Once again I had to come here for fingerprints. Got to love getting fingerprints done. Especially when the people are very friendly and quick. If you are needing fingerprints done for a background check you have to go through a site called IdentoGo to be able to schedule them and pay online for them if you have a debit or credit card. But if you don't have neither you can do a money order and take it in person to pay at your appointment. The two guys that were working had greeted me and made sure I was taken care of. There was a line when I got there but I was done within 15 minutes at the most. I would definitely come back to this location. read more

MS is conveniently located in a strip mall at the corner of 71st and Binford Blvd. As far as I know, it's one of the few spots locally where you can be fingerprinted manually for professional licensing. You can make an appointment online to ensure there's no wait, which I've done twice in the past couple of years. The gentleman that helped me during this visit was very efficient and nice. Once finished, he helped me mail my fingerprint card to the licensing bureau and made sure all identifying information was included. He also described the tracking process, should I need it. Mr. Mustache was one of the rudest workers in a customer service role that I've ever dealt with!!! Mr. Mustache was very condescending and rude during every interaction with him from start to finish. I came in to check in for a fingerprint scan and he was very unpleasant and short with me. Then, the other worker called me back for my scan but there was an error. Unfortunately he went on lunch, but before that he told to call a number for Identigo and get it resolved, which I did while in the store, and then come back up to the desk. Identigo said all the employee had to do was request the updated file, but Mr. Mustache said he would have to call them and be on hold and he wasn't going to do that. Now I have to reschedule the appointment to a different day, and location since I'm never going back to this unhelpful business again. read more

Mailing Station has been a mainstay of this neighborhood since 1984. It's a remarkably diverse little business. It's honestly a bit hard to believe how much they do here including the basics - packaging, shipping, and mailing. They rent mailboxes, offer copying (including color and banners), offer graphic design, sell office supplies, sell greeting cards, have fax services, do textbook buyback, offer scanning, make a variety of print projects, do document shredding, and even offer fingerprinting services for a lot of the area healthcare and government institutions. Mailing Station is located in a fairly large strip center with Kroger across the parking lot. I've been here a handful of times and never had a negative experience. I've always been treated in a friendly and professional manner and I've been able to accomplish my tasks in a timely manner. As a State of Indiana employee, I've been here twice for fingerprinting services - something that typically happens prior to promotions and/or appointments to various commissions. In case you're wondering, I'm officially not a serial killer. I stopped in today for fingerprinting and their process had gone even more high-tech than usual. I was impressed that the relatively small area where they do the fingerprinting was fairly easily made wheelchair friendly and they adapted quite quickly. I was able to be seen at my scheduled time (fingerprinting does require an appointment) and be in and out in a matter of a few minutes. This building offers appropriate curb cuts and there are two accessible parking spots about one storefront away from the entrance. The entrance is a one-sided glass doorway and the overall interior was wheelchair friendly. I believe the owner was present along with one employee today. Both were friendly and helpful. This has been true for me each time I've been present. I've not had printing services here and I've never rented a mailbox. I have shipped a few things here and have also not had any issues. Mailing Station is locally owned and it's close enough to my home that it's my go-to spot when I need the fingerprinting. I noticed today they also have some pretty cool stuff for sale and overall this was definitely a good experience. This is a relatively small store, but they do quite a bit here and the prices are reasonable. While I respect that it looks like some folks have had not so great experiences here, all I can go on is my own experience and I've had multiple good experiences and would easily return in the future. read more

The business owner was very rude and unprofessional he hung up the phone on me three times after I needed information about fingerprinting. I called and ask questions about fingerprinting that I didn't know he was being very rude and disrespectful when answering my questions. Then he told me do not call the store again. I have been working with Matt at The Mailing Station to have 8 items from an auction shipped to my home in New Mexico and his level of customer service is seriously off the charts: Pleasant, friendly, professional, a good communicator and follows up on his commitments. If I could give this place a 0 star I certainly would. This place is honestly just a scam. I have attempted to make two appointments online PAYED the fees all for me to show up and them tell me I don't have an appointment and to go make one. I tried calling their number I was on hold for over an hour. So I payed roughly $75.00 and I can't get ahold of anyone for a refund or to even make an appointment. Stopped In a few times - convenient. Owner was very RUDE today. Maybe he was having a bad day. He had someone looking at info on a screen and he told Me to come over and helped me with my prepaid package and I asked for boxes he loudly sighed and they other customer said - no thank you and left. The owner gave me the crappiest look and said thx I just lost a sale. WOW not my fault and next time if you can't help more then one person at a time in a nice manner - DON'T. I have delivery packages coming from multiple companies like UPS, amazon delivery or USPS. I never miss a package, when it comes to FEDEX it's always missing. I believe FEDEX has some employees that keep my packages because this happens twice to me. At first I ordered an Iphone from At&t, FEDEX said the package had been delivered. I made a claim that they said the driver left it at my doorstep. Then I ordered an apple watch from verizon, FEDEX said it's been delivered and I did not get the package again. I can not blame my neighbors because when I have a package from UPS I always find it at my doorstep. I believe this is something to do with the driver that's delivering my package because if he/she knocks the door I would open the door because I was home at the time waiting for the package. read more

I get it now... The employees are angry and mean because the owner is too. No wonder the shop is so tense and miserable. This shop needs to be shut down. Still considering legal action for their rude service... totally missed my deadline. Yet another customer service complaint on this store! I went in today to get fingerprinting done and it was everything but great. I was asked my address for confirmation, which I had no issue with, but I had to make it clear that I had two addresses. I thought that was the extent of it, but I was then accused of giving the employee "attitude" and was treated to "not get my order processed if I didn't cut my attitude". Trying to figure out what had just happened, I kept my mouth shut and proceeded with my fingerprinting. When that process was over, I felt obligated to let the employee know that I was not trying to give her attitude, I was just trying to answer the question clearly and concisely. She then interrupted me and told me that I should be more respectful because they "were doing me a service". I told her I understood and appreciated that, but I felt that respect goes both ways and that she was giving me attitude in return. She then threatened me AGAIN and told me she was going to delete my finger prints. I then told her if she really felt obligated to do that, I would just take my money back and go process my fingerprints elsewhere. She gave me my slip and continued to trash me to the other employees as I walked out of the store. Later today I called the supervisors to their company and filed a complaint about this employee. It's one thing to be having a bad day and treat one customer poorly, but it seems like this store has some major customer service issues. I really hope they look at these reviews and take them into consideration and work on properly training their employees. read more

I used this place dozens of times over the years for last minute business mailings when my office postage meter was acting up, or I needed to send something UPS or FedEx. Spent plenty of money there, so I was noticeably offended when on one occasion I tried to drop off a package for delivery, because they are a FedEx/UPS pick-up location, and he compared me to a customer who for 5 years came in and never bought anything at his store. I certainly don't know Scott on a personal level, and I truly don't wish his business failure. We need more small business owners, but there is a definite need for lessons in customer service, or this place is doomed to fail. read more

I had a very unfortunate loss at the mailing station that could not be fixed but Scott did his best to financially cover the loss (it had no financial value-being priceless). But he did his best under difficult circumstances. I was put in a tricky situation having to ship things to a best friend in California from indy after the loss of her parents so it was tense for everyone. I just wish it hadn't happened. I needed to make arrangements to get documents printed, bound and delivered to an address in Indianapolis in less than 5 hours. I'm in Boston!! I was really in dire straits and a lot of time, effort and money would have been wasted if I couldn't find a way to get the documents delivered on time. The Mailing Station bailed me out big time. I called at 9 a.m. and told them I needed to email them some files to be printed, bound, packaged and delivered before 2 p.m. They delivered the package at 1:43 p.m. and called me immediately to let me know the package had been delivered on time. What a relief to get that phone call! These guys are awesome!!! read more

I had the Fishers Mailing station create and print business cards for my husband. It was nice that they did'nt charge any setup or card creation fee. BUT it was a long a tedious process to get the design done. I gave them an example of the format I wanted with detailed notes about the colors and setup. The first design they created was correct but they added in a color I hadn't asked for. When they gave me a second design, the colors were correct but they changed the design. Needless to say it was a long process to get the design finalized. I do admit that I made changes multiple times, but the business card I needed for my husband had to meet specific requirements and The Mailing Station should be respectful of that. So, after two and a half weeks the cards were ready to be printed. I made the payment and they told me the cards would be ready within 3-5 business days and that somenone would contact me when they were ready for pick up. It had been 5 business days and I hadn't received a call to pick up the cards, so I emailed the owner about the status. A few hours later I received a phone call confirming that the cards were ready and I should pick them up at the 71st street location. I found this odd, being that I live in Fishers and there is a Fishers Mailing Station location. I asked why I had to go down to 71st and the employee told me that I had requested that location. The only way I communicated with this company is via email and I never requested to pick up these cards from another location. Why would I go to 71st street if the Fishers location is where I was doing all the work???? So, I requested they deliver the cards to the Fishers location and said they'd do that later that day or at the very latest, early the next morning. Well, I had a family member try to pick up the cards the next morning and they weren't there! An employee said they were at the 71st location!!!!! How frustrating!!! I needed to have these cards in my hand that day and I didn't have time to be running around town because of someone elses ignorance. To top it all off, I contacted the FIshers location later on to express my deep dissatisfaction and the employee seemed like he couldn't care less that the company had really put me out. WORST of all, the owner of The Mailing Station soon called me to address my concerns but much to my surprise he wasn't concerned about me and my experience at all. He was interested in blaming me for how long it took to design the card; he rambled on and on about how he shouldv'e charged me more and called me a difficult customer!!!! Without ever trying to sympathize with me or offer an apology he suggested that he should throw away my cards and refund my money....wow....good business strategy there! WILL NEVER RETURN AND WOULD NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE DOES BUSINESS WITH THE MAILING STATION!!!!!! read more
