Enter Dr. Friedberg the following week who, after some manipulation of my foot, and some questions concluded that I had a fascia tear that would probably take a few months to heal. Man was I glad I went to Dr. Friedberg! My foot did take a few months to heal, but he was nothing but kind, gentle, and professional through the entire process. He offered tips and tricks on how to regain strength and reduce pain, showed me my MRI images, and explained things in very simple and detailed ways. We left a couple of messages on their voicemail before we took a Lyft to their office. Yelp showed their office opened at 7am. Jose, the security guard in the building was friendly as we waited patiently for a call back. The remote receptionist returned our call around 7:30am and said the earliest appt would be 8:40am. We took it and waited patiently... IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Colleen gave my daughter: Exam Adjustment Massage Laser red light Dry needle acupuncture ... exercises to do at home. She said that she would like to see her again in a couple of days. My daughter's neck flexibility and SMILE at the end of this appointment said it all. I don't think I have enough hours in the day to write all I want about Doctor Millis. After a very, very long and painful 6 years I got a referral to see Millis in Boston and that he did this procedure on young adult hips (that's me)...and he would fix me. I sent my x-rays ahead of time so he could determine if I was a candidate to see him and I was, duh. So his next consultation was 2 months away, booked! Long, long story short I saw him and booked my surgery that day for a few months later to have a PAO, total hip reconstruction surgery. As the time got closer and I did more research I got a little nervous. On my way to Boston the day before surgery, he called me HIMSELF. He is just the gentlest, greatest, most calming man I have met. ANY worry I have, he just shrugs it off (not in a bad) telling me that's not a big deal we'll fix it. He just makes me feel so incredibly comfortable and relaxed. His team is fantastic and if someone slacks off, they're gone. It's his way or the highway. He's the best, yes he's older...not as old as you think...but he knows hands down what he's doing, goes to conferences and stays on top of the techniques. I am 2+ years post on both hips and I feel amazing. My right hip was very bad and a "revision" may have been in the future and yes, it is. I'm having my third PAO in a few weeks and I am SO excited...it's a traumatic surgery, but I feel 110% normal and can do ANYTHING. They put a stent in and all last week did the work up for the clearing of her arteries. Blood test ekg scan blood work and the cardiac doctor penciled her in for a caf this past Monday. I did not know they rotate out doctors. In comes this Anne Marie Anosropoulos. She sees my mom for all of ten minutes and declines the precedure We did everything needed to get her to do the caf . Come Monday. They switch to another doctor. They are now saying no. They said they were bringing in a third party for independent review. That was bullshit . We have waited all day and exhausted. They rotate doctors so you are not talking to the one following her the first week. This place is more running around with these young people and put zero care into the patients. She had no history or knowledge or anything. My mom didn't have an iv. At the end of the day she comes in and asks. I said why. Where were you all all day ? She than proscribed nausea medicine that could cause another heart I code r. I asked her to out in place dnr. It still haven't been done. I'm not happy. We wasted all last week. Why didn't they keep her in urology. She still has a huge d Kidney stone. Okaxe is pathetic . Go to mass general. Please avoid this place at all costs. They don't care at all and I'm exhausted trying to get their attention. Come here if you want a family member to die. They care more about teaching f than the actual patient.
