I had purchased my home about 6 months ago and had several plumbing issues I wanted addressed. After a recommendation from a close friend, I called Feichtner Plumbing to schedule an appointment. Even though I was not in any rush I was still offered several options and was able to get an appointment within a few days. He came within the time frame I was given and called prior to his arrival as promised. We discussed all of my concerns and was given several solutions, all of which I could easily do myself. He was very honest and knowledgeable. One of my concerns was an old water softener I was trying to get working. He stated they don't fix water softeners but he'd take a look at it anyway. He advised me that the it was an old unit and that I would need to call someone that specializes in water softeners and even offered suggestions on who I should call. As we were wrapping up the appointment I asked about installing a garbage disposal in my kitchen. He quickly gave me a price and was able to install it right then and there. I called Feichtner Plumbing to fix a job that was started by another 'plumbing' company. I called Feichtner's main number and ended up talking to Dan Feichtner. The OTHER company had quoted a bunch of other work (water heater, new supply lines etc etc) and had also ran a camera. But after a few appointments the clogged drain was still....clogged. Dan wanted to understand the problem so I provided all of the info I had received from the other company. He was upfront in saying he wasn't sure he would be able to get a guy out same day HOWEVER a window opened up and not only was the problem fixed it was done in one appointment and quickly (his guy was there in less than a few hours and the work took less than 45 minutes). Everything the other company took apart was put back together professionally by Feichtner's plumber and obviously quickly. He managed the timing of my tenant and his guys. Dan and Feichtner Plumbing is the best plumbing company I have worked with. He and his guys have done work at a few of my properties and they are always upfront and more than reasonable on price, honest about a fix, get it right the first time and extremely professional. received a wonderful letter from Cincinnati Water Works informing me that I was responsible for a water leak coming from the cap on the sidewalk in front of my house. It had to be repaired in 21 days, or they were shutting off my water. I was leaving for vacation the next day, and had no idea what to do. I called a plumber who happened to advertise in my church bulletin from my old town, and coincidentally, his office was in my new neighborhood. I can not tell you the relief I felt when he assured me I could go on vacation, he would turn my water off for me at no charge (on a Sunday!!), and then fix the leak. I seriously was going to cancel the trip, as I couldnt go on a vacation with a water leak. But he professionally set me at ease, I gave him access to the house, and it was all taken care of when I returned home. He had to lay a new pipe into the house, and the excavation was minimal. I had neighbors tell me they could destroy my front yard, front orch or anything else in the way. I came home to some disarray, but by and large, they took the care to not ruin plants, bushes, and even tried to preserve a 120 year old wrought iron fence. After getting a couple local recommendations from neighbors, friends, and colleagues, I still wasn't convinced their choices would have been right for me. So, I went with my gut and chose Feichtner based on reviews here. Typically, I don't agree with Yelp reviews, but these were spot on! John was professional, pleasant to talk to, and didn't waste time! In fact, he was in my driveway 10 minutes before the appointment time! When my son decided to do a pull up on one of the basement pipes, that was an expense I wasn't prepared for, and I had tons of anxiety over it! Not only did they do this quickly to save labor costs, but it wasn't nearly what I thought it would be! Also, they bill you, so you don't have to come up with the money right away. The only sticking point for me was they couldn't really tell me how much it was going to be. I'd prefer to at least have an idea so I know what I'll have to pay but, the bill was stamped with payment options, so I'm confident I could have at least done that if it was a larger job. read more

During the process of selling our house, we suspected we may have low water pressure and needed a plumber to come inspect and correct, if needed. I called Dan at 9 AM, and to my surprise he told me he could have someone over later in the day. By 10 AM, one of his plumbers, Colin, was already at my house! Great turnaround time. He inspected our pressure, and to my surprise informed us our pressure was WAY too high! He told me right away what it would take to fix, provided an estimate, and told he me could do it right then and there. Less than an hour later, I had a brand new pressure reducing valve and my water pressure was perfectly calibrated. All related issues went away immediately. The final piece was a written report that I could provide to our house buyers. Dan was happy to provide this within a 48hr turnaround, and gave me exactly what I needed to close our deal. I called & spoke to Dan (the owner) He was very courteous and friendly. I explained my situation in regards to my shower handle (the water was not shutting off all the way). I scheduled an appointment that fit my schedule with kids. Dan was very accommodating. When his technician Collin arrived to our home. I was met with a huge smile and a warm greeting. He even took a few minutes to greet our puppies. Collin from the very beginning of the shower job, explained everything step by step. But a problem came up that he explained could happen with old parts and it did. Collin called another technician to assist. Greg was also very friendly and courteous. I was in a real pinch, my pipes coming out of my sump pump were froze, and the transfer pump i had bought was burning out and quite frankly, my wife and I were tired of climbing in and out of our crawl space. My wife called early in the morning and Feichtner Bros were there by the afternoon. Their customer service was excellent. He gave me several options, the majority of them being options that included me fixing it myself and paying little cost to them, although I did decide to have them fix the issue for me since i was in a time pinch. Very professional, friendly, prompt and thorough. I called them earlier this week to see if they could come out to check on a leak from our water heater. I asked for a specific day and they were able to accommodate that for me. I received a phone call when he was on his way and he arrived at the time I was given. He introduced himself and explained how everything worked on the water heater. He explained what was causing the leak and how he was going to fix it. I was able to get a quote over the phone without a service charge and was provided additional information when trying to diagnose some of the issues we were having. I've called Feichtner Plumbing twice for plumbing issues. Both times I could not have been happier with the service. The most recent call was to clear a drain line clog. The line originates at the Kitchen sink runs down a outside wall, ties into a Wet bar sink and finally dumps into the Main sewage trunk line. Dan called me about 25 minutes before he was to arrive. Upon arrival we discussed what I had tried to do to fix the problem, and within 20 minutes he had the clog removed and we were flushing the line for a test. This drain line works like new again. We used Feichtner Plumbing to replace our water heater and we couldn't have asked for better service. We are still within the warranty period for the house we just purchased and I wanted a quick job. Within days I had a new water heater and a check in the mail from the warranty service. The water heater is a trusty State, and the installation price was excellent. Colin was willing to quickly do all the steps required by the warranty service and answered all of our questions so well. Spoke to Gregory on a different issue and received same level of service. We just purchased a home and needed to have the shower faucet valve upgraded. We called our home warranty as we didn't know any plumbers in the area. They botched the job so bad I asked them to stop work and called Feichtner. Feichtner assured me that they could fix it after sending them photos. Today they showed up and executed the job like pros. Colin spent way more time than was initially estimated and broke a brand new auger on what turned out to be a chunk of concrete stuck in my drain pipe. Awesome. I made a bonehead move and drilled into a pipe while I was trying to install a shelving unit in a closet. Next thing you know, we've got water leaking into the basement. I called up Feichtner Bros on Thursday morning and they came by 1 hour later. Dan found and fixed the problem in about 2 hours. Their customer service was outstanding. Extremely personable.
