If you want to be treated as if you're the problem for asking for simplistic things like a straight part.. come here! If you want to have it look like a 14 year old with no training did your hair... come here! And most importantly if you want to waste an hour of your day... this is 100% your place. This salon caused me to be VERY LATE and nearly miss my event. Absolutely the worst salon I've ever been to. I asked for sleek coquette braids for a party. See the pics. Messy part, not sleek and super over textured. Ended up having to do my own hair on the way to my event. Throughout the process the stylist, Aaliyah didn't follow what I asked for. I said sleek regular braids, she suggested boho French, I said no... sleek, I need to be outside 5+ hours. It was really odd to me I showed her a photo and she brushed me off. Assumed she just finally understood.. but boy was I wrong. Also during this chatting period she let me know she doesn't like working at a salon and would rather do private hair and makeup bookings because "she can charge $300 for this basic hair" which I found to be super weird... I AM AT A SALON YOUR WORKING AT? Also what does your employer think about you telling me this? Anyway.. Finally see the end product and I'm horrified but I have no time to have her fix it so I figure I'll pay and leave and just never come back, hoping maybe I could fix it myself. However, the more I looked at my hair the worse it actually looked. I used their mirrors in reception and saw how drastically crooked my part was. The braids looked so shriveled and horrible in the daylight. When I was checking out I told the receptionist I wouldn't tip 20% because the part is crooked and the braids are not what I asked for. NOTE: I asked for nothing!! Simply said: I wanted to be transparent since I'm yelp elite and would leave a review that this was really bad service and styling for over $100. Told her I'm used to NYC and Miami pricing but for quality service, not this. Also told her I don't have time for the girl to fix my whole head, and I'm confused because the most BASIC aspect of the hairstyle is a straight line, which she could not do. She kept calling me "honey" "sweetie" and "girl" like I was a 6 year old... then acted like she'd do something. First she refunded me and said she'd call the manager... however she then came back and said never mind, gonna recharge you, and it'll be full price minus $20 because "that's just the pricing." Tried to make it about me not wanting to pay versus the genuinely trash quality they provided me. It's the first law of cosmetology school to learn STRAIGHT LINES, and parts, so weird that they thought it looked ok. For reference my NORMAL hairstylist gets a 20-50% tip from me on services, and sometimes 100% tip when she braids my hair. I was 100% targeted because I said I was unhappy and not going to tip the girl 20%. So to confirm, they wanted to charge me $95 plus tip for braids that were not what I asked for, and a part that looks like a teenager did my hair. When I explained that I'm disappointed that the part was super crooked and the style isn't what I asked for (couldn't see much while she did my hair and told her I didn't see well without glasses) they tried to act like I was the problem because I didn't have another hour to let her fix it. I even showed the stylist a photo of what I wanted.. it wasn't even close. I had them take the styling out of my hair and the girl was beyond rude, nasty and mean while doing so, also said she did what I wanted which I explained again I asked for sleek and not shriveled, and when I said I wanted a straight part she said "looks fine to me"! She pulled my hair and made this sooo uncomfortable. They had me leave the salon with texture spray, product and never even brushed out my hair. No offer to return my hair the way I came in, or even brush it. Left me looking a HOT mess on a weekend where hundreds are outside at the farmers market. I would avoid this place and garbage staff. The worst service I've ever had at a salon in Naples. These weirdos genuinely had a boner for being nasty and sending me out the door looking like a mess. Weirdest experience ever. Go to blue water salon for great service, excellent braids and party hair, and to be treated as an actual human. read more

I want to start off by saying in the end the salon owner/manager did the right thing and gave me all of my money back. I am writing this not naming names. I just want something like this to truly not happen to someone else so please do better research on stylists than I did if you choose to come here! I recently moved to Florida from Missouri. I was in need of a hairstylist so I went on social media to have found who I thought knew was an educated hair stylist. KEEP IN MIND IM GETTING MARRIED IN LESS THAN 4 WEEKS!!! I got my hair done and was questioning if it was as bad as I thought while in the studio. When I got home I couldn't stop staring in the mirror seeing if this was really what it looked like. My whole family told me to immediately contact the stylist. I then reached out to the stylist to see if I could come back and get this fixed because I had dress fittings and Wedding tastings that following week and was embarrassed to leave my house. She then agreed and was very nice about it. When I went back into the studio, I asked to have it more blended than just a straight line as you can see in the picture. When my hair was done and blowdried she then asked me if it was better so I let her know that it was still very choppy. She then proceeds to tell me that she will fix it. I did NOT want my hair to be fixed by one person three times. She then apologized and told me she didn't know why this kept happening.... before I came in my stylist from back in Missouri sent all of the colors and the processing times that she's used on my hair. This Naples stylist had alll the tools and still it came out a mess.. and ORANGE. I now have to fly back to Missouri less than 4 weeks before my wedding since I don't trust anyone to touch my hair before my big day after all of this. Also from when my stylist could get me in around my wedding is right before the holidays. Because of crazy ticket prices are around the holidays I am now missing the holidays with my family all because I need to fix this mess before my wedding. The first picture that has a straight line was $400!! Which is insane for this outcome and my hair has never been this dry in my life!! Although the second picture is kind of more blended on top, it is insanely choppy and orange!! I will also include a photo of what my hair normally looks like. I'm so upset and confused how at this level of working in this salon could do this to someone's hair. A stylist should know if they are able to do something or not to their ability. If at any point you don't think you could give the results the customer is asking for then they should speak up and say they aren't comfortable. Finally flew back to where I recently moved from and went back to my lady that I trust. I personally think she did a great job fixing what had been done to my hair. 3 weeks until my wedding and I finally feel happier to walk outside the house! read more

I cannot recommend this business. The technician was good but the business is disreputable in my opinion. I called for an appointment and asked the cost. When I checked out the cost was $20 more than the price I was quoted. I questioned the cost and was told the prices had just increased. I went back a few weeks later because the technician was good. The price was even higher than the last time and I asked why. I was told again that there had just been an increase in price. This is nonsense. There is no price listing so it seems they just charge whatever they can get. I will not go back and I suggest you don't go either. read more
