Would be a 5 but the parking is not it. Very slanted. No exit. You're forced to back out of a slanted parking spot. VERY UNSAFE

SCW and I stayed at Hotel Dello for one night for a little getaway. The front parking entrance for…read morecheck in is kind of hard to find, just off of the main road in Dania Beach. I checked in quickly and given parking passes. It seems you can park in the attached garage or the adjacent city parking lot. Be aware the parking garage in the hotel is very small. I'd say maybe a little more than a dozen cars could park there at once. The room was spacious and clean. However when we were there, and probably one of the few times in the year this happens in south Florida it was a bit chilly. This hotel does not have heat. The only option in the room is ac. That was annoying but I just turned off the system and it was fine. The room had a nice sitting area, TV and a fridge which comes in handy. The bed was nice, but the pillows were very soft. I called and had some more delivered fairly quickly. We were located fairly close to the main road in Dania Beach which proved to be a bit loud from time to time. I'd guess the rooms on the western end would be quieter. The communal areas were clean and tidy and the few interactions we had with the staff were good. Everyone was helpful and kind. There are a few restaurants nearby as well which we took advantage of. The hotel is an easy drive to the Fort Lauderdale airport which was great.

He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and that level of service really stood out. The staff overall was excellent--friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. It's clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in every interaction. The room was spotless, modern, and super comfortable. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, the lighting was great, and everything was sparkling clean. I also appreciated the modern décor and the little touches that made it feel more upscale than expected for an airport hotel. The location is perfect--just minutes from the Fort Lauderdale airport, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. There's also easy parking and a reliable shuttle service (just call ahead to confirm times). The pool area was lovely and relaxing, and I loved the outdoor vibe. The hotel also has a nice little bar and restaurant, The Velvet, which was a great surprise--excellent drinks and friendly staff there, too! For the price, you get amazing value: clean rooms, great amenities, and five-star service without the five-star price tag. If you're flying in or out of Fort Lauderdale or just want a comfortable and well-run place to stay near the beach, this is the spot. I'll definitely stay here again! Again.... Big thanks to Jesus and the rest of the Hotel Dello team for a fantastic stay!

There were some major hits and misses with this hotel though. Here's what I loved: -The amenities: they have free airport shuttle, WiFi, a swimming pool, laundry room, full size refrigerators. -The bar- it's always nice being able to grab a drink in your hotel! The bartender was chatty. He made good drinks and provided great conversations! -The room layout: spacious and accommodating! Perfect for families or people traveling for extended stays! While there is no stove or oven you can get a lot dine with the convection microwave that they have. -Free Breakfast- complimentary breakfast includes a breakfast buffet that has fruit, yogurt, eggs, toast/bagels, and a protein. (The protein is usually a pork option, flagging for those with dietary restrictions!) Here's what needed to be better: -our bedding had yellow stains on them. We took them down to the lobby and when we exchanged them the next two sets we were given also had yellow stains! This is a problem that management needs to look into. No guest should sleep on yellow sheets! -The pool was pretty dirty. There were cigarette buts and other debris floating in the pool. It's peak travel season. The hotel should do a better job keeping the pool clean. -ice: there is no ice machines on site. Your fridge has an ice maker in the freezer. Overall for the convenience and price this hotel could be a good option once the hotel irons out the cleanliness issues that I outlined above.

The hotel is well staffed with someone always available to greet you and take care of any questions. We arrived before check in and they were already able to get us into a room which was such a win after an early morning flight down. The rooms are amazing with a separate sitting area and bedroom area. The wall between has a swivel tv stand, so you can spin it a full 180 around to watch in bed. The bathroom has a huge shower with easy entry and a bench in the back. We didn't use much of the kitchenette, but a full fridge, countertop stove, dishwasher, and microwave would make this a great place to stay! The breakfast is included with lots of hot foods and plenty of pastries and fruit. Unfortunately for our stay, they were having maintenance issues with the close elevator broken down and a horrid smell coming from the hallway in between. The biggest perk though is the proximity to Dania Point. We walked over a few times to enjoy the local restaurants and shopping!

Fitness center was much bigger than I anticipated - and connected with Marriott, so it's the whole building sharing it. Wasn't terribly busy outside of the cardio machines in the early morning. Pool looks really nice as well - also connected to the Marriott on the same level as the fitness center. My schedule and the weather didn't cooperate, so other than it looking nice I can't say much more. Shopping is literally right in front of the hotel, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Lots of choices. I didn't have a car for the week and had a lot of options, but did have to order Target delivery for some grocery and forgotten toiletries. Sweet outdoor but covered terrace on second floor, that was a nice touch. Breakfast buffet is on site but expensive, so be prepared. There is a coffee place on the first floor (in the same building as the hotel, but separate from it) if that's your style. Only real complaint: zero housekeeping for a 4 day stay, even though I requested every 2 days. Good thing I re-used the towels and was staying alone.

Michelle continues to exude professionalism and phenomenal service. Our experience tree was excellent with the best staff you can ever experience in any resort. From bell men Eian and Sergio to exceptional servers Elizabeth and Manny and the amazing Bartender Tim which go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied and happy. The food was incredible and just the beautiful oasis they've created is something special. The music bands were absolutely incredible in the restaurant and also on the boardwalk. The rooms are clean and with amazing views. The location is not too far from home for me which makes it an amazing luxurious staycation. Honestly, I want to return as soon as possible! Thank you. .

House keeping was very timely and kept our room tidy for days. Dinning on the resort expensive especially with kids! Washroom detergent 1.25$ per small box so like one load. Dryers free. Cons: Billing...let's just say you want to check out at the front desk to make sure it's correct. There were some charges we were not aware of that needed attention. I feel like fine print is not on your bill or never mentioned. We had to dispute some things that took forever to correct!. Maybe return but in no rush.
