Maybe I'm crazy...but when I've paid for parking to come print something at FedEx "print and ship", I kinda expect the printers to work. I needed to print a simple gift certificate for my husband's birthday. You have to pay by the minute to use the computers here. So I jumped on, hit "print", changed the settings from b&w to color, and waited for it to print. But it didn't. I went to the machine, it said it was out of magenta toner. I went to one of the staff, who told me to wait, because she was training another employee on how to ship something. Never mind that I'm paying by the minute. She came over to the printer and said " just a minute I need to see if we have the toner." What?! You're a print shop, I came to print 1 thing in color and you're not sure if you have the color toner?! I got frustrated that the meter was still running so I logged off. She didn't find the toner so she gave me another option for printing at another machine. "But I already paid for the printing over there, so are you saying I need to pay again?" She asked me for proof via a receipt. Thank heaven I had selected "email me a receipt from the computer" before I logged off. Showed her the receipt. She said she'd reprint it behind the counter for free. Then she showed me a way to print items in the future from my email without having to login to a computer (3 stars for that, as it was very helpful) and she got me my printed gift certificate before I left. read more

I deal with FedEx almost every day at work. While for the most part I utilize their website for shipping and ordering supplies, I occasionally need to stop into one of their brick and mortar shops if I miss the pickup deadline or if I need supplies quickly. Since this is the closest FedEx to my job, I'll usually come here. Located on East Post Road, this FedEx location is quite large. There's a number of work stations with computers as well as ample room to prep your shipment and print photos. I'm also consistently impressed with how organized the store is kept, especially because of its size and the number of businesses that surrounds it. The store is open 24 hours which I was surprised to find out but is pretty convenient if you prefer coming in at off-hours. When it comes to speed of service, it really depends on how busy they are. I've been in and out real quick at times while other times I've had to wait a good while to be helped. The employees are friendly, but the length of time I've spent here varies. My one criticism of this location is their policy with refrigerated shipments. I periodically need to ship out coolers with temperature-sensitive products and I've been told by the manager of this location that they cannot be dropped off here. If that's a FedEx policy then fine, but it's a slight inconvenience so just be aware you can't drop those types of packages off here. Overall, this FedEx location gets the job done. It may not offer the same services of other locations, but the friendly employees and clean store make it an asset in downtown White Plains. read more

After having such a poor experience at Fed Ex Greenwich I elected to try this location... I was bound to Fed Ex by the company I was shipping back to. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Greeted, acknowledged, instructed where to and how. They have customer service down pat. Within minutes my boxes were labeled, receipt in hand and I was on my way. You would think that this is an ordinary transaction but these days not so much, definitely a 180 degree difference from the Greenwich location. Probably THE slowest and worst customer service I have ever experienced at a FedEx Center. All I wanted to do was pick up a package, which literally took 2 minutes when I finally got to the front of the line... AFTER I spent 10-15 minutes watching the two employees behind counter bumble around with the customers before me. As if that wasn't enough, some dude (who identified himself as a FedEx employee) tried to cut in front of me in line. If you can avoid this particular location, do so. read more

I have never had to obtain a credit report until now. (at the request of a potential landlord for our daughter). We had tried to do this on the computer at FedEx central Ave in Scarsdale but ran into serious printer problems there, a staff member who angrily pounded his fist on a table when we told him the printer was not working and staff there ( Scarsdale) who refused to help us w our printing problems. ( we ended up on the computer for two hours...after much effort their manager gave us some refund. We ended up w only 2 pages if the credit report ) THIS location Post Road, White Plains was the complete opposite ! They were outstanding on all levels during the three days of work! Ramell our first day was quiet very fast hardworking waited quickly w each customer, no mistakes. He was gracious extremely efficient. Claudia the second day was outgoing cheerful a genuinely pleasant happy person who was equality very fast attentive efficient. Yesterday for the big print of the full report we met Rich, the assist mngr, who went above and beyond. He came sat at the computer and helped us at the TransUnion site figure out how to print the entire report -- very complex w their system He did this in less than 3 minutes. We ran into some problems after his help and he gave us a partial refund. No hesitation . Just very gracious calm efficient with excellent customer service. To do this entire report was just 5 minutes total in their systems. (Scarsdale central ave was 2 hours and only 2 of the 13 pages were obtained). Post Road White Plains is also very clean ( also offer disinfectant wipes. ) with a large clean bathroom. This location is double the size of Central Ave with excellent physical layout of all customer work areas. Huge parking area behind their building. read more

I apologized to Shayne and instead of just letting me go, he gave me really good tips about returning packages and even went above and beyond to help me pack my box up to take to UPS. I visited the FedEx Office location at 137 East Post Rd (White Plains) on August 27, 2018 and was disappointed to learn that the rate for basic overnight document delivery (i.e., delivery by 4:30pm on the next day) is now $ 35.00, representing a significant increase from the last price. The equivalent service from U.S.P.S. is only $24.70. It's increasingly hard to justify patronizing FedEx because of the uncompetitive pricing. Service, helpfulness, and hours of operation are important, but ultimately price is an aspect of service, and no business can leave price out of the equation entirely. Overnight delivery of documents is a core aspect of what FedEx does, and they ought to be able to offer competitive pricing. In all other respects, the staff were speedy and helpful. I just can't come to terms with the increased price; it seems unreasonable and it's not a pleasant experience to show up at FedEx late at night, feeling grateful that they're open, only to leave feeling fleeced by an unanticipated significant price increase, which, at the last minute, I had no choice but to pay. read more

I called ahead (at 7:15pm to make sure that the guy that usually helps me out would be around. He told me that he would be leaving for his break at 7:30 but returning at 8:30. I walked in the door at 8:27 and was told by his co-worker that he wouldn't be back until 9pm, but he said that he could assist me so that I would have to wait for Byron....it's been 30 minutes since I stepped in the door...still waiting for him to come over to help me... :/ read more

This supposedly Customer Service oriented company has THE worst customer service at least at this location. I've had more than one bad experience there but this one example takes the cake. I bring in a carton to ship and they quote me $14 via ground. Another employee says my carton must go inside one of their FedEx cartons - I say OK fine I see no problem with that. They put my, perfectly fine carton, inside their carton, stuff it with some paper and they OK your all set - 'that will be $78 please'. So I was quoted $14 and then handed a bill for $78. Needless to say, after too much energy on my side they unpacked it and shipped my original carton which ended up actually costing $12 to ship. I really like that this branch is open 24 hours. They really come to the rescue when you are working on last minute projects and need to print something at 4am. The self-service printers are user friendly but if you want to print something quick put it on a USB instead of your google drive or other cloud storage option since the printer takes forever to connect to your cloud. Another benefit to the 24 hour convenience is that its great for anyone that needs a place to study or work on work for long periods of time. The local libraries usually close at an early time so fedex is perfect for those people that do their best thinking at night. The downside is that the internet is NOT free :( The staff is really friendly though and they do a good job when you need to ship packages. read more

I don't know why the staff has so many bad reviews on here. I went saturday around 10pm and they could have not been more friendly or helpful. I give them an A+. They are aware and engaged. I used the app to upload my order which was super easy but wish it had more options. I was emailed when my order was ready and it was waiting for me when I arrived. The store is neat,clean and orderly . You can park in the municipal parking behind the store which accepts credit cars as payment. The prices on non-printed good is a little high might be better at Costco or Amazon. read more

Yesterday, I needed to make a complex international shipment by FedEx for my new job, so I read the reviews for nearby locations. There were all pretty bad, so I chose the least 'awful' office and drove 40 minutes to White Plains with 3 huge, heavy boxes. The employees could not have been more helpful. They lent me a cart to get the boxes from the car, explained the mistakes I made filling out the commercial form and the air way bill, and told me how to correct them. Because it was a difficult commercial shipment, they needed to look up the correct procedure in the ( 3 inch thick) rule book, which they did until they found what I needed. It took over an hour to get everything sorted with 3 people helping me, while also handling other customers, so they didn't have to wait at all. They did it cheerfully and politely, always eager to help. I can't imagine a more accommodating, conscientious bunch of people. Without them I never would have gotten this shipment out on time, and would have failed my new client. Despite the long drive, I am certainly going back there with all my future shipments. Went in at 6:45 to have a package shipped. Took 30 minutes with 2 associates to do, and both started arguing with each other about their attitudes. Finally the manager told them to stop as there were customers (myself and one other) in the store. I'll be back due to convenient location and good stock of supplies - and, among everything else, the manager was extremely friendly - but the professionalism and delay was awful. read more

i must say that being open 24/7 is the best part about this fedex shop .i can make copies or fax something myself if needed but they do laminate and i can ship stuff via my fedex account when the post office or ups is not an option. this fed ex is in white plains on east post rd which is a zombie ghost town after 12 am. a small parking lot in the back or park right out front , the place is clean and well stocked with supplies . the guy who help me was friendly and knowledgeable and checked to make sure i filled out all the forms for my package . my only stink is that the fees are much more then ups or the post office but they are not 24/7 . my package got to it's destination in 3 days and all is good. read more
