His bid was competitive, and he was able to offer suggestions and ideas that we hadn't thought of or didn't know were feasible. The initial timeline was several months out, but Rob remained in contact and was able to move us up on the calendar. The project was completed at the quoted price, plus a couple of scope additions we requested. Work took a little longer than expected, likely due to modifications needed to bring our aging home up to standard, and the perfection of our tile work; Rob does things the right way, and uses great subcontractors. The end result is beautiful. The bathroom remodel was completed so perfectly that we now see flaws in our guest bathroom which was remodeled 3 years ago by a different contractor. Our master suite has transformed from the worst part of our home to our personal sanctuary. I would not hesitate to hire Rob Tol Construction again. In fact, we're already planning to when we're ready to start our next project. As a side note, but important to us, Rob and all of his subs were great with our dogs. so we never had to lock them away during the project.

Rob and his helper were meticulous about checking all the new fittings for leaks and repaired damage from a pre-existing leak from an upstairs bathroom. I've been paying this company to come weekly (even in the dead of Winter when no one is using the pool) because I was sold on "we need be there weekly to stay on top of any issues." That is far from what has been happening -- homeowner should not have troubleshoot water quality issues.
