I finally was able to catch the FEDEX driver today as he tossed my package from his shoulder onto my porch. Granted, it was from Chewy, but he had no idea what was in that box. This is a monthly occurrence with this driver. I also receive 2 other auto ships from Chewy with the same thing happening every time from the same driver. Other folks who also receive packages delivered by this same FEDEX driver have the same complaints. It reminds me of the old delivery commercials of a gorilla delivering and tossing packages. My garage is right beside the road and I left a note and asked drivers to please leave Packages on my porch or at least by my yard gate that isn't next to the road but driver refused to do so. If I could give 0 stars I would! My problem is no way to call local fedex offices! I get weather delays. But this is ridiculous! Showed delivery for Wednesday then Thursday then today. Now Saturday. So, tracking shows it arrived at the office from where it would be delivered. I will gladly go pick it up. CAN'T because in order to do that it takes 24 to 48 hours for the system to arrange that. If I could call the office where it is now I could tell them I'm coming to get it. But no! Local numbers are like state secrets. I have had 4 or 5 deliveries "delayed " even after them arriving at the Beaver, WV location. I get notifications that my delivery is coming the next day and then it ends up being 2-3 days later!!!!! It's RIDICULOUS!!!!! Then when my packages are delivered, they are placed close to the edge of my porch. I have asked several delivery people to please put packages closer to my door or even on the cart beside my door. I am on a walker and that extra effort would mean a lot!! They do not deliver your package when the app says out for delivery, the driver determines whether he wants to deliver. The driver's job is to specifically to drive and deliver. Apparently David, driver from Beaver, does not have to do his job. And he is a blatant liar, because his excuse was that he couldn't deliver because of business closed, well this is an apartment in a complex. No friggin business in the neighborhood. So Lie!!! The fedex driver for fairmont, west, virginia, is a piece of s***. He's lazy and don't wanna do his f****** job. He keeps leaving packages at the bottom of my heel by the mailbox, instead of putting them on the porch. He left a brand new xbox.In the rain. And now, one of my packages were put by my mailbox, clear at the bottom of the hill and got stolen over the weekend and just got an email today. Tuesday october first that my package was delivered on saturday. I have tried to make complaints and every time I call the 1 800 number. They always tell me they can't help me. I wish I could give this facility less. The whole system is rigged against us. When you try and speak with someone you get nothing but an automated response. I paid extra for a delivery. The driver drove past my house in my parking lot, but failed to stop and returned the part to the Beaver facility. This is unacceptable and we, the customer should not have to put up with this. Package was to be delivered on Thursday, was marked on the sight as DELIVERED but was not! Got a call from the local office on Friday which said they were trying to deliver the package... I was not available to receive the package, they said they would hold it at the facility for pickup. I sent someone to pick it up and they would not let the person pick up the package because their ID did not match the address... IT WAS A BUSINESS ADDRESS. I called the local office to tell them I had sent someone to pick up the package for me and they still would not let the package go. Every time I call headquarters (since I can't find a local number anywhere) I get contradictory information. UPS is the way to go. I am a very patient person. Yesterday 01/07/2020 a package was supposed to be deliver to my mother in law at her apartment. The delivery was postponed due to weather in our area. Ok I understand that. But the thing I am writing about today. Weather is clear, walk ways, and parking lot clear. FedEx delivers to the appartment beside her but does not deliver her chair which she needs for back surgery. Excuse my language but you stink Excuse my language but you STINK My daughter order lobsters from Maine with paying extra for Saturday delivery, She was told, YOU DO NOT DELIVER IN GHENT WV on Saturday, but on Saturday as we were heading towards Daniels WV what do we see???????? FEDEX trucks out for deliver in Shady Springs WV which is not more than 5 miles from our home, so what is no delivery on Saturday?????? Now to top it off, we said okay deliver on Friday, check on site for infor and says delivered at 4:30 no problem. My daughter opens her door around 1:30 /2 and there is a our box of lobsters sitting out in the cold, no one knock on the door, no one rang her door bell, thank goodness she opened the door or who knows how long they would have been sitting out in 10 degree weather. The worse part is the box on all sides was marked PRESISIABLE, (spelling) in large print but the driver just left them there. Why was it left out in the cold, they could have frozen and she would have been out dollars, but thank goodness she found them in time. As I am now waiting on a package that was shipped express and was delivered to the wrong address, I called to locate the package and asked if the drivers use GPS. well disappointed in next day service. i had package sent form my company with permits that needed to be put on truck before midnight on the 31st of december. they never showed up so i lost my holiday pay along with my wages for my family. in the past they have gotten permit books overnight next day air, no problem. you guys need better service or more reliable help. i am an over the road truck driver and for almost 20 years have never been late on a delivery. read more
