Offered delivery to Hampton Inn. Calzones were good, just right amount of cheese, nice thin crust. I had the spinach one and would have liked more spinach. My husband said his ham Calpine was OK. The cesar salad had too much dressing, ask for it on the side if you don't like a lot of dressing. We were hungry and tired so it was great that they delivered. Stopped by on a road trip from Savannah. Everything was delicious - fried ravioli, pizza, and a Stromboli. Their marinara is soooo good. Had a decent draft beer selection. Prices were great too (the food mentioned above, plus a 22oz craft beer and solid pour of Pinot Grigio for ~$35 before tip). The 9 year old complained about "too much cheese" on her pineapple pizza. Went to Fernanda's for LUNCH with family. The food was good. There were 5 of us total. Three of us on one bill and two on the other bill. When we it came to paying the bill the waitress brought a credit card machine for us to pay without presenting a receipt that I could look over for correctness. I asked for a copy of the receipt before I was going to pay my bill. The waitress brought me my receipt and when I looked at it, it was wrong. We had been charged for tea when we got water and I then noticed that there was a 20% tip added on the tab. I questioned the 20% and asked for the manager. He came out and stated that because they input a party of 5 in their system that we are automatically charged 20% FOR 5 people. I asked him to take it off because because he was forcing me to pay for something that I had no choice in. He keep saying that the system did it and he could not change it. If we had been a party of eight or more I could see that, but for just 5 people. If you go there ask to see a receipt, but as for me I told him that I would not be back if that is the way he runs his business. read more

Okay...I was expecting a marginal pizza at best...the menu was kind of extensive and didn't know if they were good at any one thing. Hostesses were very polite. The pizza...it's very flavorful, love it. By far not the worst I have ever had. I would definitely eat here again. Coke was not flat either. Reasonable prices...good food. :) read more

Ok now, when it comes to small town's you know it is hard to find authentic anything because chains are the way to go. Well Fernandas is amazing, We were offered the 10" Margarhetia pizza which had spinach, cheese and more cheese and it was super amazing! I ordered the Spinach calzone and it did not disappoint. This is wonderful Italian style brick oven pizza that i thought i could only find in larger cities. We have eaten here a few times and it has never disappointed. read more

A recent road trip took us to Thomson, Ga., on a Saturday night. While going to our motel room, my husband saw a man in the hall carrying a pizza box. "That sounds like a good ides," he said. Rather than go with one of the chains around us, we looked for something local and decided on Fernanda's. I had looked at other reviews and saw the Fugheddaboutit pizza. There were even some pictures, and it looked so good. So, we went to the place and ordered that pizza and a Christopher's Caprese Salad. Sat at the bar and ordered a drink while we waited. The wait staff was getting along so well with each other, laughing a lot and sharing their good moods with all around. After we left, my husband said it was so good to see people happy at work, something you rarely see. Never has having to wait been so fun. Our pizza was ready before we finished our drinks. Our thoughtful server kept it warming until we were ready to go. Nice touch. She also put in paper plates and plastic utensils for us. The pizza was cooked, but we decided we're not that adventurous, after all. It was a little rich for our tastes, but I'm sure others love it.Next time we will get something more traditional. I'm sure we will love it. The salad was superb, a nice combination of sweet, spicy and savory. My husband was too full to try it. He would have loved it. I'm so glad we gave Fernanda's a try. I have only had their pizza but it is amazing. So good. The customer service is outstanding and you get a good amount for you money.

Come here every year when in Mistletoe SP camping. Pizza and Stromboli's is are great and the place is spotlessly clean.

Lunch: The two girls waiting tables are overwhelmed. Had to get my own menu. The bruschetta was simply a sub roll, garlic, sliced tomatoes and cheese. Not a drop of Balsamic, nor were the tomato slices marinated. Very disappointing. I asked if the dinner portion of lasagna is larger than the lunch, being hungry. Reply yes, when I received my plate it was most definitely the lunch portion but charged dinner. Big change from my last visit a year ago won't be coming back. read more

Stayed in Thomson for our Masters visit and Fernanda's was the choice for dinner. And what a great choice it was! First of all, kudos to the management and staff for a professional operation. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. An order of meatballs to whet our appetites was an indication of what was to come. They are outstanding and if you get nothing else, you'll be satisfied. Cheese, sauce and meatballs, individually, excellent -- together, divine. And the pizza? To die for. First of all, this is not Fernando's, like in Harlem and Grovetown... this is Fernanda's (end in an A). However, they are great and have very good italian food and pizza. My wife and I got the pasta dinner for two for around $15, which comes with two salads, a giant bowl of pasta and marinara, as well as a ton of toasted italian bread with butter. Dinner on 9/24/2014. Clean and well lit. Classic pizzeria look with checkerboard floors and red vinyl chairs and booths. Flat screen TVs. Attentive staff kept our soda glasses filled. We were staying at Mistletoe state park for 3 days and we were looking for a nice place for an evening meal. Found Fernanda's online and decided to give them a try. OMG, so glad we did. Excellent Italian pastas. We liked it so much we ate there 3 nights in a row! Spaghetti with marinara and the baked spaghetti were both very good. Also had the chicken parm and it was tender, juicy, and so tasty. The staff was so friendly and the service was excellent. Prices were good and the portions were plentiful. A few of my colleagues were in town for work and decided to give this place a try. We were seated right away. Our server was polite and quick. I went for the classic fettuccine Alfredo. Two ordered the calzone. One ordered another pasta dish that had ham in it. Their calzones were huge and looked amazing. My Alfredo sauce was extremely thick and pretty bland. I just wasn't expecting that. We should have taken it as a sign that our server asked us "do want to leave out the ricotta?" This place LOVES to pile on the ricotta. Great atmosphere and food. Located in small town but has a big city menu with extraordinary food. Must visit when in the area again.

We've eaten here several times and enjoyed it each and every visit. Several TVs on the walls to keep you entertained while you wait for your food. The salads are fresh and my wife especially enjoys the marinara served with the calzones. read more
