I love this salon! Becca is incredible, it's not easy to move to a new state and find a new stylist...but I hit the jackpot. My son sees Ally and she is wonderful (his hair has never looked better) and my Daughter sees Maria! They are great at calling with reminders, and helping us schedule ahead as in season can get really busy. I know they make money helping move Aveda products, but none of us have ever felt pressured to purchase products. I will say I did buy moose, conditioner and shampoo, about a year ago and still have them! A little goes a long way! read more

I paid over $350 for my color and cut. Cut was the worst I have ever had. I had to ask for the front to be cut even and then I went home and still had to fix it. I haven't colored my hair in 3 years nor do I ever even use heating elements . My hair is super long and healthy until November 23rd with stylist Valeria . She did a great job on my cut just the week before. I asked for a Balayage which was very subtle . I have long black hair !! I brought 4 pictures to show the colors I wanted , and the look I was going for . She stated it would take about 3 hours I ended up in her chair for about 5-6hours instead. I didn't do a blow dry cause she was taking too long and my hubby had to go work. I go home and blow dry my hair and I have strinks through the front of my entire head in copper brown .Which looks like it was put through my entire hair . I had no transition in colors and only that color . I called the next day on the 24th and explained how I can not have my hair like this for thanksgiving it looked terrible I looked like a damn zebra with copper stripes.That is not what I paid for . The picture didn't even do justice on how bad the strinks were. They booked me an appointment immediately in Naples the following day . The stylist Monica was very sweet as well as the manager whom was very prompt to assist and help . Monica let Me know that Valeria had to mess Up my Formula cause she can tell she added Gold color which the formula already had. My hair now looks yellowish -orange with almost grayish white at the tips . My hair is now fried and my ends look terrible . My hair looks like it's been done for 3-6 months . I called the Naples location The next day once I let the color settle in and left a message with Monica and the manager . NOBODY ever called me back . I called Aveda again in Estero and asked to speak with manager and I wanted a refund cause at this point I don't trust them with my hair !! Zoey the manager called me back and might I add very poor customer service , unethical ! It's a joke ! She never once apologized , she instead tried to blame me that i wanted this blonde . Opinion if I thought her work was awful ! She brushed me off and told me she had another person to help and would call me back with Compensation. When I called her again she also never took accountability for the mistake or even tried to fix it . Instead she said I wanted blonde in my hair and that's why my hair looks blonde . LOL. It's a joke here ! I asked if she would like for me to send her pictures of my hair and what i asked for she said NO!! She very nonchalant when it comes to customer service and her own staff errors !! I've been to Aveda in other locations and I've never seen this level of unprofessionalism . read more

Customer service is definitely their number one priority. Stephanie has been coloring my hair for a few months now. She took me from no color to a beautiful balayage & now into more fall colors. Everyone compliments my coloring & I'm truly in love with the Aveda products. She even showed me how to use a curling Iron ! I have been looking for a hair stylist for over a year now since my long-time stylist moved out of state. I have been to so many, too many, salons looking for that one stylist who "gets me.". several stylists have been good, some really good, but none really took the time to have a dialogue prior to the start of any work - until JESSIE! I took a chance, walked into Felix Andrew salon in Coconut Point and hit the lottery. Jessie is personable yet focused on her job. She ran her fingers through my hair to feel for texture, look at the color, the style. she asked me what my goal was. she knew immediately the color # I needed, she LISTENED to my concerns about a small area of hair thinning, styled my hair so that it would not be noticeable until the hair grew back, which she assured me was already doing so. We had fun getting to know one another and my hair came out PERFECT! the cherry on top was the beautiful and sweet manager (I apologize for not getting her name) who massaged my arms and hands while getting rinsed. I watched her interacting with her staff and other customers and she was genuine, engaging, and on top of all things. looking forward to my next visit! read more

Went to my appointment today - have been rescheduled twice because of a stylist illness. No problem. BUT they did not to put my rescheduled appointment into their calendar, and now I am being rescheduled a THIRD time. Time time, inexcusable because it was stupid. AND this is the second occurrence of this type in 6 months with this location. That time I only had to come back twice because they forgot to put it into their calendar. Worst of all, a grudging "well, i can fit you in on Friday" by a new receptionist, while the normal front office person just turned around and walked away. No apologies. Customer service should be a part of the entire salon experience - and this place surely has none in the front office. read more

Another amazing haircut and color by Taylor!!! I haven't cut my hair in years due to previous bad haircuts. I showed Taylor a picture and though I'm no Carrie Underwood it looked just as fabulous. She is talented, efficient, and listens to her customers. She is the best stylist I have ever had and I've been getting my hair done since I was a teenager so that's a myriad of stylists. The best part is that she is reasonable compared to other Aveda salons. Next time you want to feel fabulous ask for Taylor!! read more

I have searched and searched for a place with even a clue on how to first of all cut hair and offer some sort of watered down customer service (it has gotten bad people) I tried a business that was Men's haircuts only, I am a regular attender (every 5 weeks) and tip. After a year they struggled to remember that I have a son and not a daughter ( he was born while I was a customer....therefore my one stylist was aware of this) and always asked me how I wanted my haircut? Really? After 12 months, you might have a clue. Onto my second choice, where my wife was getting her hair done, a higher dollar establishment but I had no issues as long as I can get a haircut and service. The service was great, however the hours (of the shop and my stylist) eventually proved to be their undoing as I had to actually switch stylists multiple times and look elsewhere as not to wait 2 months + My wife discovered Felix Andrew Salons and AMY! I am in love! (with the establishment, not my stylist LOL) First of all, I am connoisseur of fine customer service and this place serves it up on a silver platter, I have NEVER made it through the front door without being greeted immediately and offered a beverage (as well as my stylist eagerly awaiting me). The entire process from neck and scalp massage to the pre and post rinses and hot towel treatment and a stylist who remembers my name, my kids names, what I am doing, what my family is doing??? This is haircut heaven and with their hours, I am NEVER without an appointment, 7 days a week! So great is this salon that my wife has followed me over and uses my same stylist! Quite happy I have found this and highly recommend this to anyone who is particular in quality and demands a high level of customer service. read more

Madison was terrific! I was looking for a master stylist for a color and cut. I came in for a consultation and was able to obtain color info from my stylist up north. Madison matched my color. Madison is very precise and thorough. She made sure color was applied evenly and that the cut was perfect. She even gave me a hand massage. This is an Aveda salon, The woman at the desk greeted me in a professional manner. I inquired about someone to do a cut & highlights. She recommended Roberto and he was awesome! I am writing a review for the new location in Fort Myers. The staff was very accommodating, the salon is hip and great looking. I walked in on promotion, but have been an Aveda customer for many years. Taylor is very sweet and really proficient. I scheduled a cut and before I left scheduled a follow up for full highlights. Rita did the most amazing job with my hair at Felix Andrew (Aveda) salon in Coconut Point. My hair was pretty damaged when I came in and they took the upmost care in making it beautiful again. Rita spent a good 4 hours working with me on my hair and not one second was wasted. Absolutely beautiful. Everyone in the salon was so kind as well and they really care about their clients. (Between having great tea and coffee, massages, and even gave us free samples) The products they carry are fantastic as well! This was my very first time going to FA. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted and asked if I would like a beverage. All of the staff was very polite and knowledgeable. Brooke cut my hair today and she is so fab!!!!! Took the time to feel and ask questions about my hair type and what I wanted out of the cut before she even began my scalp massage. Just had a bleach root touch up and I specifically asked for no brassiness. I am platinum blonde. After the tone she said she needed to do a little more tone I think she didn't leave it in long enough. She then blow dries it and parts of my roots look great, other parts especially my part is so brassy. She then tells me to go get Shimmer lights shampoo to fix it. I'm sorry I just paid $100 to have you do that for me. If your a blonde I would not recommend them. read more

I've been going to Taylor for two years now. I'm seasonal and was very concerned about finding someone here I could trust. My hair is long and color treated. I have been so happy with Taylor and this salon. They call with a reminder before every appointment, the salon is clean and calming. It may take some time to get an appointment but it's worth it. My wife was pleased with her haircut. I however was not pleased with my haircut. The Stylist obviously knew nothing about current hairstyles and did not listen to any of my instructions.
