I reached out to a number of contractors on Yelp needing some repairs done after my contractor was ghosting/non-responsive/non-committal with me. After a few hours of me sending out a message, Bryan at Feel at Home was one of the few that actually started a correspondence with me in requesting pictures of what I needed fixed, some specifics, and getting a quote. I had to deal with some other items in the meantime and didn't respond back to Bryan until the following week. Once I messaged him, he still responded very quickly and was able to make a visit the next day at 7am. He was on time (early, actually), very professional in his demeanor, and I was able to quickly show him what needed to be done. He took in all of the information and was completely fine with the job, and did communicate with me that he'd need to run to get a few supplies, but that he'd be back within a very reasonable timeframe (especially with morning rush traffic). He also gave me a timeline on when the task would be completed, as I needed to head to work and couldn't stay. Less than 2 hours later, he and another employee completed the job perfectly. I was very happy that he sent me pictures of all the work he did, so I can see the task completed. Everything I requested was done, nothing was shoddy or what I'd deem to be bad, and he even took care of a few small items while he was there, which I was very grateful of. Once I drove back and inspecting and approving the work he completed, I asked him if either him or someone he could recommend did any cement work, as I needed a neighboring wall and a separate planter wall to be fixed. After talking to him, he suggested a few options (one that I didn't even think about), and told me that he could come by the next day (7am) to take care of the job. I did send him a text later that night to request that he use the side gate instead of the main doorway because cleaning was already completed, and he obliged. There was an occasion where he did need to go inside, but he did text me before they entered. So, on day 2 of him being there, he was there on time. And, a few hours later, they sent me pictures on the jobs completed, and it was perfect! I was able to drive back to see the work done, and I saw that he completed everything that I requested. Very happy! Bryan was very professional in the two days I interacted with him. He didn't belittle me or made me feel stupid or made me embarrassed on the requests. He didn't act frustrated when I asked for a second job from him, and he (and his team) always had a courteous manner. He listened, assessed all situations, quoted the costs fairly, and was efficient. He and his team didn't create any messes, or at least cleaned things up to make things as neat as it was when they came by. Very happy with how day 2's projects turned out. I think payment preferred is cash and Zelle, though he was okay with me paying by check. Would highly recommend! read more

Bryan did a great job with painting my house. He was very clear in his communication about scheduling and pricing, and did the job for the quoted price ahead of schedule! His rates were very reasonable and considerably lower than others I received bids with. You do need to have your own paint ready, but this was a minor inconvenience, and well worth the trade off. This is a review I was hoping would be positive. Unfortunately I cannot give a good rating. Bryan and his brother Alejandro are very nice. Recently they did quite a bit of work for us including replacing our back splash, moving our oven, and painting our cabinets. Overall we're good with the work but certainly not at a quality you'd expect from licensed contractors, which I assume they are not. Our biggest problems came after they finished the work. We discovered they broke one of our cabinet drawers. I messaged Bryan who said he would come back to fix it. After numerous attempts, scheduling and rescheduling, I realized he has no intention of coming back to fix it. Another problem we found was they had a lot of overspray on the paint. I asked him beforehand if we needed to remove items from the cabinets and he said no. Finding out after that many of our dishes and small appliances in the cabinets have paint on them. He also got paint on our concrete for which he promised to come back to power wash but he never did. I like Bryan and Alejandro and the prices they offered were very competitive but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. To date, Bryan has not contacted me back to fix the broken drawer or clean my concrete patio. It's been at least 3 weeks now. So if you're considering Bryan, remember the price may be good but really pay attention to the details as they are doing the work. read more

I made an appointment with Bryan for a complete house rehab in City of Colton. The appointment was for 10 in the morning this Friday, he asked for this time. Nobody showed up 1015, 1030 no car now he will not answer the phone. This was a $50,000 possible job for him that he lost out on for not being a responsible contractor. I at least a respectable contractor would have called and said I am going to be late or I cannot make it for whatever reason, but car. But no now he is hiding like an embarrassed little child. Brian was pretty fast and flexible at responding. I had him do some drywall and underlayment before I tile a floor. His final product was decent, not the greatest but good. You get what you pay for. My major issue was that Brian wasn't there for the last day, just one of his relatives, to finish the job. When I contacted Brian that there were holes in the wall, uneven surfaces, etc, he said he would come back out and fix it. He never did. He gave me a day he would come, I contacted him that exact day, and he never contacted me back or came to fix the mistakes he left. They also poured some Quik Level in my rocks, which as you can imagine got them all stuck together. I ended up fixing the holes and uneven surfaces myself. read more
