening. I called Fedex and explained my dilemma. Terrible service! I have been to this store too many times because I need to use it for work and they have ruined my day on more than one occasion. The scanning process is a nightmare, you have to pay per minute, but the computer is slow and then takes forever to scan each page 1 by 1 and then the internet takes 10 min to load and send 1 email. I asked for some money back because I was not able to scan and send an email, but the system charged me $15 and the lady said absolutely not. So I had to call Fedex customer service headquarters and have them tell the clerk to refund my money....nightmare. The staff is rude and incompetent. read more
