I purchased a home from him in 2021. The market was going no crazy, people were paying over asking without inspections. This house was a little over budget, and I decided to not do a full inspection because I didn't want to jeopardize a sale. I only had the major things inspected such as plumbing, termites, electrical, and roof. There was a window with a crack that I had not noticed, but Mr. Crosby pointed it out and promised to fix it. Did it take a little while? Sure, but I was not badgering him about it. The window ended up being replaced and all has been well. I can understand how if a tenant in a rental property is without AC they are wanting somebody to answer the phone immediately, but I think Mr. Crosby is at a point in his life with grandchildren that real estate is more of a hobby than a vocation. I cannot speak for renting from Mr. Crosby, but purchasing a home from him was pretty painless.
