We ultimately found our stone at another location and they recommended we do the fabrication with Direct Stone. They are very responsive too. I texted a photo of our stone to Chris at Direct Stone and he texted me back the complete price to fabricate the countertop by the foot. Lan came out and measured and was very thorough in explaining the process to us. We also bought a sink from them. Lan also gave us instructions about the garbage disposal button and the type to buy and everything worked out really well. We also visited the site and saw the drawn lines on the stone how it was going to be cut and we really appreciated that opportunity. They are not plumbers or electricians so you have to do that part with another contractor - but we called a plumber to re-hook up the sink and we were good. The day of they showed up on time. We over compensated by moving out of the kitchen and covering everything we could in plastic and we were really glad we did the extra prep. Since the stove opening had to be cut on site and the edges had to be finished on site - there was considerable dust - so be ready for that.
