5 star? I think so for what it offers; it's basically a stop over for people travelling…read morenorth/south in France who want a really good meal on the way. This is does exceptionally with great a friendly service from when you check in, a decent pool, beautiful grounds ("fairy tail" was the view of my kids as we walked outside to their table for their early dinner) and exceptional food. We had the tasting menu which was fundamentally quite traditonal French but with good introduction of Japenese ingredients and inspired presentation. My second favourite meal of 2012 so far (for the record the favourite is Viajante) and somewhere I would have no hesitation in returning to.
