OK, so I accidentally checked into Kinkos, not realizing that Fed Ex and Kinkos merged like two lovers in the night. I'm always the last to know. Going into a Kinkos without a severe sense of anxiety is a new sensation for me. Let's review the anxiety-provoking place of services list: Kinkos (or any copy shop), supermarkets and the post office. Possibly only the dentist ranks higher. So, thank you Fedex for making this experience a painless one. There is a good amount of office supplies in here, in addition to copying and fed ex services. I even got my passport photo taken here and the gentleman who took it informed me that I had to have my shoulders covered or the photo would be rejected. I hope it wasn't because he didn't want to look at my shoulders cuz they are ugly. I can't imagine why he'd think they are ugly, but see above. I am neurotic. I have to think over every possibility to the extent of debilitation. I jest. In all seriousness, every time I've gone in here, the staff is extremely helpful and speedy. Recent personal and familial issues have forced me to turn my services elsewhere and I could not be more pleased! It's rare that I write a positive review on "Yelp!," but after the experience I had at the FedEx on Massachusetts St., I am a changed gal! I walked into the 0109 store on a frigid afternoon and was met with the smiling glow of Dakota! I came to the in-store location to mail a package to my brother (who is mourning the loss of his late fiancé) and Dakota was quick to assist me. She ensured that my package would be taken care of once it was in FedEx's hands. I cannot wait until my brother gets a knock on the door from Dakota with his package! I WILL be back! read more

they deserve 0 star if it was possible. I paid about $100 for a priority overnight delivery which guarantees money back in case of late delivery. They delivered two days later and after I filed a complaint and it was rejected then I called like 100 times to resolve the issue and get my money back they just kept referring me over and over without any response. You should be proud to have such a shitty business!! You charge as soon as you want and then you do not deliver and make it soooo hard to reimburse us so that almost anyone stops following up. I am a eBay Power seller for the past 23 years and all I have ever shipped has been USPS. But lately I have been shipping Fedex due to lower cost on bigger items. The FedEx website is confusing and difficult to use. I have an account, but have to enter data over and over even after "saving" it. I created two shipments, one going and one return, using the same information, but when I got to the store realized that I was being charged an extra $2.31 for the return shipment even though it was being delivered to the same city it was being shipped from. Fedex advertises "one low price" ($7.50) for envelopes, but my envelopes cost $12+ and $14+ for a total of $26 ... NOT $15! I asked about the discrepancy at Kinkos (FedEx), but was told "oh, that's just the way it is" and was not offered a refund or new shipping labels at the cheaper rate. Customer service at this location is sketchy with reps having little if any knowledge of FedEx processes or pricing. It seems as though the employees here try as hard as possible to do as little work as possible. For example, last time I walked in to ship an envelope, the sign at the self-help station next to the counter read: "No need to fill out forms, let us do it for you", but when I got to the counter without the forms I was told "you need to fill them out" as she walked away to perform routine chores. Both times I have been there I stood at the counter while employee performed mundane tasks while I waited as long as 10 minutes for the customer in front of me to finish their transaction. The only reason I return is because UPS is even worse than FedEx when it comes to customer service and the USPS is ... well, it's the USPS! Pros: open 7-11 weekdays, downtown, clean store Cons: Staff members seem to dislike their job, they act like they are doing you a favor, very little appreciation for customers. They cut orders to the wrong size. Paper is low quality. Printing prices are outrageous, especially when their are other places in town. read more

I had a terrible experience at this fed ex last week. My husband is a member of the beer of the month club, so he gets beer in the mail several times a year. We both work full time during the week and aren't home to sign for it, so we always have to have it held at the store. My husband commutes, so I always pick up the beer on his behalf. When I first started picking up the packages, I called FedEx and asked what was needed for me to be authorized. They said as long as my ID had the same address as the shipment that was all I needed. So until my experience last week, I've never had any issues. I went into the store as usual and said I was picking up my husband's package. The man working got the package and asked for my ID. Upon reviewing my driver's license, the man pointed out that we don't have the same last name, to which I responded yes, that is true, however, we have the same address, therefore it is ok for me to pick up the package. He then asked me for a second form of ID. I then told him that I have done this several times before and never been given any trouble about picking up his packages, in fact, I picked up a package for him the previous week. He then goes on to tell me how it isn't "traditional" to have a different last name. At that point, I felt incredibly disappointed and exhausted. I told him that we live in the 21st century and not all married couples change their name and then asked to speak to a manager. He told me there wasn't a manager available. He then took my ID and inspected it for nearly an entire minute. He then gave it back to me and processed the package. As he was handing the package to me, he had the nerve to tell me that having different last names was going to "cause issues" for me in the future. I left feeling angry because I felt my autonomy had been called into question. I felt disrespected, and I also felt very judged. I can't change the way this man feels about women not taking their husband's last name. But as a customer, I shouldn't have to be subjected to his opinion either. After reading the reviews I am genuinely shocked! I had a completely different experience while mailing my package than most had. This was he first time I had used FedEx, so wasn't sure really what to expect. I had a package that was being sent overseas and needed to arrive by a certain date. After calling/traveling to UPS & USPS and being told they either couldn't get it there in time, or it was going to cost outrageous amount if they could, I stopped into FedEx. Immediately I was greeted and asked what my needs were. The staff was friendly and polite the entire time I was there. They helped me price several different box sizes and shipping options to find the best fit for my needs. Although I was there about an hour total, this was my fault due to my specific mailing concerns. FedEx was not only able to get my package to its destination in 2 business days, but they did so at nearly half of what UPS wanted. The package left Lawrence, arrived in Japan, cleared customs, and was delivered and signed for in 2 days! Very happy customer!! read more

Nice, friendly service, the the location is terrible. Parking is an issue every time. Either there is no parking because it's in the busiest street in the city, or you have to pay for parking. It's an issue every time and they really should be at a more convenient location. read more

This review is based on many visits over the course of two years. The staff are consistently unprofessional (they are cold to customers and rude to each other, even arguing openly) and not always helpful. They seem to have little customer service training, and seem ill-equipped to manage busier times (as in they get easily frustrated and take out their anger on customers). I would suggest taking your business to Copy Co or Pro-Print (if you want to keep it downtown). The "convenience" of FedEx isn't worth it, at least not at this branch. read more

Very rude! Also no sign posted that pets aren't allowed, kicked out my little 5 pound dog that was on a leash and is very well behaved emotional support animal. Go somewhere else to mail your items, this place isn't worth it. read more
