Well I had nothing to worry about. All of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and informative. They weren't pushy at all and I walked away feeling very impressed about the car but more importantly about the dealership. We have since bought the car and I love it to bits :) . I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. I probably could have got it for a $100 cheaper at another dealership that I went to ... but I just had to deal with the Ferntree Gully Nissan people who were soooooo much better and more professional.

Unluckily for them, they wouldn't budge on the listed price (not even a dollar), so onto Hyundai it was. I enquired on the price of an i20, and asked if they could match a price I'd seen online, I took it for a spin, price was matched on an in-stock model, my bank paid them on cup day, cleared within a day and bang, just like that I have a brand spanking new (8kms on the clock) metallic grey 3 door i20 5 days later. The service was great from the get go, not too pushy (although there was a lady that did try & sell me on a paint protection & tinting package, and the finance guy was edging towards using their own finance), friendly, answered any questions I had and all contact was in a timely manner. Highly recommend visiting Hyundai and speaking to Riccardo if you're in the market for a new car! I've been jean shopping that was harder than this!
Rang Hyundai Essendon this morning with an issue with my daughter's 2015 i20, 6400kms on the clock…read moreand well within warranty. Power steering has gone on the car and steering locked up. Girl who answered the phone to start with was quite rude and the conversation did not get any better from that point on. I was advised that they would not be able to look at the vehicle until next Thursday (6 days). When it comes to a safety issue on the road -v- a standard service, I would have thought a little more priority would be given to a safety issue. RACV report was obtained and stated 'Power steering FAULTY, LOCKS UP - Drive at OWN RISK'. This is not the first time I have had an issue with the rudeness of staff at Hyundai Essendon but it certainly will be the last. My daughter's last car was purchased from Hyundai Essendon and salesman was great ! Very friendly and not pushy at all. The dramas started with the service department. Disgusted and definitely would not go back. Rang another Hyundai dealership and they were very concerned about the issue and couldn't do enough to help.

Honestly they were great, I was expecting a bit of a run around and potentially be advised to get the expensive tyres, but he asked what I was after and gave me a couple of reasonably priced options. Looks like a family run business that's been going for a generation or two and pride themselves on service and quality. Really happy with my experience and I'll be back in around 10,000KM for the back wheels.

Once again, these guys are great. It was fixed in a timely manner, they're friendly, helpful, honest and well priced. I always tell people this is where to take your car with tyre issues. We usually hire here because the price is decent, but it's definitely worth shopping around as it's not consistently the cheapest. Cars are always in good shape and very clean. Service in the actual centre is incredibly slow and impersonal, so allow another 20-30 mins to get the hire car sorted before hitting the road. Even when giving a pick up time, the cars aren't always ready and sometimes you need to wait for them to be cleaned. 4 stars because I would recommend them over some of the others, but certainly not rave about them or their customer service.

Budget has always been my worldwide choice for cars so I decided to give the a shot here in Australia. I was not disappointed. Budget in Southbank did their job and provided me a great SUV with low mileage and did not penalize me for being a half hour late on the return. Another weekend with budget and I hope to be ready for my own vehicle in the land of 'keep to my left'.
