i came to hair we are yesterday as a first time client & saw lindsay. my hair was such a disaster…read morenot even red cross would give me coffee. my previous stylist had left me with ugly green ashy hair (long, sad story) & my first thought was to call hair we are & see if lindsay was available (i've known her since baaaaack in the day, elementary school status) because she has such a great reputation in town. i have also seen her work on social media. she was nice enough to squeeze me in as soon as she could. it's okay, what was a few more days wearing my hair tied back? i had been rocking the librarian bun for weeks already. lindsay literally saved my hair-life. she corrected my color & got my hair looking back to normal & healthy. instead of just putting dye over the disaster, she took additional steps to make sure the problem was fixed & would hopefully not come back. i liked how she took her time & was very tedious. she also gave me tips on how to care for my hair since it was getting to the point of being over-processed. i thank her so much for all the help & her price was totally fair. the salon is really cute, i love the color scheme. but more importantly, it's clean & organized. lindsay had mentioned that the salon gets cleaned regularly & i love that. makes for a better salon experience, in my opinion. seems like hair we air is a well oiled machine, which is what is needed for a place with such a high volume of stylists/clients. i've heard great things about other stylists there, too. so if you're not already a client of theirs, i def recommend hair we are. i'm giving my hair a break for a few months, but i'll be back for sure.

She then tells me she doesn't have her appointment book with her on the weekend (which ironically the original appointment was made on a weekend), then she stops responding. ONLY after the salon owner saw the Google review did she send me a text- on September 5. "I was told by the salon owner....." She says that the reason for not getting back to me were family issues. So which is it? Family issues or the client is the problem? Like I said, IT IS ONLY HAIR! No big deal. But treat people right and be honest!

Instantly I noticed this lady wasn't separating my lashes to add a lash extension! It felt like she pushed them on with her finger and she put a tone of glue that all my lashes stuck together in clumps. THEY ALL CAME OFF IN CLUMPS ALONG WITH MY NATURAL LASHES. Please if you care about your lashes dont go here!! My eyes are hurting posted pictures of the day they where done and of the second day.... The salon is spacious and sells clothing, jewelry, and all natural homemade face and body products from Olivia's Heritage, the adjoining spa. My hair is lonh and fine and was previously highlighted and colored, and so coloring it so it looks uniform and the color is even and natural is really tricky. Tina nailed it on her first try, and I love my highlights! She is really skillful at color. Also, she is very nice and humble and makes customers feel welcome and comfortable.
