They use a soft sesame seed bun, which probably is the most unique part of the sandwich. For their marinara sandwiches, I wish they used a thicker bun to better absorb all the sauce. The sesame bun didn't keep its integrity, sadly. The meatball marinara was glorious! Slightly spicy, super moist meatballs, slightly sweet marinara, and perfectly paired with bitterness of the rapini. Don't forget the cheese pull!
