I was not impressed with anything about FedEx. Today increased my negative thinking. I have a professionally made sign on my patio gate advising where to deliver. I am an old person. The 108# sofa was placed under the sign. No email is sent advising delivery made. This was a simple visit and I usually go to a different location. However, this one was said to be closer. Upon entering the Customer Service rep was on a call. I waited my turn and she immediately assisted me. See, here's the thing, she could have pointed to the Kiosk and told me to do it on my own (because it was that simple, since I already had a label). However, she came around the counter and walked me over and explained that my receipt would print out and scanned my envelope for me. She then proceeded to ask the next customer if they required any assistance. From what I could tell, she was on her own and likely had her job to do. She still took the time, with an incredible attitude to assist us, the customers. I felt she went above and beyond, especially considering it was all basically done and there was no official transaction being made at the store. I've been here a couple of times to print labels and drop off packages. It's small but clean and organized. They have an automatic sliding door at the entrance, which is great for when your hands are full or the store is crowded. The first time I went, there was a line, but the staff was great about checking in with people and moving things along. Printing is easy here and you can email it ahead of time, then release with a code. The staff members are always helpful and friendly. This is so much better than the UPS print/ship center. read more

Don't ever use Overnight shipping with FedEx. I paid 41 dollars to ship a wallet to my son from Arizona to Vermont. I shipped it Saturday morning and was told it will get there by Monday before 8pm. It didn't arrive until Wednesday at 2pm!! My son needed his wallet before Wednesday morning and had to fly without it. After requesting a refund I was connected to three different people on the phone and then was told I have to wait 5-7 business days before I can get the number I needed for the refund. On top of that she said the refund isn't guaranteed they would review it and let me know. This is shit. I'm never using FedEx for anything. They are trash. read more

Zach was wonderful! First, he noticed that I was limping and after he showed me the first step, he carried a chair from the customer work area, which is down some steps and would have been difficult for me to access, so I could sit while I prepared the email. He helped me with every step - cheerfully and with patience. Sometimes young people treat older, tech-challenged people in a way that suggests they are aggravated by having to help them so much -- but Zach didn't make me feel uncomfortable for needing so much help. I know I would have taken at least twice as long to do it without his help, and I would have been stressed trying to figure out what to do. He also gave me a quick (less than a minute!) training on how to use ApplePay efficiently, which I appreciate very much. I really needed to know what he showed me, and I feel much more confident using it now. read more

Today CHANTRY saved the day! I had an emotional print job to do and was shoed away a bit by another printshop. Chantry took the time to slowly (my request) explain why I couldn't use black paper for printing. Chantry helped me with this print job in so many ways and it came out better than I expected. I bought a chair online but received the wrong item so the seller sent me a prepaid FedEx shipping label. I dropped off the package today and the Store Manager, Antwan range me up. He noticed that there was a small tear in the box which must have been there already since I never even take the chair out of the box. He said he would have to mark the package as damaged so they wouldn't be held liable. I said that's fair, and asked if can I use a piece of tape to reinforce the tear. The Store Manager told me that the 3 tape dispensers behind him were not free to use and that I would need to purchase tape. I protested that this was ridiculous because I would only need a small piece of tape. I just want to minimize risk of damage so the seller doesn't fault me when they receive the item. The store manager made it clear that my options were to either ship it as is, buy a role of tape and patch the tear in the shop, or take it home fix the tear and bring it back. As it turns out, the Store Manager of this FedEx decided that 12 inches of packing tape is more valuable than a positive customer experience. read more

They tried to be good, but they just couldn't do it. What I liked: the service was professional. The guy dressed well, and found a way to save us a couple dollars by making our box smaller. What I didn't like: - They wouldn't let me ship my books in my well-taped shoe box. I get that it's a company policy and all that, but for a couple text books, I really didn't see the harm in shipping them in a package that was completely sealed. It seemed more like a money-grab than anything. - Slow. Slow. Slow. Oh man. All we wanted to do was ship two parcels, one of which had a pre-shipping label on. But we stood there for probably 35 minutes waiting for the single employee to finish our order. I get that they were short-staffed, but it's the holiday rush. NOTICE TO MANAGEMENT: Fix this or you'll lose customers. Tip: they have coupons on their website for discounted services and packing prices. read more

My package which was clearly marked perishable was scheduled for delivery on 4th May. The package arrived at Tempe depot on time. I get an alert during the day that delivery will be delayed by a day. A package that contained medicine that needed to be refrigerated and was mailed in an ice cooler stayed an extra day in unrefrigerated environment. I think they are highly irresponsible. This is my final review for 2012. So I thought it was fitting to review Fed Ex. This location is great and Edward is a really nice guy. (He works there). I had to visit this location a few times during December, he always had a smile and was happy to help and answer questions. At times he had a lot of people in there. All wanting and needing information, help, and packaging. He was so laid back and helpful. Even thanked everyone for their Business. So nice to go into a place like this. I am so happy to of found this place so close to my new home. It is a great location with lots of parking in the huge lot. Reading the last review, I am very lucky that Charlie no longer works here. Instead we have the fabulous Edward. This guy is so great! I came in 3 times over the last week with lots of packages to mail. Every time Edward was smiling and happy,even though they were so busy. He even thanked us for our business. He was so beyond helpful every time. The best part everyone got their Packages as promised,2 day delivery even with the last ones going out right before that bad storm hit Middle America. FED EX has always done really well for me. Charlie will make sure your time here is the least pleasant. Not even Hi, and you'll have to "bother" him with whatever service you need. We went there for a copy and a fax. He tried to be helpful and offered to increase the scale (no need to), so my friend's license drive goes back into the machine. Fax goes out, and Charlie forgot to return the license. Next day she returns to recover it and he just laughs when she found it at the machine. You can tell he really hates to work here. read more

This store has absolutely no compassion or customer service. I arrived after 40 minutes of traffic at exactly 4:44pm and was told to come back tomorrow. For ONE page letter I needed overnight due to a personal family emergency. A package was delivered to my home yesterday that had been refused I even had a note on the door and had spoke to customer service before the package even got here the driver left the package anyway even after seeing the note I got in my car found him a couple of streets over And asked him why he did not take the package he said he did not know where it was going back to yet the seller address clearly on the label. He took the package but wasn't happy about it The next day (today) I had another package coming. When I went outside to get the other package. The package from yesterday was also there. I immediately called Amazon thinking that they brought it....but no it was brought by FedEx I had an Amazon supervisor and a FedEx customer service person on the phone with me at the same time.I told the FedEx person that the FedEx label had been removed and the package had still been brought back to my home they advised me to put refused on the package and return to sender and take it to the Post Office and drop it off so that's what I did I had no choice I feel that fedex has the worst customer service of all package delivery companies and irresponsible drivers. I cringe every time I am going to receive a package from them. They need to start taking responsibility for their bad employees. read more

There is just nothing convenient about visiting FedEx Office centers. Unless you show up with a parcel to just drop off, there's no sense of urgency here. Their printing is equipment doesn't work and everything needs a work around. Staff is friendly but that location is just set up to fail. read more

I went over to Fedex to get 500 fliers printed. First, The guy helping terrible at listing, I was explaining to him the paper I wanted, the texture, how many I needed printed, and color of the paper. Well the only thing he respond back to me was ok so you want it on white paper, and then stared at me like anything else you need, Hmm. He then started to ask me how many I wanted printed and If I wanted that glossy, psss wow. Ok Second thing, he lied about the price of the order and the length it would take for the order to be completed, let me say I still don't have my fliers. He also did not have a clue on how to ring up an order, like how hard is your job dude. I don't think I will be returning unless he's not working that shift. read more

I sent a package to my step-daughter and had it held at this location. Big mistake. Their business hours are extremely limited and do not work at all for anyone who has an 8-5 job. I called and asked how to get the box, but the guy who answered the phone was unsympathetic and unhelpful. He just bumped me to the FedEx national 800 number. I'm not the most "scanner savvy" but she scanned them both for me, showed me on the computer before charging me to ask if these were ok. Staff was very cold and didn't seem to want to help. I went in to fax 13 pages and had to ask for help instead of being offered any assistance. Fax machine was super slow so I tried to pay and ask how much it would be but the girl working told me to wait until the print confirmation paper printed. She proceeded to tell me it was going to cost be over $21 to fax 13 pages of paper. I was super upset she did not tell me this until all pages went through. I definitely would have went somewhere else like a public library. Unacceptable service and fees and will definitely not ever be coming back! read more

After having an awful experience at a fedex kinkos over two years ago, I avoided this place like the plague, until my manager sent me to make copies of several documents we needed right away. I went in extremely optimistic hoping this experience would be different, especially since its two years later and I live in another state. I was sadly mistaken. Employees were apathetic and unknowledgeable about their own equipment. It wasn't until I became so frustrated that I actually was willing to pay for my documents to be full-serviced, but they became willing to help and give me the self-service price. Needless to say, Id rather purchase a printer and print every document and staple it myself, than to ever step foot in another FedEx Kinko's. I wish I could rate no stars!!! read more

I was apprehensive to visit this FedEx location as the reviews did not look so positive. When I entered the store, it was neat, clean, and well-organized. The attendant, Roy, was nice as he greeted me with a warm welcome and assisted me with my transaction. When I asked him about the negative feedback. The store had previously received. I was expecting him to tell me that was some type of change in employees or management. Instead, he informed me that he was actually substituting from another store as the employees were both on vacation or a leave of some kind. I was a frequent customer and it is so close to my home but I will never go back. I gave a package of a return to the woman that works there, a full time employee with the brown hair and pony tail and she never smiles. My package went missing and it was 150.00 worth of clothes.
