Compare that to Menards where it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack to get any one that will help you. Besides, Menards stuck it to us during the oil boom and the flood that we had in 2011. They jacked up their prices over 20% higher than any of the other stores in North Dakota at a time when we really needed building supplies. They had rude people that could care less about you. Home Depot has by far the friendliest people willing to help you find what you need. Great job Home Depot!

First pitch military discount (didn't apply but we didn't think it would, despite the best efforts of the salesman). Then the multiple discount offers of spending xx would get you xx off, except it turned out that the pitch ALSO required getting the extended warranty. We were told we hit the minimum for free delivery. Except they changed that too & said it would actually be $39 for delivery & no, you couldn't pick it up at the store (ended up waving that, presumably because I was ready to walk away at that point) Delivery was supposed to include removing packaging and waiting for inspection. The delivery crew acted like they didn't speak English to try to get out of both. This was after being told not to let them leave without unboxing everything because there's a strict (stupid) 48hr return window because EVERYTHING is "special order" (it isn't anywhere else in town, interestingly) Last was the get the credit card pitch with a promise of 18mo interest free. That 18mo was lowered to 12mo at check out, stating the promotionhad changed... mimd you, the billing statement puts it at pay be Dec 2026... soooo, also wrong. All in all, it feels deceitful and I don't think I'll be purchasing the like from here again.

Even when they don't have what you need, they make helpful recommendations. I'm typically in for some kind of hardware. Usually strange parts that I need to replace or improvise something to replace them with. While the store is small, the service is over the top! Give them a shot, they may surprise you.

Was able to get the light and checkout. Like so many Harbor Freight stores the tanning was lacking here. None asked me upon entering of I needed anything. No one greeted me into the store. These are things every store is supposed to do. Manager was on her phone. At check out no one about the ESP or my expired Inside Track Club membership. So much for the district manager file ups on hoods or her store training. I give it a four because the cashier was really nice asked me questions. I have worked for Harbor Freight and know what they are missing.
