Pirate Cove is a very cool place where people pull up their boats and hang out all day long. The food is delicious, the salads are yummy, but I love the chicken tenders and french fries. You cannot go wrong with those. They have different options for alcoholic drinks, we chose to get a vodka bucket and it was as fun as it looks! We had some mimosas after the bucket! This is a family friendly place and dogs are also allowed. Looking forward to my next trip back here! Great place to tan, relax, hear great music and see some awesome boats! The boat launch is nice and wide and the lot has a good amount of parking. The bar/restaurant had a very nice and friendly bartender. Other than one person at the bar, it was us as a party of four. We wanted a snack and picked a thai chili flavored chicken fries. It was a very unique appetizer but the flavors worked well! It was sweet, spicy, the pickled onions added a nice layer of flavor and the fries were crisp and hot. I really liked it! I have been to Pirate's Cove before when it was a very busy weekend and packed. In contrast to this particular visit, it was super chill and so relaxing! It was like having the resort to ourselves!

This is a resort style community with mostly newer park models and a handful of full hookup RV sites. Nice and level, easy to get around, lawn area for the dogs, small family beach to swim by the river and a beautiful pool area with three jacuzzis, a game room and communal bbqs. Fortunately things did get straightened out a lot sooner and we had to cancel Colorado River oasis stay, unfortunately -- but they were very understanding and we appreciate that they worked with us. We did have a service charge that we understood was going to happen at the very beginning of our reservation. That seemed fair. We hope we can return and stay with you in the future and would recommend this place for its professionalism and courtesy to us. Thank you.

Not super overwhelming like others had mentioned. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean and very roomy! There was no hair left laying around in the bathroom as previously mentioned in other posts. The water pressure in the shower was great, however the shower head was very low. My husband had to squat just to get wet. The toilet was also very low which was a little weird to me. The room came with an iron, ironing board and a blow dryer. Our end table did have an issue with the drawer, it kept opening but it wasn't a deal breaker!! I just so happened to have tape and that did the trick. The temperature knob in our mini fridge was missing so it took us a while to figure out how to make it cooler. The ac kept the room nice and cool but it was very loud, sounded like it was struggling big time. They had a smart TV, we were able to access netflix, amazin prime and another service (i cant remember) The arcade was decent but was prob better for smaller kids. Our kids still enjoyed it. The family pool was beautiful with plenty of sitting areas. It was about 90 something degrees when we went but the water was too cold for me! The kids and my husband had fun on the slides they had. They don't allow outside food or drinks but they had a little bar/snack shack. We did have to pay an additional 15$ for an extra pool wristband. 4 were given for a double bed room. The private beach was very cute but we didn't really spend any time there unfortunately. The ice machine was working and was a short distance from our room. We got panda express pretty late in the day, the food was a little sad but it was expected. We were located in the central tower, maybe all the terrible reviews werw from different areas of the hotel? Who knows. Oh, there only seemed to be luggage carts for those who were parking in valet, that part kinda sucked. We were also a ahirt distance from a gas station, Mc donalds, Starbucks and a few grocery markets. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and will def be visiting again.

They were friendly, professional, and incredibly fast every time we needed them. They were easily the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was another story. The carpet throughout the room had numerous stains, including what appeared to be a large red stain near the bed. The room felt so dirty that I didn't even want my bare feet touching the floor. We ended up sleeping on top of the blankets because we weren't comfortable enough to sleep in the bedding. The bathroom was in poor condition. The bathtub barely drained, leaving standing water while showering. The bathroom exhaust fan was caked with dust, there was visible mildew or mold-like staining near the toilet plumbing, chipped paint and cracks around the bathroom door frame, and gaps around the shower fixture where it wasn't properly sealed. The cleanliness throughout the room was disappointing. The TV remote was covered in dust, the furniture had a noticeable layer of dust, there was dirt and debris behind the furniture, and even the ice bucket had visible residue inside. Overall, it felt like the room hadn't received a thorough cleaning in quite some time. For what this resort charges, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. The property has a great location and friendly valet staff, but management really needs to invest more in housekeeping and room upkeep. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

The park is quiet enough (though the neighbors heater roared all night) and easy to navigate. The pull-through sites were long enough (62 ft) and with full hook-ups. There was no one at the office. Two women came up on a golf cart-neither wearing masks. I expected them to put one on when they walked inside but they didn't. We gave our information quickly, signed and got out as fast as possible. I don't get how someone who is in contact with many customers would not care about their health and safety-or even state law. I cannot recommend and would not go back to the park.

Upon entering the park, I was told I would have to pay $20 to retrieve my broken boat. I couldn't believe it. I've had to be towed to a launch ramp one time in the past. The compassionate employees at Topock 66 understood my dilemma and let me quickly recover my boat with no charge. I guess they figured I'd already had a bad enough day. No such luck at Needles Marina. So much for common decency. The $20 they made on me that day has lost them the hundreds of dollars I spend there on my two annual trips. Unconscionable.

If you are tired of the screaming kids, drunk loud party animals make your reservations now. Each site is clean with a nicely tree lined park. River front sites available and the rest of the sites are made in steps so you aren't looking at the other coaches butt the entire time your on vacation. You can see the river from all sites. There's a launch, beach, pool, spa, club house and multiple things to do while here. Really glad my sister and I decided to rent the trailer here and spend time with mom and dad in such a relaxing setting. Can't wait to bring husband up with my own rig.
