I went to the FedEx Ship Center and had a very smooth experience. The gentleman working the counter was very friendly and helpful. I really like that this spot is right next to a large FedEx facility, so you know you are right at the source. It was not very busy when I came in, which I appreciated. I was picking up a package. He took my information, went to the back, grabbed it, brought it out, and I was on my way. The place was very clean, well supplied, and organized. There was nothing I could complain about at all. Afterward, I looked at their Yelp page and saw a lot of really bad reviews for this location. I am sorry that other people had those experiences, but that has not been mine. Each time I have come in, they have been friendly and things have gone smoothly. I do not see any reason not to give this FedEx Ship Center 5 stars. Everything went very, very well. read more

I went there to pick up a package after the driver was unable to access our building's call box. Unfortunately, the interaction I had with one of your agents, Carliss, was extremely disappointing. From the start, she was unprofessional, dismissive, and displayed no empathy. Most concerning, she seemed unfamiliar with FedEx's own policies, which made the situation even more frustrating. As someone who works in customer service myself, I know how important professionalism and respect are when dealing with customers. If I treated clients the way I was treated, I would likely lose my job immediately. Employees who interact with the public should be trained, knowledgeable, and committed to providing a positive experience -- this was far from the case here. First time I've used FedEx and hope that it' was the last one if nothing changes. My package supposed to arrive today and I took a day off to receive it, as I had to sign to receive it. So I was waiting for my driver, wrote all the instructions in the description and my driver did the best thing he could, he just went to the wrong floor and left the sticker on the door on that floor! Thanks to him I'll have to take one more day off tomorrow and of course I requested to hold it on the office near me as I'm not going to waste more than one more day to wait for them to left a few more stickers on someone's doors. Add contacts of the driver for each delivery if signature is required or add the option to rate your driver, so they may have at least some motivation to do their job properly! read more

But the lady at the front desk looked at me like I was stupid because I didn't know how to open and attach that clear and purple plastic mailing label sleeve-:-D. And it's hard to open...from which end!? Well believe it or not, in all my years of living, that was my first time ever having to get a clear and purple plastic FedEx sleeve, insert a mailing label, and attach it to a package. And probably my last. But thanks for the training session. I won't have to bother you again. I'm sure glad the store was EMPTY when I needed help. When you say someone has a chip on their shoulder, you are describing the employees at this location. Literally refused to give me my package based off of the fact it was addressed to my business name and not my name personally. When asked what would info would suffice to receive my package. I was told "nothing". I'm confident Fedex corporate is blissfully unaware how poorly managed this depot is. Oh and the best part was the lobby was totally empty of personnel for at least 10 minutes while customers were left wondering if something was happening. One of the clerks did leave their cellphone blaring music though. NOT KIDDING when I say myself and other customers were wondering if this was a armed robbery or some sort of active shooter. Sad. incompetent, rude and shockingly inefficient! I don't think upper management has a clue of just how horrible the employees (including the manager Khashoggi Malone) in this branch are. I would give them less than 1 star if it was an option. Paid extra for overnight express for some urgently needed medical equipment. Was waiting at home for the package when I got a notification saying that they attempted delivery but customer was not at home (not true). Asked me to pick up between 6-7pm. Was there from 6-8pm explaining, pleading and waiting for them to give me my package. After making me wait for 2 hours (and for another 3 hours at home), they said they couldn't find it, wasn't their problem if they can't find it....can't believe that this is the standard of service at FedEx and frankly, in the US! The service is terrible here. Extremely bad service I waited almost 20 minutes to simply ship a package. They had a new rep who held up the line making everyone here extremely angry. The manager on duty Paul was not accommodating he did not help out the line. He also did not accommodate my request. I'm extremely annoyed at this point that I even came here the lady at the counter named Sheriene was extremely slow. It took her forever to process my request. I waited in line over 20 minutes. The manager Paul was rude and was not accommodating. Each time I have come here I've had nothing but good experiences. My last visit was fantastic though, but I am still kicking myself for not taking advantage of an opportunity to mail my packages. I left to "get a lower rate" from USPS and that was a mistake! This facility is clean and never crowded. The customer service is top notch as they try to get you in and out. 1 star for actually having my package at the location 1 star for clean facilities and adhering to social distancing rules No more stars because FedEx is always the only shipping company who never even tries to get into my apartment complex. I even called FedEx the day before anticipating incompetence and clarified how to call me from the directory. My building even has a fancy touch screen buzz in box. All they have to do is look up my name and hit "call". Then my app allows me to open up the door. The elevator is automatically called to get to my front door. FedEx ALWAYS just doesn't even try. I don't get an attempted call nothing. There have been times where they leave the slip in the lobby! Indicating they got in but was too lazy to take the elevator upstairs. They're completely useless. When I mention this to the pick up center, no response. I said, "I don't think the delivery guy even tried to call me at the building door". She just ignored me all together. First of all THIS IS NOT A PACKING LOCATION - the idiot woman at the 800# told me it was so I took my stuff over there to be packed AND shipped, only to arrive and find out they don't do that. I was the next in line; it took the rep 15 mins to complete what looked to be a simple delivery; this is what they do correct? Mail packages all day. I'm next; had to wait another 5 mins for her to complete the paperwork from the previous customer. Then I was asked to move my order to the other side. Since when do we purchase tape with the box we're already purchasing?? She proceeds to ask me 599 questions while having to prepare and tape up my package. They never attempt to drop off a package that requires a signature. In the days of Ring doorbells and motion detector cameras, you'd think they'd know better than to lie and yet... they continue to lie. They lied about two attempts. When I went to pick it up they told me I couldn't because it wasn't there yet despite it saying it was scanned in 30 min before I got there. Not a lot of parking spaces here but it was not too busy when I went around 2pm on a weekday. They have social distancing signs on the floors and there were two cashiers helping the guests. After about 10 minutes in line , I handed them my packages, got receipt and was on my way. read more

If there is a way to give this place 0 stars I would. My first issue was the carrier decided to not check off the box to allow a 2nd attempt at delivery. This meant I had to drive an hour to this location in order to pick it up. Then, when I went to pick up my package I had to wait 40 minutes to pick it up. Was it busy? No! There was one customer a head of me. When a second staff person came to help the 10 customers that had arrived after me (after having waited 25 min), they collected everyone's pick up slips to retrieve their boxes. I had to wait longer. When they were ready to give packages to the customers you would think they would distribute based on the order of customers wait time. Nope! I was in the middle of the pack of customers to receive their packages. Clearly they dont value customer service. On top of that, when I went I initially arrived, the greeting was FAR from warm. I would call it a grunt, at best. However, those who arrived after me got a warm welcome (from staff person Anthony, I believe) asking how they could help. The funny thing is they were all a different ethnicity than I. By far the worse experience ever, and I would not recommend. I just hope I never receive a FedEx package again! read more

It's highly likely that the workers here stole the laptop in the package that was held at this location. When I picked up the package, it felt surprisingly light and, sure enough, when I opened it there was nothing inside except padding. The shipping label stated a weight of 7 lbs which meant that the laptop was taken after it left my employer's office. Additionally, the top of the package was clearly re-taped. If you take the entire day off in order to wait for the package, not only will FedEx NOT notify you via a perfectly valid method (automated calling, texting), the driver will sneak up to the door...discreetly place the door tag dead center...and leave. Calling customer service to request re-delivery barely helps. You are at the whim of whatever route the delivery driver has on hand...and whether or not said delivery driver acknowledges the re-delivery request. Finally, it might ultimately be up to you to find the destination facility in your home town and pick the package up yourself (if it is an important package) or risk signing the door tag and have them leave the package at your door, to risk theft (again, with no call or text to notify the customer). The last time I wrote one of these reviews was two years ago. Even since then, technology has made things IMMENSELY easier to coordinate logistics AT THE CUSTOMER LEVEL. Change your inefficient ways, or risk a competitor coming up with a better way to deliver packages to people WHO ARE HOME AT THE TIME. read more

Had to pick up a rather large order for work which was supposed to be delivered to my house but instead I had to pick it up myself. *Picking it up myself isn't a problem, what's a problem is being led to believe that it was going to be delivered after wasting 5 hrs and eventually finding out it wouldn't be coming to my house. *I felt a bit bad for the workers. The good: - open until 7pm, so it's reasonable to get there after work - it's a full shipping center, so you can have special packages delivered there at no extra charge and you won't have to worry about safety - full FedEx service - free parking in the lot right next to it - more or less friendly staff The bad: - always a 20-30 minute wait - staff moves pretty slow, but still nice! - too many people use it!
