I was so bummed that I hadn't made it back in time. As I was walking back to my car, the lady who had helped me came out of the business and said "I have your books ready!" They've done such a consistently great job over all these years, it's time for me to give them props on-line and on Yelp! If you own a business, you probably know ALL about U-line. In large part, they sell things to businesses in bulk. But they'll sell to anyone. The best known categories are packing materials, boxes, and totes of every size. They also sell bulk food service products, safety, janitorial, etc., etc., etc. Over the years, U-line has NEVER messed up my orders. They've always been accurate and on time. Occasionally, I'll order some very large items and I get to see an actual U-line box truck and meet an actual U-Line delivery driver employee in person. They've always been very friendly, personable, and helpful. My latest purchase was a bulk order of 200 egg containers for 12 chicken eggs (see photo), just like the ones in the grocery store except with no logo and no design. Was told that they don't allow for cash payments, so that gets them a huge downgrade right there. I asked if there were other options and the gal said, "Well, you can pay by cash or debit." I had explained to her when I asked my initial questions that I don't have those options. Was she not listening? Poor customer service. So since that they don't allow a person to call in and order an item and then walk up and pay cash for it, they've essentially lost any potential future business that would have come from me. I mean, are they in the business of selling things or not? Seems not. U-Line is a fail.
