Full hook up pull through spots (RV "B" area) are NOT close to the river. Partial hook up spots that you back into (RV "A" section) are MUCH closer. The staff are very helpful. We decided to change our reserved spot from the B section to the closer to the river A section and we were so glad we did!! Such a great area and place to hang out for the weekend and enjoy the river! The staff here were all helpful and attentive. They made switching our spots super easy. All we had to do was ask. There's a great dog park, children's play park and spacious areas to picnic. The B section seemed as though there were more people there that lived there on a regular basis the a section were more campers/overnighters. We will be back.

The staff is always pleasant, helpful, and genuinely seems to enjoy their work, which makes the whole process even better. We usually rent a patio boat since it comfortably holds up to 10 people. They're easy to drive, great on gas mileage, and the fuel cost has never been unreasonable. (I'd recommend skipping the prepaid fuel option--it usually works out cheaper that way.) Another perk is that dogs are allowed on the patio boats! Just note that medium and large dogs count toward the passenger total, so it's a good idea to double-check when making your reservation. Two things to keep in mind: (1) During the fall season, all boat rentals need to be returned by 3:00 PM. (2) It costs $25 to get into the park. If you're planning on coming 2 or more times within a year, I'd recommend getting the Park Pass for $45. Overall, Katherine's Landing is a reliable and fun spot for boat rentals, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a great day out on the lake!

Perhaps, Thousand Trails should take a look at it because years ago, this is what they were like. The streets are wide as are the sites. It's easy getting it and out no matter the size of your rig. Many of the sites also have great views of the Laughlin area and the Colorado River. On the weekends you can enjoy breakfast, dinner and planned activities. The food was good and very reasonable in price. Staffing can be a little touchy so do as you're told or the lady in charge will jump on you. We loved this park and will very definitely return.

The manager said, the police just bring problems. Since they were called to deal with a legal matter, the manager instructed the calling party and owner of the RV to leave the park. Her "fiancé" run that park like two bully's, if you call the police apparently. Her fiancé asked for the title to the RV and was shown the registration and sellers note, but pushed it away without looking saying I don't want that it means nothing! When asked for RV Park owner information and RV law codes the manager was using to verbally kick the RV owner out of the park, the manager refused to provide them. If you're law abiding and your intent is to do the right thing, it is of my opinion this would not be the park for you! The manager was so upset with the "rightful" owner of the RV who called the police to have the "squatter" removed yet, allowed a shed to be removed from the property that had been there even prior to the new owner taking ownership and renting to the person who passed away. The manager literally said she had no idea the person renting the RV had this particular relative who showed up to squat when the renter passed away, yet defended and took up a defense for the said "squatter, even after being shown legal paperwork of the rightful RV owner! Even after RV owners name was written on several rent receipts! Unbelievable!
