This was my second visit to Feel Good Market, and I can honestly say it won't be my last! My first visit was for the Soap 101 class, and it was everything I had been looking for. Christy is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, and it's obvious she's passionate about sharing her craft. I learned so much while having an absolute blast. It was the perfect girls' outing, and I left feeling confident and excited to begin making soap on my own. Today I returned for the Foot Scrub class, and it was just as enjoyable. It was such a pleasure seeing Christy and her wonderful staff again. Everyone is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions--not only during the classes but about all of the products they carry. The store itself is charming and full of unique handmade items, and they even have a beautiful selection of plants. It's honestly hard to walk out without buying at least one! They accept both cash and credit/debit cards, which is convenient, and parking couldn't be easier. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the store with easy nose-in spaces, making it very accessible. If you're looking for a fun, hands-on experience or want to learn from someone who truly knows her craft, I can't recommend Feel Good Market enough. Whether you're taking a class or simply stopping in to browse, you'll be welcomed like an old friend. What a hidden gem! Everything from the friendly and helpful staff, to how amazing the store smells, and all the fun healthy products- it's super fun to check this place out! We got some bottle cleaners for our yetis and also some non-plastic combs and brush. They have cute hair clips and the soap just smells amazing! They have cute kids toys and housewares that are awesome and sustainable. I love that I can fill up jars of my own soap. You can also make perfume and find cool unique gifts for your friends. There's chocolates at the register that aren't cheap but sound delicious! I'm happy to recommend this place as it is fun to go to and there's a little something for everyone. This was my first foray into this world, although friends have been subscribing to these types of products during travels and eventually have incorporated these small tweaks and changes into their daily lives. "D" was an absolute "D"elight as a guide through the shop, offering demonstrations of sustainable hair and hand products, and sharing her experience with the products I was curious about, namely the sheets of laundry soap and a stain removal stick. There were a lot of products to peruse, including health and beauty, household cleaning and cooking, a kids section, as well as some beautiful locally made jewelry - which I pried myself away from due to a time schedule. LOL I can see a number of these products being incorporated into daily use, but also as vacation necessities to save on space and spills. "D" was sure to drop a card in my bag and let me know they do ship from this location and can blend fragrances from the essential oils they use. Any number of items would make great hostess gifts to keep in mind for the upcoming festive season. I genuinely love this shop and will continue supporting them, which is why I'm disappointed with how a recent product issue was handled. I purchased three candles of the same scent, and after burning the first one only about halfway, the wick broke. As a result, the candle will no longer stay lit, leaving me with more than half of an 8 oz candle unusable. At $24 per candle, this was frustrating, especially since the issue appears to be a product defect rather than normal wear and tear. When I reached out, the proposed solution was to purchase a replacement for $19 ($4 off for a refill plus an additional 10% discount). While I appreciate the gesture and understand the challenges of running a small business, it doesn't feel like a fair resolution given that more than half of the original candle remains and cannot be used due to a defective wick. I want to emphasize that the staff members I spoke with were kind, professional, and helpful throughout the interaction. My disappointment is not with them, but with the company's decision on how to address the issue. I still love this store and plan to continue shopping here, but I hope management will consider more customer-friendly solutions when a product defect occurs. Not only do they make their own soap bars, solid dish soaps, bath bombs, and shower steamers, but they are the most fragrant and scientifically-backed I've ever found. I know this because they offer soap making classes at three different levels, and I've taken them and seen the science. Everything else in their store is organic and from an eco-conscious small business. Some of my other favorites are the Little Seed farm deodorant, the Mother Earth silicone dish covers, Farm Girl reusable napkins, and the Poppy & Pout lip scrub. They sell every variety of bottle you can imagine, and they have a community bin where people donate clean empty containers that others can use for free. They also have a rewards system and the sweetest staff you can possibly imagine. The owner Christy is there frequently and loves what she does more than anyone I've ever met. The owner must pay close attention to her business; the products are current the employees have excellent customer service and the place is always so clean and welcoming. I'm not sure how the store associates are trained, but I would ask that they stop trying to make extra conversation with shoppers. Asking if we need help or offer to assist when we do have a question is appreciated, but when someone chases me around the store commenting on any product I pick up to look at gets irritating. I actively try to avoid the staff because I get stuck in a conversation I don't want to have - I just want to read the label on the jar and not hear how amazing it is. I want to be left alone, enjoy the beautiful shop and look around in peace. I was asked twice if I have plans for the rest of the day while trying to pick a deodorant. My daughter and I stopped by here to see if they carried Routine brand deodorant (they don't). What they DO carry is Little Seed Farm deodorant, which is similarly amazing! This is a bulk refill store, so not only do they sell this deodorant (and lots of other things) prepackaged, they also sell it in bulk so you can just try a little or refill your existing containers. Which we love! They sell so many other things - soaps, cleaning supplies, personal care items, you name it. The staff is lovely and so helpful! I've recently been trying to become more eco friendly with my products and was shopping at another eco store, but they temporary closed. Needless to say, I'm happy Feel Good Market is here! The employees are so sweet and nice. They are very helpful and informative in helping you search for the right products. I am sensitive dry skin and eczema. The employee chatted with me and showed me all the options that worked best. I brought a few travel bottles and sampled their lotion, body wash and laundry sheets. The lotion is amazing! Its thick, moisturizing and doesn't leave an oily feel. The body wash is good and very foamy. You can add a scent to the unscented refills for $1. The laundry sheets are becoming a favorite! Its very easy to use and my clothes come out feeling clean. Feel Good Market also hosts soap making, scrubs and candle classes. Feel Good Market is a wonderfully local, women-owned business near Downtown Redlands. They are located on the "other side" of State Street, that is... West State Street, on the other side of the defunct Redlands Mall. If you still don't know where it is. Know where Saverino's is? You'd better! Only the home of some of the best sandwiches in the IE! Yeah, so, its two doors down from there... and a few more doors down from The Breakfast Shack. Anyway, if you like Mozarts, or have a woman in your life who does; The Feel Good Market is a wonderful place to shop. I feel they are spiritually related. Whereas Mozarts is mostly home decor, jewelry, and clothes, Feel Good is all about pampering yourself or your loved one...in an eco-sustainable way! Much of the offerings here are ecologically friendly, bio-degradable as well as body-friendly. You can make your own body wash with a variety of scents.. that you measure out in either your own bottle or you can buy one of their reusable bottles for you to use and re-use. Shampoos, conditioners, fragrance oils, candles, cosmetics, and all kinds of other "smell pretties" (as my wife calls them) can be found here. One of our faves is a body wash we had made that smells like the spice gumdrops of long ago. Makes your body smell soooo good! What also helps set this place apart is the employees. The workers here are always so friendly and helpful when it comes to guiding the customer and making recommendations. Its always a pleasure to interact with them. The prices of their wares is a bit pricey, but I wouldn't say they are exorbitant at all. Remember, you're paying for quality here. But quality it is! And the service is great as well. Even if you aren't interested in stuff like this, we all know someone who is. I bought my wife a gift card for Christmas from here last year and she loved it! Love this place for their clothes soap sheets. They are only 42 cents each and it's for 2 loads. First time in this store the owner gave me a sample and after using I'm now hooked. Today I got a sample of the toothpaste tabs and I'm sure we'll love those too. You can bring in your own containers to refill soaps, dish soaps etc. I love that it's organic and you don't have to worry about chemicals.
