Shirt cost + $.50 per letter. They have an online ordering system, but we were told it's better to come in to make sure it turns out okay. I should have made them my self and I am not a particularly great seamstress. I had to wait weeks more to have them redone. I paid top dollar for professional window treatments. What a waste of time. I also had pleated shades hung behind the curtains and now they are not easy to push back up. They will probably not last a year, and I also paid top dollar for those. Once they die I will go to Lowe's and buy off the shelf. Don't waste your time or money on Calico's products. I am very unhappy with the outcome.

Last weekend I hosted a tennis themed bar mitzvah for my son. No bar mitzvah is complete without…read moreswag - sweatshirt, flannels, etc. We also had an entire pro shop filled with fun swag from Custom Specialty Promotions (and a few things from other vendors as well). We priced out all the items and Diane had the most competitive pricing for the majority of them. I try to get things done super early so I'm not scrambling at the last minute. We started chatting with Diane many months before the event, but didn't actually place the order until about 5 weeks beforehand. While this usually seems to be enough time it did feel very rushed for a few days making decisions on designing each item, but appreciated that Diane worked fast to get in done. Everything got to Chicago in time for the party with the exception of sports fingers for the dance floor that got held up in customs in Canada. If i use Diane again, which is likely, I plan to get all the orders in 8 weeks of time to give us a bit more breathing room. Everything came out super cute - favorites being the sweatshirts (don't think my son has taken his off all week), sports sandals (the women really appreciated them halfway thru the night when their feet started to hurt and it kept all of us dancing), flannels (always the most popular item). Diane also did a great job of sharing her thoughts on which of our logos would look best on each item...and the finished productions were adorable. I appreciated how communicative she was with both me and our event planner thru the process. We spent a small fortunate on swag, which we paid for once everything was all in, but it really did look super cute in the pro shop. I've seen a few kids wearing hats, sweatshirts and more around town which also puts a smile on my face.
