    KG aka Kristen, has hands of an angel. I did my bridal hair with her, without a trial. I showed her 1 picture and she literally took a glimpse at it and executed it perfectly!!! She is so welcoming, very sweet, and is amazing at what she does! She even helped me get into my dress. And took some pictures of me near the fountain. Go to her for any of your event hair needs!

    This salon used to be great (that's why they get two starts, not one) until their good stylists all left! I went in to have a consultation for extensions after I wanted to try something other than tape-ins & to see what type would be best for my goals. My MAIN goal was to keep my hair pretty healthy and try to grow it out. The woman told me that she recommends the sew-in weft method because it's the "safest" method when trying to grow out your hair. She explained that some of the other methods I looked at (i-tip, keratin bonds, etc) could create tension spots, or small bald spots, when the weight of the hair is localized to a much smaller area. The stylist also recommended a Brazilian blowout since I have naturally curly hair and it would be easier to manage. She seemed somewhat knowledgeable and I decided to move forward, pay for the hair, and book my install. When I got to the install, I decided I wanted to add the Brazilian blowout if she had time. She didn't have time that day to do it but suggested to come back in 2-3 days to have it done (this would be after the extensions are installed??). So she does the install pretty quickly, not painlessly, and they were definitely !not! the length we discussed. Although they were extremely long, the color match was perfect. She told me my head might be sore that night from the weight/tension and should be fine in a day or two. I've had tape in extensions before and they were a little sore, like a light headache but nothing intolerable. NOT THE CASE. I was in SO much pain for two nights that I couldn't put any sort of pressure on my head and slept sitting up on the couch. By night three they were getting a little bit better but still extremely uncomfortable. After about a week and also noticing the hair was not blended :)) , I called one of my friends who is a stylist to come look at my head bc they still hurt and were uncomfortable. She looked at my hair and said, "Oh my god, who did this to you??" She had never seen an install done in such a way. My friend said that it looked like she blended two different techniques and make up her own. I had her take them out right there and then and I've never experienced such a euphoric feeling of relief. I later learned, from my regular hairdresser, that when she was "blending" the extensions to my real hair, she cut INTO my hair so I have extremely uneven layers on the top of my head :)) PLEASEEEE SAVE YOUR MONEY

    Not overly satisfied with my experience at Beehive. Though the salon was very clean and nicely decorated, the service was not friendly or hospitable. My stylist was unapologetically 25 minutes late to my appointment. He did his best but I didn't feel like my hair looked scarcely different from what I walked in with. Though I asked for a blow out as a test run for my engagement photos, my hair looked stringy and unpolished. I will not be returning for my photoshoot or using this salon again.

    I won't be returning to Beehive Beauty Salon for future services. My review is just that, it's to warn others of the service I did or did not receive, the experience I had as a paying customer, to help hold Beehive accountable for their actions and hopefully Beehive can find a way to use this feedback to help improve their services in the future. I had booked an appointment at the Beehive Beauty Salon to have my hair done and informed the receptionist that I wanted to go from my current dirty blonde hair to lighter/platinum blonde but was unsure if I needed highlights or full color. The receptionist scheduled a full color and told me to discuss it with the stylist when I arrived. When I spoke with the stylist, I showed her a picture of my previous platinum blonde hair and explained that I wanted to achieve that look again. I wasn't sure if I needed highlights or full color to achieve this look. I felt my current hair was too dark and weighing down my face and I wanted to brighten up my hair again. The stylist said she was going to mix hair color. She came back and applied a full head color mix, and said It would need to sit for 30 min. I marked that time and began reading, when she came back 45 min later (again marking the time), to take me back to wash out the dye from my hair. While shampooing my hair, I noticed that she was frequently separating my hair to check the root color. She left without any explanation, and I was unsure of what was happening or why she left. I decided to use my camera phone to examine my hair, and that's when I noticed that the roots had a red/orange hue. My stylist then returned accompanied by another stylist. They concluded that my scalp was too warm and recommended applying a 10-minute solution to help fix the issue. The other stylist mentioned that the resulting color would be lovely. The stylist applied the 10-minute solution and then washed out my hair before taking me back to her chair. Once I was seated, she noticed that I was examining my hair in the mirror and inquired about my thoughts on the outcome. I expressed that my hair had a copper tone, which was not the result I had anticipated or asked to achieve. The stylist acknowledged that the copper tones were a result of using a full color dye, rather than highlights, which she said I had expressed a preference against highlights. However, I couldn't recall ever mentioning that I didn't want highlights. So I began rethinking our conversation, to try and recall why or when I would have said that. I did remember showing a photo of platinum blonde hair and explaining that was the look I wanted to achieve. The stylist then suggested that I could come back and get highlights at my next appointment, as she continued to dry my hair. When she finished drying my hair, she asked for my thoughts again, and I expressed that I was still unhappy with the outcome, as my hair was now a very copper tone. She reiterated that I could come back for highlights. They\ stylist walked me up to the reception desk to pay and shared with the other ladies at the reception desk that I wasn't happy with my hair color. I clarified why I wasn't satisfied, and the stylist suggested that I could schedule an appointment to have it corrected. I said that I would need to think about that, as I needed time to process what had just happened. However, I did know that I did not want to go through the hassle of coming back again and I didn't have any confidence that it would be done correctly the second time. Despite verbalizing my displeasure with the outcome, none of the receptionists attempted to call the manager or ask if I wanted to speak with one. In hindsight, I should have insisted on speaking with the manager at that moment. I should have taken the time to provide feedback directly to the owner, instead of leaving to process my feelings. I paid for an incorrect service and tipped the hairstylist because I felt she did do work... but in hindsight I should not have "rewarded" unsatisfactory work. I could kick myself for not stopping at that moment and saying... no, this isn't right. While I can "live" with the hair color I ended up with, it is not what I asked for, at all. After leaving the salon, I took some time to process my feelings. Upon arriving home directly from the salon, I called and left a message requesting that the owner to call me back at a more convenient time since she was unavailable at the moment. To my relief, the owner did call me back and asked me to share my experience so she could understand things from my perspective. I appreciated this gesture and proceeded to recount the story as I have shared in this review. While going through my story, the owner mentioned that the stylist had said that I had requested no highlights, but I reiterated that I had never told the stylist that. In fact, I had also shared a photo of my previous platinum blonde hair and indicated both verbally and visually that was my goal.

    If you want the best in the business for hair color, styling, extensions, eyelashes, skin care, teeth whitening, the salon is beautiful and there's a friendly atmosphere and a modern appeal with top of the line products. I get my hair colored and cut by Matthew and it always looks amazing and grows out nice. The stylist use top of the eco friendly products and professional tools and they offer so many different services. Their stylists are highly trained and super knowledgeable and friendly, so much fun to be around and love to visit the Beehive Beauty Co.

    I've been going to Beehive Beauty Company for several years now. They are, hands down, the BEST salon in Southwest Florida. Their customer service is outstanding and the atmosphere is exceptionally clean and welcoming. I only trust Beehive with my hair, so much so that I used their services for my wedding. I highly recommend coming to this salon for all of your beauty regime needs, they are beyond amazing!

    Matty is the best! I've gotten my hair done by him a couple times and also had him install extensions and he made my hair dreams came true! I absolutely love my hair every time he does it. He's so kind and truly listens to what you say when you have a vision in mind for you hair and executes that vision. I can't recommend him enough!!

    Adorable ambiance, everyone is so sweet and welcoming, and my stylist Matthew is phenomenal! He had great suggestions and took a lot of care with my dye transformation. Hands down five starts for Beehive and Matthew, and I'm excited to continue to be a client!

    As a current stylist here at this salon I'll always give it a 5 star rating but even that being said, the atmosphere, culture and happy fun vibes as well as the excellent service are many of the reasons I chose to leave my former salon and call this one home! We offer almost everything you could think of, from standard salon services, to Brazilian blowouts, lashes, a Dr. Who even comes in periodically for Botox and fillers as well as the newest edition to our salon even a tattoo artist!!! I've "been with" Hannah for many years now, once you finally find somebody good it is hard to let go, let me tell you. Prior to stumbling upon her, I had been eh, sorta happy with the other Brazillian experiences around the area. I've driven all over from Canton to Ann Arbor to Bham and back. It's not that the others aren't good, it's just that Hannah is better. She is comfortable to be around, which helps when you're halfnaked. The other thing that sets her apart is her technique and the products she uses - both make all the difference in a painful or near painless experience. Trust me on that. You wouldn't think it, but Hannah's brazillians truly don't hurt. Sure, there is the ocassional zing of discomfort, quickly remedied by some applied pressure from her palm. Though she is a full service studio (with the exception of men's intimates), she specializes in brows & brazillians. Brows are another thing that I value quality with and am super finicky about. I mean, it's Right On Your Face. It kinda matters.. I trust her with arguably the most important parts of my body (heh), and she completely deserves that trust. So yeah, if you are reading this, you are reading it for a reason, maybe you're looking to get started or just switch salons.. Therefore, I don't think I have to sell you on the benefits of waxing (rarely any regrowth, smooth perfection for weeks, not a task to do it yourself.. shall I go on)- rather I hope to have inspired you to give Hannah and her cute new studio a try. I promise you will not regret it.

I've been going to Natalia for almost a year and she is the BEST WAXER. I have friends who always ask me question because they've been wanting to get a Brazilian wax and I always tell them to go to Natalia because she takes so much care of her clients from asking of the wax is too hot, making sure they're comfortable, and tries her best to make it as painless as possible! I went to Angel because she had great Yelp reviews. Yes she is very nice but no she is NOT a good waxer. She didn't show me how my face looked while/after waxing which was really bizarre but I thought maybe just with the masks it's different? She left a good chunk of hair on my upper lip, like it looked like she missed half. There was also a ton of hair left in my nose. It was super frustrating because I had to go back and didn't realize it right away while I was there because she didn't show me (which is normal practice in Chicago). I also had a Brazilian done. I felt like she didn't wait for the wax to get tacky and during the waxing process I was kind of like oh that's more sticky than it should be - but didn't say anything. Now I'm actually having hair grow back (and noticed some spots she missed) two days later. This has literally never been a problem before - and like I said I have been a consistent waxer for 2+ years at EWC. I am still a huge fan of EWC but just not the location or maybe just not Angel? I only gave 2 stars because Avery was nice enough to fix the lip/nose wax and did a great job.

Well today I scheduled another 100 minute deep tissue massage. I asked the girl before I went in- is this massage covered by my membership? She said yes, and I wanted to be sure. Well I came out all relaxed and ready to only be responsible for the tip. I was told that my massage went over the membership cost firstly because it was 100 minutes not 80. I showed her the sign that read 129 dollars a month covers the 100 minute massage. Then she said that because it was a deep tissue massage, it went over. This makes no sense at all! I specifically asked if my membership would cover the massage I was getting that evening and I was told yes. Then all this other nonsense. I will report these people to the better business bureau and attorney general's office if they pursue this. I asked that they cancel my membership and now I am all nervous again! Money wasted!
