High in my "first world problems" list is when I have to send a return via FedEx because of this location. Not all their fault- finding parking within a block or two is always a challenge, but you'd think there'd be a loading zone in front of there- but no. Also, heaviest, most awkward doors in the city. Also seems like the majority of the time there's staff around but only one person able to help with packages. It's no secret that I am 10 kinds of horrible at following directions. So, when my old home was due for some updates that required jumping through some serious hurdles with the historical society, I went bananas... Figuring out how to make my printer at home seemed like too much of a challenge and well, to be honest, I would have dropped a stupid amount of money just to have someone else take care of this outdated process (having a historical home is really cute until you want to improve it...). I opted to head to head to the FedEx location off of Monument Circle. They saved the day a few months ago when I wanted to send a sugar cream pie to Des Moines. They were equally as helpful this time and the price didn't burn too bad. My only complaint is that it appears the employees have lead in their shoes. I'll admit I don't know what all goes in to making 30 copies of paper (?) or the scoop on what goes on at FedEx behind-the-scenes, but I'd like to think the process could be a little more efficient. I'll continue to use this location due to it's proximity and the line never seems to be unbearingly long when I'm there. read more

The package was supposed to be delivered January 31st it is now February 9th and the package has yet to leave the station. At this point I'm assuming my package was stolen. The address for this location is confusing if you're coming from the south or the west - the entrance actually isn't on the Circle, it's just to the west of Meridian Street on the north side. You'll see a lot of other business with "120" on them, so just keep going. I almost gave up. I ordered my prints online and the employee who had them was very friendly and picked up the prints quickly. Quality was fine. If I need something to pick up near the office again I'd definitely use this location again. read more

-Was interested in buying their biggest banner, right off the bat the workers acted like it was an hassle. I remained patient and told them to take their time. -They didn't ask any questions and didn't ask to do a synopsis of the design. -I chose the most expensive package with their design option included. They told me it would take a minimum of 48 hours and more than likely longer than that. -The next morning I had realized there was an error so I called them to make a simple change. They told me, the sign was already done, which was within 12 hours of me ordering it and they wouldn't be able to change it. -If I hadn't called I would've waited a whole day or two. -So I got there and nobody helped with setting the sign up and rushed me out. When I got to our location we realized the alignment was off. -So we called to fix it or get a partial refund. -The guy on the phone had great customer service. Not so much when we got there. -They said they would fix it but started giving us trouble when we asked for an edit to make the font bigger. Not sure why it was an issue when we paid the design fee. -We made our change and arrived next day. They fixed the previous issue but messed up the bottom half. At that point we were just tired of dealing with their condescending attitude and making everything seem like a hassle for them to do. read more

This might be the worst FedEx ever I've been to. I've been here for a variety of reasons, mainly for dropping off items for work and getting last-minute items printed. In terms of the printing, I've never had an issue. The reason for the lower rating is because of the customer service. First off, it seems like they have TONS of employees working, but only one usually seems to be in charge of helping customers. You'll walk in and each employee will look at you and then won't even acknowledge that you're in there or that you need assistance. Most of the times, I'm simply dropping off a prepaid envelope that needs to be sent off. Simple. Sadly, it's not so simple for these employees and 9 times out of 10, I have to wait there for 5 minutes. Today, I went in, like usual, to drop off a prepaid envelope and two employees looked at me, and continued to whisper and gossip. Another guy was working at the front desk, didn't even look at me, and continued work on his computer. Every single time I've come in here to drop something off that should literally take no more than 15 seconds, ends up being a 5 minute ordeal. Horrible customer service that needs addressed. Other than that, it's a typical FedEx location with high prices. read more

This is the worst FedEx on the planet. Was told it would be a four dollar charge if I don't stuff my box. I went and stuffed it and came back. I was then told there would be a charge if I didn't tape it properly. Went to find tape, taped it more, came back. The. Was told that the box itself was "too thin". I explained I was a box I had already received in the mail once through FedEx and I was reusing. They said if I didn't get a different box there would be a charge to put it into a different box. The guy was smirking the entire time, and genuinely just awful and rude. I came in to have a 232-page document printed, 3-hole punched, and binded, AND needed 35 copies. Oh - and I needed this done within 24 hours. Monica at this location was extremely helpful and accommodating and was able to get this pushed through for me. Everything was ready by the promised time, and the staff helped me carry everything out to my car. Needless to say, I did end up paying a pretty penny of $1700 for this, but it was a life saver. Well, finally I am weighing in on a business that I have used with increasing frustration for more than ten years. I have endured long thirty minute waits for one person to help me, rude attendants (though there are two long time employees who, if you can get to them, are very good), broken objects that were shipped . . . . the list could go on and on, including print jobs that have been botched. Today I decided to bike in to this store--about two miles. There is not a bike rack in front. The store is spacious. An employee helped me open the door and roll the bike in. Immediately the manager came RUNNING and RED FACED and shouted in front of other customers and employees "You have to get this bike out of MY store right now." I tried to say that I had biked two miles on a hot day as a seventy one year old. He said that this made no difference to him and that this was the policy. Actually, I have entered this store other times with the bike but I didn't want to get the employees in trouble and I was incredibly embarrassed since all of this happened in front of a friend of long standing. So, here is the deal: I don't have trouble with a policy that is posted and is consistently enforced or applied. No problem there. But, I do have a big problem with rudeness and extremely embarrassing treatment of customers. As a former retail manager, I understand that it is generally not so hard to convey a policy issue to a customer (most of whom are decent human beings) if you know how to treat them. But since this manager did not know how to treat me, I will be moving my business elsewhere--probably Broad Ripple, as another reviewer has suggested. There are plenty of copy and ship centers in Indy. I do not intend to expose myself to rudeness and embarrassment at this Monument Circle location again. read more

I hate to be mean, but I have to return the favor with the folks here. I have gone here several times and it's always fairly slow... no big deal really. What really killed it for me is the rudeness of a couple employees that were looking for every possible way to not box up and ship my product. The looked in some book, called up some 800 numbers, and claimed that corporate wouldn't allow them to send out a simple bottle of fluid because it could be hazardous. They were very snide about the whole situation like they got some joy out of making my life more difficult or something. I wouldn't condemn a whole place for one person, but this took over a half hour and I even got the manager involved. The manager poured gasoline right onto the fire. I walked down to the UPS Store on Market and was on my way in 2 minutes flat and happy. I am now a loyal customer there. read more

Came here to get a 40-page manual spiral bound. Let me first say that anytime I need something spiral bound, wherever I go, the person is able to do it for me in less than 5 minutes. Today was not the case. The girl at FedEx pretty much scoffed at me when I asked if she could do it right now. I was told I'd have to come back later tonight to pick it up. Um... No, thanks. (There were 4 workers present and 4 customers.) I drove down the street to the UPS store and got there 10 minutes to closing and the girl was still happy to assist me. I rate having to go to these kinds of places right up there with say, a visit to the Department of Motor Vehicles back when I used to live in Chicago. Which anyone that has ever dealt with the DMV in Chicago can tell you, is a labrynthine nightmare. That being said-my experience at The Fed Ex Center was actually, dare I say, decent! I have lived in downtown Indy a while now, and my first time at this place was just today. The only reason I knew of it's existence is googling Fed Ex locations near me downtown (duh, why I never did that till today I do not know). I have meandered past this place on Meridian, just off the Circle, and basically across from Christchurch Cathedral dozens of times. Quite interesting that a place that prints signs and banners has such little signage, but whatever. I read the other reviews and had a totally opposite experience, with a guy that was more than happy to help me out. Prices for services offered are decent and it is a rather large store. So glad I know this place is here and no longer have to rely on the tiny, sad and cramped UPS store on Market St., where if there is a line you are so close to people behind you that you can feel them breathing on you, and that has some of the least friendly staffand useless staff I've ever experienced. Charged me *$5* to resize an image. I'm not technologically impaired and could easily do that on my own, but since I had already walked half a mile, I was like "whatever," but it literally takes like 10 seconds to do and $5 is ridiculous. Store layout is a bit chaotic in comparison to other Fedex locations. For some reason, printing a jpeg image meant I couldn't use self-serve printing, which is really weird since it's such an extremely common file format. I could understand if I came in expecting to print out like a Bitmap images or a Microsoft Works document from 1998, but come on... Print quality was good so 2 stars for that. read more

Heed the advice of these Yelp reviews. I didn't, but I needed a late-night shipping option. Parking wasn't too bad on a weeknight. I found a meter right across the street. The service here... sucked. I'm not going to lie, it just sucked. The first thing I walked into was the FedEx employee not take ownership and pretty much disregard another customer's concern about arrival time (when really, the other customer was a bit aggressive and probably irrational). Then after getting through the line, we were the only ones in the store, and the employee told us that it will be a moment, she has to finish some side work before someone showed up because she "should have done it earlier." She asked us to hang around. So a good 15 minutes of her scanning orders, then she took our item that needed packaged, entered the address in her system, and that part only took two minutes. Instead, she made customers (the only ones in the store, mind you) wait because she didn't do her work earlier. To me, that's kind of like if you are on the phone with someone in a call center, and they put you on hold to eat a snack... or send a completely unrelated E-mail (only this time, the customer can see it). The only reason to return here is if it's an emergency, time to kill and patience for a completely ridiculous situation. read more

I'm pretty luke-warm on all these places, but efficiency plus friendliness on my last visit is enough to encourage me to return. I've been here once before, in my previous pre-Yelp life: it wasn't great, but not awful. I had to stop in the other day just to drop off a pre-labeled package. I was surprised to find that the shipping (FedEx) counter had been separated from the printing (Kinkos-like) counter. This once-annoying aspect of visiting these stores seems like it would really help line-control. The lady behind the counter couldn't have been nicer, which always helps. Wow, what craphole customer service. "Your order will be ready Tuesday." *Goes at 4pm on Tuesday to pick it up* "Your order will be ready tomorrow." "What time?" "No idea." For the past 3 years this location has consistently been terrible. Whether it's that the 4 people behind the desk are too busy to help people in a timely fashion, too disinterested, too self-consumed, too underpaid or too unsatisfied with their roles, whatever the reason, they are a let down. This is the worst FedEx location I have ever been to. I ship up to 50 items a week for my small Ebay business and avoid this place like the plague. Whereas UPS and USPS will accept nearly all reasonably packaged items, this location has been running a little packaging scam for quite a while now. If you have an item that shifts around even a centimeter in the box as they shake and rotate it, they will tell you that you must pay to repackage the item and they cannot send it. This is the only FedEx location I have ever experienced this at, and it is a complete money-making scheme. If they try to do this to you too, I encourage you to contact their corporate offices. read more

I'm confused by the low stars for this place. I use it all the time for everything from posters to banners and they're great! The turn around time is wicked fast and they do a great job. There was even a misprint that in all reality was probably a design issue on my part and they reprtined it for free.
