I've been to plenty of US Post Offices and this one is by far the worst one that I have been to. I went on a weekday during lunch hours and there was one person working at the window. We were told that everyone called out and she was by herself. I could not complete my transaction because she told me the system was down. I don't think that's what happened because, she was was just pressing buttons on the computer. Everyone in line also saw her frantically looking for tape or other items to help the customers. One customer had to tell her where the tape was located because she always frequents this particular post office. Fast forward to Saturday; this was worse than the day before. I went in on Saturday and checked the time that the post office opened. On the door it says that it was open on Saturday's at 9:00am. I arrived at 9:45 and the building was not open. The same woman that was by herself was there again and told us "please wait for a moment I can't open up the safe because it's too difficult. Once I get it opened up, I'll let you all in." There was a line outside so we waited and talked amongst ourselves. So, 30 minutes pass by and she walks out and tells us the same thing about the safe. We wait for another 15 minutes and we don't see her anymore. People start to knock on the door and no one answered. After awhile, I finally left because it appeared that she completely left and did not come back. I do not plan on ever going back to this particular post office unless I absolutely have to. After speaking to other customers, they informed me that this happens regularly and they never open up on time if not at all. I feel that a sign should have been posted at least to let everyone know about "technical issues." Here's proof and a time stamp to show that it was not open on time. read more

This post office has a parking lot but it's in the back of the building which was really confusing. There's also street parking on the side and front which is convenient but I didn't realize that until later. The biggest reason for my low review is that they don't have that automated machine that literally every post office does. I don't want to stand in line to buy stamps or weigh and send a package. Usually I can just use the machine but they didn't have one. The guy working was really nice so he gets five stars but otherwise I'd go to another post office. read more

Do not get a PO Box at this site it take about 20 to 25 days to get mail. I have never had a problem with my PO Box until last couple of months now it's taking about 25 days to receive a letter that was mailed within the same city. Literally the worst post office in LA county. Routinely closed during posted business hours and massively understaffed when they actually are open. They also don't have a package drop or self-service kiosks. Save yourself the frustration and head to the location on Aviation Blvd which is superior in every way. read more

After figuring it out and was able to ship my package with some creative thinking lol I was greeted by the service clerk there, Kierra!!!! She made my day better, she greeted me to the window with a welcoming voice and was plenty during the experience. No staff seems to care for their post office here. The place is unkept, and the staff are unprofessional, juvenile, and inefficient. Customers including myself waited over 10 mins for things that could be done in two mins if they focused on the transaction rather than their social chatter. Even though i won't be ordering #### from anywhere to supposable be delivered by FEDEX or USPS i recently lost another $45 package that was said to be delivered by USPS. When i got to the mail box it was unlocked and open with of course nothing inside. What can I say? I signed up for a new PO Box online, prepaid, went down the very next day to get my application approved and presto, I was in the system! Barbara verified my payment and ID and hit a button on the computer. I was assigned box 2XX and could start receiving mail immediately. There was only one problem, however, NO KEYS. Rather than assigning me a new box, which I was told cannot be done once the system generates a new box for me, I was told I would have to wait for Armando to order new keys or change the locks, his preference of course. I asked about whether I could start receiving mail. I was told a resounding YES, and not to worry. I could just retrieve my mail with an ID from the counter until the keys were ordered. No problem. I ordered three items on Amazon...and today my first package was delivered while I was out of town. And get this. I get a notice from Amazon that package was returned to sender due to UNKNOWN ADDRESSEE. Thanks again USPS, I´m the guy who wants government funded healthcare, and now I see what all the Tea Partiers are petrified of. Why can´t I just get a new box...if I´ve already paid??! read more
