They lie about their attempts to deliver a package and they lie about contacting the driver. And to boot the person at the facility is rude.

Consistently the worst and rudest, laziest, unprofessional employees. NEVER have any problems with UPS. I actually go out of my way to not have my packages delivered by these clowns. read more

Received a door tag from FedEx on 1/31 (Friday). Even though It stated another attempt will be made, I made my way to FedEx facility on Saturday to pick up myself. I arrived at the facility around 3:30PM and there were 6 people already in line waiting and no one behind the service counter. 15mins passed before a FedEx rep emerged from the back room with two packages but it took another 15mins for the rep to actually release the packages to the customer. During this 30minute wait, there were 6 more people that lined up behind me. With five more customers in front of me and averaging 30 minutes a person, I just couldn't wait another 2.5hours for my package! Since another attempt was supposed to be made Monday, I called off work to wait for the delivery. A snow storm hit NYC, so I was actually shoveling snow all Monday afternoon but did not see a FedEx truck go by. No door tag, no knock, no door bell all day! Today, 2/4 (Tuesday), I called customer service to track my package. The customer service rep told me that 3 attempts have already been made on 1/30, 1/31, 2/3 so I would need to go pick up the package myself if I didn't want it returned to the shipper. I told her it was unacceptable because I only received a door tag on 1/31 and I even went to the facility on Saturday to pick up but the wait was over 2 hours long so I had to leave and then I also called off work yesterday 2/3 to wait for the package but no one came! Customer service told me that she would put in a request but can't guarantee anything. I'm supposed to get a call back on the status of the request later today but I will call back by 5pm If I don't hear from them. I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION! If this store was to close down and leave its employees homeless I would jump so high for joy I might break my neck on the bottom of an airplane. For some reason, every other carrier (UPS, USPS) manages to deliver to our building without issue. However Fedex never fails to come at exactly 1 PM each day (Maybe) and then force us to trudge to their God awful service center on 20th street so we can waste away an afternoon watching 1 person servicing dozens of people. Sometimes that 1 person is competent and dealing with mostly brain dead people who obviously put very little time into understanding the requirements and cost of shipping something. If fedex goes out of business tomorrow, I would be thrilled! read more

They didn't deliver the package & 2 days later left a door tag dated 2 days before saying they tried to deliver the package I had already picked up at another FedEx location. When I called customer service they tried to say he must have delivered it to a wrong address. Use UPS!. read more

This FedEx makes Plate Tectonics look fast. I imagine there was a meeting at FedEx HQ where they brainstormed "what makes for a terrible customer experience, and how can we make that worse?" On a Monday at 4pm there was a line out the door; we waited 1/2 hour while some poor woman tried to pay. After a while the worker helping her went in the back and a new guy took over. The process began to repeat itself, same customer. Eventually, people started giving up hope and leaving. It wasn't even the employees fault. They were trying, albeit slowly. I imagine they're pretty used to the glacial pace of business by now, trapped in roles in which they're unempowered, just watching the minutes tick by. FYI for those who have the misfortune of missing a Fedex delivery and being sent to this location to pick up your package (no matter how far away you live in Brooklyn). Do not arrive until 8:15 pm. Yes, the place closes at 8:45 pm so it is a tight window, but if you get here any sooner, they will inform you that your delivery guy (and package) is not yet back from his trip. This happened to two other people when I mistakenly ventured to the middle of nowhere at 6 pm to pick up a delivery I had missed. Avoid at all costs. read more

I have a package that has been sitting in their space for over a week. They claimed to have attempted to deliver it but could not find my address. I have packages delivered to me all the time and never has anyone had difficulty finding my building. When I called to inquire about my package, the lady I spoke told me lies. I basically had to tell her to look up my tracking number and find my package and how to go about helping me to make sure that I got my package re-delivered. They have terrible customer service. The people who work there make you feel like you are a burden. All I want is my package and whatever I need to do to ensure I receive it is all I care about. It's not fun for me to waste my time having to call you. read more

In one word, this location is horrible. FedEx is supposed to be a premium shipping service, but I will use UPS or USPS for now on if I can help it. I had to make three trips to pick-up a package that was being held. The first was on Saturday at 4:30 PM. I was told they closed early (they were supposed to be open until 5). The second time was on Monday evening at 7. Once again I was told they closed at 6 (the website and phone representative said they were open until 9). The third time was Tuesday morning at 9. I had to wait outside in the cold for an hour and a half with a group of about 10 other disgruntled customers for the employees to retrieve our packages from the warehouse. For some reason the storefront wouldn't open, and it took three of us customers making calls to FedEx corporate to compel the warehouse workers to help us out. I eventually got my package thanks to a friendly, assertive and hard-working woman there (I wish I had her name - she was about the only helpful employee throughout the entire process). This was all compounded by the fact that this location is in a far-off warehouse area of Sunset Park. read more

Do not go here unless you have no plans for the rest of the day. This location has the RUDEST and SLOWEST customer service. I was waiting in line for half an hour to drop off a box until I noticed a man dropping his boxes off by the wall so I did the same. When I asked the older female employee if that was the drop off section, she said, "well you just made it the drop off section. Since you didn't ask, you must know what you're doing. Okay. Mhmm." She could've just confirmed it for me instead of giving me attitude and not even answering my question. Obviously she just wanted me to waste my time and wait in line for over an hour to simply drop off a box. Get rid of your current employees and hire ones with manners. read more

Brutal!!!!! Can't park because people from nearby business take up the clearly marked FedEx spots, they always tell you the system is down which I find amusing and they take days to find packages. Better off putting whatever you have in a bottle and throwing it into the ocean, at least that way it might actually get where it needs to go read more

They are horrible and lyers!!! I always have to pick up my package at their office because their drivers says he attempted to deliver. THE FED EX DRIVER never showed up two days in a row. I understand the hurricane affected many people. Fortunately our area wasnt affected like many. Roads are open and clear. I was supposed to recieve a package OVERNIGHT!!!! by 12pm. It was on the truck by 10am, I never recieved. They used the excuse of weather as exception...Bullcrap. We are fine. They are using this past hurricane as an excuse not to fulfill their duties. Have any of us ever been to a package distribution center that you would rate 5 stars? Compared to the average, I'd say this one is not too bad (the average is terrible, this one isn't worse). At least they're open long hours during the week. Every time I go there is only 1 person working the desk and the line backs up as it takes forever to find each package. read more

Just bad! I count 6 people on line. Now 7, 8 Including the couple in front of me waiting for FedExRep to come back with their package. (I waited about 10min before they were served). It has been over 10min waiting for her to return. I think she went back to have lunch or smoke break. She just got back. What type of system is this? Some of us just want to drop of product with shipping label already affixed. There should be some type of self service for this. It would cause a lot less frustration for the consumer and the FedEx employee. Or have a system where if more than 4 people are on line someone comes from the back to help. Surely FedEx can do better than what they are offering in terms of service at a ship center. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was treated like absolute garbage. 2 females walking into this location with a 100 lb box, no one even offered to help. When I asked for tape to apply my return label to the box, I wasn't even spoken to, I was just thrown a clear piece of what looked like tape, but was a clear envelope to actually put my label in. I applied it wrong and the customer service person behind the counter tried making me feel like an absolute moron because I put the envelope on wrong. He kept taking customers that were behind us instead of helping us and trying to show us how to apply the label properly. He then further insulted me in front everyone saying that the task asked of me was very simple and the girl "behind me did it the right way". I will never go to this location again. Customer service is TERRIBLE!!!! These people should honestly be fired and they should hire people who actually know how to treat others. read more

I needed to reroute a package sent by mistake to this location and cringed when I saw the reviews. I was all set for a bad experience, but to my surprise and delight an employee, JULIE, was awesome. There were at least 10 people in the store at any given time while I was waiting, but she treated everyone as if she was there for them and was extremely helpful. She is an absolute gem and an asset to the company. FedEx - give her a bonus/raise. read more

The drivers are terrible, I assume management to be even worse because I've had this same problem once before, which is a driver lying about trying to deliver a package. I own a local retail shop, opened at 9am and was waiting for a critical package, contents were needed to fulfill a customer order (which ironically I had to ship FedEx today and now cannot meet the deadline). My store is obviously open, gate is up, the lights on, there's a chalkboard outside, the door not locked. Customers in and out all day. It's about 1:30, I'm sitting at my desk eating lunch (somehow the delivery guy got my food here!), I look up and see a doortag on my door stating the business closed. WTF??? We are open, I'm sitting right here, visible from the window. The worst part is that most likely no one will hold this driver accountable for lying, and now I've got an upset customer, who's order I can't fill on time. read more

If you want your packages - don't bother with this Fedex location! Whoever they have delivering packages to the Kensington area is incredibly lazy and lying about attempting to deliver packages. I've definitely been home waiting when supposedly they've stopped by. They're the ONLY ones who I've ever had delivery issue with - like Steven T mentioned. I went to this location only because I went to another location on Court Street and they referred me here due to the contents of my package. These young men were extremely professional, courteous, smooth, and did I mention handsome. Yes, handsome, so I didn't mind the wait. I was able to ship off my package without a hitch. Unlike the Court Street location.. Granted, they were busy, but the 2 workers, young ladies, had a little, no they had a lot of altitude in their attitudes to the point a complaint was made to management. Rightfully so, no need for my 2 cents in that one. Even though Court Street is more convenient, I will go the extra mile to the 20th Street location. Pros, nice eye candy and efficiently. Cons, if you don't look carefully, you may miss the location due to the fact it's in a factory area and you have to look beyond the security booth to find them. Otherwise I think it's worth the trip!. read more

i wanted to rate this 0 stars but it wouldn't let me. 1 star was the lowest. They do not deserve any! This business - FEDEX- has absolutely the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life. i paid over $30 to have a package delivered for a very critical meeting. The package was shipped on Saturday from Rochester, NY and was supposed to be delivered to Brooklyn, NY Monday at 10:30 am. first it was routed to TN by mistake. by the time it was delivered to this location in brookly, at 12:26pm , 2 hours late already, the "courier" had already left. By the time the truck came back to pick the package up it was very late. The facility was contacted and they said the package was out for delivery. At 8:55 it was reported in the tracking info that "the customer was not available or business was closed ". this was a boldface lie. The person that had been waiting to receive the package at home all day was there waiting. No one delivered the package, rang the bell or left a door tag. Do not use this service if you have a critical need to have a package delivered by a certain time. FEDEX doesn't care about their customers or their business. I will never use this service again and hope noone else will either. I'll use UPS or USPS before I ever give FEDEX another penny!!!!!! they suck!!!!! i see by the many poor reviews i am not alone. I can in on a weeknight to pick up a missed delivery. Two days in a row, they left a note on my door that said "final notice." I called and they said it's actually only the second notice, but I can pick it up if I want. When I went, there was only one employee behind the counter, and a line of ten people. read more

It there were no stars, this shipping center would earn that. We spent more than an hour after being told our account was inactive. They suggested we call 1-800 FEDEX. Isn't this FEDEX? After more than 45 minutes, two phone calls through the morass of push one, etc., I was told that, indeed, I did have an account. We tried to pass the cell phone to the customer service rep to have 1-800 FEDEX corroborate that we had an account. No luck! She was attending to other customers! I asked to speak to the manager and, after 15 minutes, someone showed up. I related out terrible experience.....We were there to ship 16 containers (644 lbs. of personal items). The lack of courtesy, no attempts to be of help, while radio station WBLS was blasting in the background...... This is the only face of FEDEX at the 20th St., Brooklyn location. Very different from the professional service via 1-800 FEDEX. Why are customers given the impression that they are doing you a favor....when you are paying for the service? For shame..... read more

Terrible service and terrible service recovery. They don't follow their own processes, pay attention to any "online instructions" in the manage your account section or make any attempt to make things right. this place is not helpful, they frustrate you more because the person behind the desk is fooling around with a co-worker and acts like you are not there, and the drivers say they attempted to deliver a package, all lies and the worst of it they didn't leave a door tag like they are supposed to, I am not saying all of them but some of the drivers, mainly the younger guys doing deliveries, I think some of them are just plain lazy. read more

Every negative review here is true and accurate. This is by far the worse FedEx shipping Location in the whole USA. The employees here don't give a hoot about you or your packages. Snails and turtles move at lightning speed compared to the employees here. Avoid this place if necessary. read more
