They ask that you bring your own bags and I saw that a lot of people brought their own carts/wagons. Once it hit 10am, the line started to move rather quickly. It was my first time there and hopefully it won't be my last (I had a hard time by myself with my little one and stroller). I'm not going to lie. I was overwhelmed but feeling blessed because I was finally able to make my way here. The folks who were handing out the food were very kind and pleasant. I had to fill out some paperwork being it was my first time but I didn't realize that they also sold furniture and they take in donations but only on Wednesdays I believe. The value and quality of the food to me, were priceless. I got lots of meat and two cartons of eggs. I'm very thankful that someone shared this place with me and that I was able to go this past weekend.

I also heard from multiple co-workers that since they did not qualify for the pre-k program at Killeen isd, they decided to place their little one in Memorial Christian Academies accredited pre-k class and seen instant learning as a result. Some of my co-workers decided to keep their children at Memorial all the way through high school, while others stated they enrolled their child in KISD for whatever reason. On both cases every single child was advanced by multiple years. With smaller class room and a curriculum like A Beka your child will be so far ahead of the curve. I am so blessed and honored to have my daughter attend Memorial and and truly thankful for the faculty and staff that help shape and mold my daughter each and everyday!

The administration changed about 2 years ago and it is sad how the school has declined in it's Christian value base. Teachers are selected off of craigs list to fill a position rather than selecting good quality staff to teach our children. The administration is more of a dictatorship than a collaborative teaching environment. When administration gets questioned the children become the victims. It is heartbreaking to watch. The staff is intimidated to the point where they don't speak up and the frustrations become evident in the classrooms. Political agendas, immigration viewpoints and even biblical challenges have found their way into the curriculum. I have talked to some of the other parents and they feel the same. Unfortunately most will not speak up publicly but it I think it is my duty as a parent and Christian to ensure that the truth is brought to light and the children left there are defended. Please do not bring your child here... it's not about the money, it is about the moral compass of the integrity of the school. If you are a current parent, please speak up... the children are counting on you. If you are looking to enroll... look deep, you will find this is not the place to keep your most precious possession safe. God Bless.

Around November 7th, 2022. I contacted the Red Cross after my father died. I was requesting help…read moregetting my nephew, sent home for the funeral. I was overwhelmed by the kindness and concern that was given. They immediately contacted my nephews, commanding officer, and made sure he could get the time off of work. I received an email the next morning, telling me that they had contacted his commanding officer. They contacted me by telephone after to make sure that he, had sufficient funds for his air line ticket, and if he needed help getting a ride to the airport. I received a call and email asking if everything was taken care of and if there was anything else that they could do to assist us. During this time I'm sorry I didn't write and say how wonderful they were. Today I received a questionnaire, asking me how they did. I n thinking about this I realized they really deserved a big shout out. So if you're thinking about donating to an organization, I would recommend the Red Cross wholeheartedly. This is a change in my mindset due to my families dislike of the Red Cross over the years for something that happened I believe in World War II! Or Korean conflict! Bambinos was an okay daycare when my stepson first started. He started going to this daycare when…read morehe was about a year and a half. They did not complain about him then, other than when he was sick. He turned 2 and they didn't have much to say about him then. When he turned 3, they were telling us how we needed to get him checked for ADHA and for autism. Anyone that is smart would know that you cannot diagnose a kid that is ONLY 3 years is too young to tell if he/she is autistic. Our doctor even told us that. Well, he was showing out there, yes, but he kept coming home saying "mom they're stepping on my neck". He also kept saying "mom I don't want to go to daycare". He has never told us that before. They suspended him for 2 days, and we just took him out of there. They're very unprofessional, I know they were doing something to him, and they showed favoritism. They also called my stepson a kid from the street, but in Spanish. He is differently not from the street. He's a kid being a kid. Even if he is autistic, he shouldn't be treated any differently! He's still human, and again a kid. They're rude. I would NOT recommend anyone this daycare. They only care for the money. They do not deserve a star, or even half. Also, my stepson is Puerto Rican. He is very smart and was on the road of learning Spanish. He had to go to Puerto Rico for the summer, and they told us that they'd hold his spot if we kept paying them monthly as if he never left. After the suspended him, they told us that they couldn't hold his spot anymore. Everything that he was learning was from the kids that were in there with him. They never suspended them because the little boy was related to one of them. I know they were secretly doing something to him because he was acting out there and at home. He was crying telling us that he didn't want to go to daycare. My baby got depressed going there. Obviously when a kid is showing different signs and emotions, believe them. This daycare wore my stepson out. Y'all suck!
