Dang's Thai Cuisine & Sushi Bar - Sushi was tasty. Don't recall the name of the dish, but it was good.

When we're back in the area, we'll definitely stop in again! We originally were going to order from Sushi on Second in Ketchum, but my sister in law had to do an errand on Hailey so we figured easier to just pick up from Dang's. And always fun to try something new. We ordered a combo of thai and sushi and though the food wasn't anything special. The thai food was a little bland, although my mother in law commented she was happy it didn't have too much sauce. I thought the chicken pad thai was the best of everything we ordered, but nothing special. I usually love pad see ew, but found this one to be kind of ew. The sushi was fine. My youngest is a sushi fanatic and I've seen him taken down several rolls in one sitting, but he helped himself to a few pieces of salmon and rainbow rolls and was done since it wasn't anything special. I also orderd the coconut rice and mango, which sounded nice and sweet. It looked pretty gross, but actually tasted better than it looked...although the rest of our party wasn't impressed. I did think the pricing was pretty reasonable since we got a lot of food for 10 people, but I wouldn't order from here again.

The gals behind the counter were nice but clearly running around like chickens. The website is down (and has been for a while, and still is as I post this review 10 days later), which is always a drag because I like to preview the menu and cross reference with Yelp photos. When I mentioned it, they were a little snotty, so I dropped it. I ordered two sandwiches, the hot roast beef and the ham and apple. Instead, I received the meatball sandwich in place of the roast beef. Honestly, I was fine with it, but the lady doubled down and insisted I had ordered the meatball one. Spoiler alert, I did not. The ham and apple had barely a whisper of apple, so the meatball ended up being the winner of the two. The real stars here though are the cookies. Yes, they are overpriced, but they are delicious. The peanut butter based ones are the champions in my book.

This quaint shop that has doubled in size since our last visit. We ordered at the counter and waited for our Reuben sandwich and a Ceaser salad. The Reuben had corned beef, 1000 Island dressing, saur kraut on marble rye. The corn beef was chewy and the bread needed to be toasted. Quickly, the sandwich was deconstructed. The flavor was ok but very messy. The salad was split for us and had romaine lettuce, shredded parmesan, croutons and dressing. The salad was crisp and fresh but the salad tasted like a bunch of individual ingredients and not a blended meal. The dressing was also scant. I forgot to photograph the meal but don't feel it would change my opinion. The ingredients were solid but the meal tasted like the items were stacked and no effert was made to blend them together. I don't feel I need to return to Big Belly Deli. The staff was sweet and hard working. It is not what I expect at a deli. They are obviously doing well as they have expanded and are still in business after our last visit over 12 years ago.

It was…read moreone of those evenings where the only thing I wanted was to enjoy a nice down-to-earth meal in a relaxed setting. While there is some indoor seating, the restaurant offers some seating outside that appears to be shared with the KB's Ketchum Burrito place. With that said, there's plenty of places to sit outside and once you place your order inside, they will bring your food out to you! One major remark I have about this place is the heavy pour of wine they had to offer! In addition to beer on tap, they also offer a small selection of wine on tap and you will receive a large serving! NO complaints from me on that, haha! It was a good quality Rosé too! For food, we ordered the following: Garlic Knots - these were delicious! They pull apart really easily and weren't too garlicky. I really enjoyed the marinara too as it didn't taste like it was from a jar or can, even if it was! Buffalo Wings - the buffalo wings were cooked well and had a slight crisp to them which was nice! They could have stood to have a bit more buffalo sauce on them, but were cooked well otherwise! Margarita Guy Pizza (add jalapenos) and Pepperoni Pizza - both pizzas we order were great quality! The dough wasn't too thick or too thin and wasn't burnt at all. In fact, the consistency was spot on for how I like my pizza! Golden brown with a bit of crisp and without being overwhelmingly crunchy. Great spot for great quality pizza in a small town!

I ordered the General Pao Chicken (medium spicy) this was delicious. It was covered in a sweet salty sauce. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the end sorry.. very happy with proportion size. It came with a choice of fried rice or white rice. I had the fried rice, which was a good choice. The fried rice was moist, flavorful and tasted freshly made. Next, Combination Chow Mein. Beef, chicken and shrimp was very tender tossed in chow mein, brown sauce and vegetables. This was also delicious.! again the portion size was excellent. Overall, this restaurant hit the spot. I can't understand why this restaurant was empty. There was only one other guests eating on site. The food I had was excellent. Everyone should give this restaurant chance... you won't disappointed.

We really aren't of the chow mein / general tso's chicken ordering types - so old school "Chinese" places are typically avoided. That said, we had a wonderful meal! I just have to say that we stuck with some standard dishes for our first visit - since this IS Idaho still. I started with hot & sour soup and my wife tried the crispy rice soup. Both were very good, and we were pleasantly surprised since most versions of hot & sour soup that I've tried since moving to Idaho have been rather disappointing. We then ordered the potstickers which were great. They were freshly made and we could clearly taste the ginger and pork in the filling. I've eaten plenty of potstickers in my life and these were memorable. We then ordered a bunch of dishes since we obviously needed to obtain a good sampling of the fare. We got the beef with snow peas - which I really enjoyed. My wife ordered the combination fried rice - which we thought was good but not great - having had slightly more flavorful versions in the past. The kung pao chicken was good to very good. Overall we were really pleased with our meal and intend to frequent China Panda more often. In future visits, I will definitely be ordering the hot & sour soup, potstickers, and beef with snow peas again! My wife relays that she would get the crispy rice soup and kung pao chicken again. I really do want to try some of their other dishes with our next visit. Will report back! P.S. Katie our server was great. We had such a nice conversation with her and she really took care of us! Thanks Katie! See you soon when we return.
