I was quoted $190-290 for a kitchen sink clog. I had to wait 5 days for the appointment. When they got here, it only took an hour to complete the job, but the company tried to charge me well over $400, saying it was a complicated job! Definitely felt taken advantage of, and there was a lack of transparency. They acted like they were doing me a favor to honor the $290 quote. I would not recommend them to anyone. They said they would come back to look at the vent, but I never heard from them again. Good riddance. read more

In late June my mother's water heater went out. We shopped around and came across King's Plumbing. We asked them to come give an estimate. We paid their $75 fee, believing they would be good to work with. This was based on their high reviews on Yelp. I was not able to be there when the tech came. It was just my retired mother. They told my mother the water pressure was too high and she would need additional repairs on top of the water heater. This included knocking out part of a wall. They gave a high estimate. She called me and I advised her to not have them do the work. Once I arrived at her home I checked the pressure. It was within reasonable range. The other repairs cited were not necessary. To me, it seemed like the tech was trying to take advantage of my mother, thinking she would not know any better. After this experience we wrote a negative review on Yelp. The tech came back to my mother's home, unannounced, and gave her $75 cash and told her to take the review down. This was very concerning to us and we were scared for her safety. We did not take the review down. But, we also did not edit the review to add these details in fear of retaliation. Time passed and we thought that would be the end of it. But on October 16th, the review was taken down by Yelp. We can only assume this was due to King's Plumbing requesting its removal. We are posting this new review because we believe King's Plumbing is manipulating reviews. People deserve to hear of our firsthand experience with this company. King's Plumbing is willing to do shady things to get new business. We highly recommend going with someone else for your plumbing work. TLDR: King's Plumbing practices shady business practices including taking advantage of vulnerable people and manipulating reviews. Avoid this company at all cost. read more

We have had Kings plumbing do many things over the last 4 years. they put a new water heater in. fixed some leaky pipes we had. ran a water line to my new fridge and also put in 2 new toilets. Our garbage disposal went belly up after ten years or so, leaking from the bottom so I knew it was shot. I called the next morning, and that afternoon King's came out and got it replaced, even though they also had to take care of a business emergency call. They did what they said they'd do, professionally and well, when they said they'd do it, for a reasonable price. You can't beat that. read more

Outstanding service from a professional crew at a reasonable price. I had a water line in the basement spring a leak and called these guys at 7PM. By 9PM the pipe was fixed and they were on their way. The repair was in a hard to reach spot but they went the extra mile to get the job done without having to cut into the drywall in the finished part of our basement. Sam saved my holiday weekend! After a do-it-myself project went the wrong way, I called Sam on Friday of Memorial Day weekend at 4:50pm. He answered! Even though he was so busy and had 5 other houses to tend to, he added me to his list!!! I texted him a photo of my problem. I basically cut off the entire water supply to my house! I called late in the day because I was unable to re-light the pilot light on my water heater. He returned my call right away and came out the next morning. He was able to reset the controller on my water heater. Inspected the overflow tank and recommended it be replaced. He came back a couple of hours later and completed the repair. I appreciated how quickly he responded to my initial call, how quickly he was able to fit me into the schedule and how quickly they completed the repair. BE CAREFUL! ASK THE PRICE UP FRONT Kings replaced a leaking T in my basement on a weekday during normal business hours and charged me $455.00. The repair took less than 40 minutes and used less than $10 in materials. Normal cost for a job like this would have been around $100. Given the same day service I expected an upcharge ($50-$75) but charging over 4 times the price is simply outrageous in my opinion. Don't let these guys rip you off. read more

My Wife and I are new home owners experiencing our first winter in our first house. We had a pipe burst late in the evening last night and were frantically attempting to locate and shut our water off to prevent a flooded house. Despite the late hour King's was the only company to answer our call. Not only were they responsive during our time of crisis but went above and beyond to stay in communication as we tried to get the water off - having us text pictures of valves and walking us through the different possibilities and places to look. When we had difficulties getting the old rusty valve to budge they stayed calm in our crisis and helped us find other alternative options to get the water off and as a result, we were able to have an emergency utility department representative out in a short time to shut off our flooding water lines. They were courteous and possibly the only reason we aren't filing an insurance claim for water damage and flooding this morning. When talking to them the next morning, informing them we had another company in route to fix the issue, they were incredibly understanding and supportive. They even insisted that we don't pay them anything despite our offers and their life saving help! 10/10 Would recommend. Their conduct, communication and care for their customer is beyond evident in how they interact with and help those reaching out to them. King's is a level above the rest, a blessing from above in an industry that would make it easy for them to take advantage of others yet they don't, rather they are unprecedented in care and empathy! read more

Our neighbor recommended King's Plumbing. They were very quick to respond to our initial call to get a sump pump replaced with a new pump with battery backup. Scheduling was quick and flexible and very competitively priced. About a week later we had another issue and they were able to squeeze us in and resolve the issue very quickly.
