I'm a signing agent that deals with loans, and today I had to drop off a packaged loan document to Fedex. As I'm walking up the employee says "I'm trying to figure out why people are still in here" to her coworker loud enough for myself and the other 2 ladies that were in the store to hear. When I asked her if customers didn't come in would she have a job, she started saying "whooooo" and breathing heavy like she wanted to fight. No one in their right mind would travel to Fedex just to look at this agent; clearly people are in there because they have essential business to handle. If Fedex employee's can't figure out why customers are coming in, maybe customers should go to UPS or use the USPS. Moving forward I will be looking for a new Fedex location, and convincing my client to switch to UPS. read more

I like FedEx Kinko's in general, but the staff here is rather curt. I was going to place a print order, but I'm glad I didn't follow through because the staff spoke to me like I was an idiot! LISTEN to what the customer is saying instead of assuming you know what the issue is and talking over them. That impatient "ma'am, I understand, but" is really you not listening to anything I'm saying. If you don't want to be in customer service...don't be in customer service. Those issues aside, FedEx is considerably more expensive than other printers. I had 3 print jobs - 1 that included a 35 page, full color coil bound booklet with tabs and 2 8-page bound booklets. Very poor customer service. No one greets you as you enter! I stood in like forever, while one employee (whom didn't acknowledge me) helped the customer in front of me. Their transaction took an EXTENSIVE amount of time. A gentleman, whom I believe to be the manager, stepped from the back. Didn't welcome me, & didn't ask of I needed help. They just look at u when u come in. The cashier was very short with me. Made me feel like he didn't want to be bothered! All I wanted to do was send one item!! This establishment should practice better customer service skills.....amd start with management on down!!!!! read more

Most of the employees of the Torrence Ave FedEx Kinkos in Lansing/Cal City, IL are not engaged, and not helpful. Because enough of the staff is so lazy, the other employees have to step up their effort to make customers as aggravated and unhappy as much as they can. Like when they charge you extra to fix stuff that they could have fixed for you -- but instead, you really had to pay extra to fix it yourself. It is kinda like going to a special dentist where they charge you double to do your own route canal. If you only pay full price, they just kinda leave you hanging in the middle of a bloody route canal. There is one pleasant and helpful gentleman who I never have a problem with, and he actually is the go to guy for me to get something fixed when you are stuck in the middle. He is easy to spot, he wears a line of big silver rings across his knuckles that says "F**k You." He pretty much wears it everyday I look for him. Nothing says "leave me alone, no customer service today" as well as a chunky silver ring that says "F**k You" in all caps. But nonetheless he has always been the one who gets things done for me without any problems. If I ran that store, I would either fire or retrain the entire staff except for Mr. "F**k You", I would just tell him to leave his rings at home. Or get a tattoo instead, tattooed some spot where the sun don't shine. read more

I needed last minute help designing my brother's obituaries. The funeral home completely dropped the ball, but I new FedEx print things so I tried my luck and miss Tameka helped me out. She showed me on the computers how to set up my father's obituary everything was basically done all I had to do was fill it in. She even printed them same day and helped me with a poster broad of him and stand. She was so helpful and kind and patient with me even though I didn't know what I was doing i was a mess she kept reassuring me it was okay to take my time she had all day and she kept checking on me making sure I was doing it right. I offered to buy her lunch, but she said a survey was enough. My family and I truly appreciate her and FedEx. I definitely recommend them and her! read more

I received an e-mail from my seller stating my package tracking number and I received a phone call from Fed Ex stating my package was ready for pick-up. When I presented my tracking number and ID, I was told the package was signed for by a person with my last name and a single initial for the first name. I authorized no one to pick up the package and I have no one in my family with that initial. I was told to file a claim. No one will tell me how a stranger got my tracking number and how someone could present an ID such that my package was released. Fishy. read more

I will be finding a new place to print my items because this location is very slow and misleading. When I send an email of what I want printed as instructed I receive a email informing me that an associate will contact me about my order and that has never happened so I always have to call. I sent an order at 1:02 pm came into the store at 7:35 and my order was not ready! It was 2 files printed on glossy paper. The associate said they ran out of that kind of paper but no one called or emailed me to inform me so i walk into the store waiting another 20 min and have to pick out another kind of paper. Definitely don't recommend this store at all they need faster pace and better communication! read more

BY FAR the absolute best FedEx experience I have ever, ever had & I've had 40+ of them. Whenever I purchase something for a small seller, I ALWAYS recommend the seller to ship through anything BUT FedEx, but this location proved me wrong this time. Went to the Hammond, IN facility two days in a row just to be told that their Q & A person left early one day and the other that my package hasn't returned yet & they were closing pick up soon so I couldn't stay & wait for my package to arrive, not to mention waiting 35 mins by that point. Switched my package to be picked up from anywhere but Hammond. They sent it here & was literally in & out in 5 mins with my package in hand & a huge smile on my face. Wish I knew beforehand it so much easier just picking it up here. Whatever you do, DO NOT PICK UP PACKAGE FROM THE RUDEST/MOST USELESS FEDEX EMPLOYEES IN HAMMOND,IN. Went in to FedEx on Tuesday at 3:48pm on July 17th 2018....I had a stain glass lamp shade that needed packaging and shipping....after questioning Worker ...Sondietta-Member since 2017...I questioned if it would be enough room because it would be very tight fit....SHE TOLD ME MAYBE I SHOULD JUST DO IT MYSELF....I left and went to Ups the next day....I seen the look in her eyes...she didn't want to do it in the first place....It was more Adults there at this location...now it's just a bunch of kids...she gets paid whether she packages up my item or not. read more

Friendly people but they are extremely slow! I was in like for 15 minutes & only 1 person was ahead of me. Then I was told to give them a sec that took another 5 minutes so 20 minutes in the shortest line of my life. Then I was asked if I needed help faxing a document I said yes they only walked me over to the fax machine and gave little ole clueless me a fax sheet. Not to mention their over priced. Worst customer service experience ever. DO NOT GO HERE! Save yourself the trouble. If you have to drive further to go somewhere else, do that. The employees WILL NOT help you at all. And they do not have many of the equipment/machines necessary for a print and ship center. I came here one night with the intent to print and laminate some images. Pretty simple task huh. Did not happen. When I asked the employee to help show me how to copy/past an image into their software (I was using their overpriced computer) he refused to help. This is a very simple task that any employee should know how to show you how to do. He informed me with a very smug look on his face that it is the CUSTOMERS responsibility to know how to use the software and machinery. If they don't then they are SOL. I was to say the least very surprised. If that is the case then who do they think their customers are? Anyone who is intimately knowledgeable about using this equipment probably either has access to it at work or does it at home. These kinds of places are specifically built for people like me who don't do this stuff very often. I thought maybe he misunderstood what I wanted so I explained exactly what I wanted to do. I said, "hey man, all I want is to copy paste four of my images onto one page so I can print four of them out on one piece of paper. Pretty simple. You can probably show me how to do that in like two seconds." This guy was not busy at all. There was only one other person in the store at that time. He again told me I was SOL but the good news was that he would do it for me. It would only cost me $7.50 per image. I laughed. I was like. "Dude. I got 17 images here. That's like $130 bucks to do what would take like five minutes." He then shrugged and gave me another smug look. I then gave up on talking to this asshole and decided I would just print my images one at a time. Better than dealing with that jerk. I printed my images which cost me over $40 dollars to print 17 images. Seriously. This place is way overpriced. Then I wanted to cut my images out. I looked around for the cutting board. Not finding the kind of cutting board I am used to finding at these kinds of places I settle for the big slidy thingy board. After reading the instructions on the back I test it on my $40 printing receipt to find that it tears it all up. I go back to the asshole behind the counter and ask him if there are any other cutting boards I can use. This one ripped my paper up. He tells me. "Yeah. That doesn't work. The customers abuse it." I say "ok, but do you have another cutting board that does work?" He replies "No." In a very annoyed fashion. I then ask him "do you have ANYTHING that I can use to cut a straight line?" Then with a very smug look on his face he tells me "I can give you a pair of.... Scissors." Seriously, he said that to me. He offered me a pair of scissors to cut a straight line. I then ask him if they have a laminator. He says "Yeah. Over there" pointing to the other end of the store. I ask him if he can show me how to use it. He doesn't say anything but shrugs his shoulders and gives me a smug look. At this point I gather up my $40.00 17 pieces of paper and ripped up receipt and walk out the door giving the jerk the finger. I don't normally give people the finger. Can't think of another time in my life that I have. This guy really gotten under my skin. There was one other customer in the place at that time. He and I conversed and he seemed about as frustrated as I was with the staff. He was trying to print some business cards and they would not help show him how to use the software they have loaded on their computers for business cards. That seems ridiculous to me. There was literally nobody else there. I want to make it clear that I am not complaining that this place is overpriced. I went there fully knowing that they were overly expensive but expected them to have all the tools and equipment necessary to do the job quickly and get me better results than if I did it at home. And hey, if I needed help, there'd be someone I could ask questions. I expected to pay for these things but I also expected to find them when I got there. That was not the case. It took me longer than it would have at home because I was not familiar with their software and nobody was willing to point me in the right direction. It was waaaay more expensive than it should have been because I had to print 17 pages instead of 5 and had to spend more time on the computer than should have been needed for a simple job. The equipment necessary for this simple task was NOT there, at all. They didn't even have the stuff needed to do the job. WTF. And there was nobody to help me if I had questions. I literally received nothing that I expected to receive when I decided to go there. Do yourself a favor. Stay away from this place. read more

I'm fairly certain when I requested a "FRAGILE" sticker be placed on my box, it wouldn't require much more effort from the agent than peeling the sticker off the backing and slapping it on my box. Apparently, this was too much for her to handle and my entire box of meticulously wrapped, sentimental, irreplaceable knick knacks from my deceased father was drop kicked around the facility. Either that, or she took the box and dropped it from the top of the Sears Tower to break every single item. In the second box I brought to be shipped, half my item was busted through the packaging. Luckily, through the grace of God, it didnt break. I should have walked right out when I witnessed them tossing other peoples boxes around carelessly. Disgusted. read more
