They had from Sept until April to get a permit as our lakehouse is closed during the winter. But nothing, no permit. They said the city wouldn't respond and the city said they didn't contact them. In the spring I decided to get the permit myself. I asked for a refund for the extra we paid for the permit, but they refused since we went through Home Depot. I finally get the permit, the city said it's in the mail and I have a case number and I can go ahead. But these people said no. We need the actual permit. A week later the city emailed it to Tuff and myself and still, they refuse to schedule an appointment for deliver my shed. They still have the shed, we have paid 3/4th of the price. Not sure what I can do. Maybe better business bureau?? This has been a stressful experience and I'd recommend to stay far away from this company.

While I don't remember their names, they worked extremely hard to get the furniture set up and, in a few cases, put together. We have had many deliveries in our lifetime, but these two men were head and shoulders above everyone else who has ever delivered anything for us. He explained their products and affordable pricing, quoting us on both laminates and Hi-Macs (solid surface material like Corian), and explained the process. They were booking about 3 weeks out. We called and scheduled the work thereafter and all went off without a hitch. Craig and team did a great job. The Hi-Macs (we chose marbling pattern) is beautiful. Cannot recommend this business more. They did what they said and exceeded expectations :).

So I returned the next afternoon asking for a refund thinking no problem. I was told they will exchange for the right size now or I can have store credit then lastly I can get my money back but with a 20% restocking fee. Since none of this was my fault I believe my money back shouldn't be a issue but after talking to the owner which is a pos. I had to take the money back minus 20% which was just shy of $50. The employee made a honest mistake i get that but why does the customer have to pay for that not to mention i found the same exact belt for $72 at another store. So they over charge then rob you. Sorry to say this since I have been there on many occasions and it is convenient for me. I went to the paint section for some deck stain and asked the woman at the paint counter if she could mix it to cordovan blend. She asked with great irritation what I was talking about. I said that unless I am mistaken the cans of Cabot deck stain can be mixed for different colors. She walked to the other end of the counter without saying anything and then later said she is busy. So I waited for her to be less busy. While waiting I grabbed a Cabot brochure and opened the page to the color Cordovan. When she came to over I showed her what I was talking about. She did not respond again and a younger man then came over to the counter and said he would take care of me. She then literally and rudely stormed off. I made a comment to the gentleman now waiting on me that I don't know what she is so upset about. He simply put his forefinger to his lips to tell me to be quiet. I said I don't understand that reaction to me and mentioned that as a customer I would think he'd be concerned. He responded, "I don't think I need to 'mansplain' it you" I told him I was was absolutely baffled and that customer service and responsiveness is important to business owners - at least it was in my career. He said if I don't like it there I can always go somewhere else. I again was astounded that he now was suggesting I go elsewhere. In any event, I do now go elsewhere. The convenience of this location is far outweighed by the poor attitudes I encountered.

I was looking for a small marble top for a bar I was refinishing and came across Vallar's while I…read morewas visiting Syracuse, my home town. They had a great selection of slabs and remnants to choose from.  I found what I was looking for and they were able to cut and polish the piece, and hold until the next time I was home to pick it up, which was over a month!  They sealed the marble for me and explained how to care for it. It looks amazing and I couldn't be happier! The staff was very helpful and super friendly; and they had a great selection of tile in addition to their beautiful stone pieces. I'm definitely going to keep then in mind for my next project!
