Unfortunately, my room was not ready until 1:30 PM, which was a bit disappointing. The room itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We dined at the café in the evening and ordered the braised beef and pizza--both were excellent. Breakfast was definitely the highlight of my stay, with great quality and selection. One downside was the internet, which was not very reliable during my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but improved check-in timing and better Wi-Fi would make it even better. read more

Don't ever use their airport park and shuttle option. The entire operation is a clusterfuck. No one knows what's going on. They keep defaulting to "it's a 3rd party" doing the booking. After waiting over a hour for a pickup I had to taxi myself to Le Meridien to get my car. They will flat out lie to you and say a shuttle is on the way? Then play dumb. 0/10. 11/17 I am so glad to have given myself some buffer room given the recent government shut down. It all ended with the government resuming operations with signed funding. Nonetheless, I made use of my 1 night stay in Fort Lauderdale. Location: within proximity of the Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL). Airport shuttle is available (upon request at an airport terminal, and beginning at 5AM every 30 minutes from the property itself). We had a hard time requesting the shuttle service and so opted for (albeit a 10 minute $26 Uber ride) to get to the hotel. Registration: the staff were kind, courteous, and resourceful. We had arrived just past 11AM, with our bags stored away, and went to explore the town while our room is being prepped for arrival. Claim to Fame: Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of Florida. We took a stroll on a Water Taxi across the waterways, as suggested by the hotel staff. The Stay: Le Meridien is known for having minimalistic yet modernly designed hotels, and this was no different. The color palate is pale green, grey, and accented with blue and red. The lobby is spacious and shares the space with a bar, a library themed seating lounge, and a restaurant. The room itself was also spacious with a rustic feel. White walls, mahogany furniture pieces, and a barn door to a well sized bathroom. This is by no means a luxury hotel but provides relaxed comfort. Utilization: we dined at the hotels onsite restaurant for a quick dinner. The menu was simple; salads, soups, burgers, pizza, and beverages. Prices were on the moderate side, but definitely value in portion. I ordered a margarita burrata pizza with a side of French onion soup, while my friend ordered the house burger with fries. We both returned to our room satisfied. We hopped on the hotels complimentary airport shuttle the following morning, which only took a total of 10 minutes. The only downside was that there were no slippers available and neither did the hotel staff knew if the hotel has or provides them. Nonetheless a well rested stay. read more

Most of the people I interacted with were very nice and friendly. My experience at the constellation cafe was stellar and my friends had fabulous dinners at Toro (I didn't eat there myself, but several people raved). I will say that the manager was not as impressive as I'd have hoped for a hotel of this caliber. There were problems with the Internet (it didn't work in the rooms at all) and the televisions were Internet based, so the in room experience was not the greatest (no TV, no iPad, no laptop). Several people had problems and he was very mean to many people (including myself). I was hoping to get some work done during my downtime, but wound up being screen free. ‍ The pool and fitness center were mildly disappointing, but sufficient to basic requirements. My dad was visiting and needed a reasonable priced hotel. This one was in budget. He had a great stay at this hotel! I hung out there and the pool area was definitely a highlight--spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxing whether you're sunbathing or taking a dip. There were plenty of lounge chairs and shady spots, and everything felt calm and inviting. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was also top-notch. Great hotel in a very convenient location. Stayed here one night, pre-cruise, after flying into FLL close to midnight. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the airport and convenient to the highway. Our cruise left from Miami and it was about a 45 minute drive from this hotel. The hotel itself is newer, modern and very well kept. The room was comfortable and clean. Service was friendly and staff were always around maintaining the hotel. Although we didn't eat at it, there is a restaurant on property. If you're planning on bringing a car there is a nightly parking fee. The 12 pm checkout is great and we were even extended to 1pm when I requested a late check out. If you're looking for a nice stay for one night this is a great spot. I will definitely recommend to clients looking for a pre-cruise stay in the future. read more

We stayed at the Le Meridien for the night because it was a five-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, where we were flying out the following morning. I had stayed at the AC Hotel the last time we had to catch an early morning flight, but Le Meridien was situated directly on Griffin Road that is a straight shot to the airport. Being that we hadn't stayed at a Le Meridien yet, I was intrigued to check it out. Check-in was easy and effective, but I wasn't that pleased when I first arrived in front of the sliding door entrance. I wanted to drop off our luggage in the lobby before parking in the lot, which required a room key card. The front door attendants seemed at first thought I didn't have a reservation, then were trying to get me to park in another lot and then bring my luggage over, which fortunately one of them said not to worry about that and move the car a little further away from the front sliding doors and closer to the curve. It was a bit annoying and not as convenient as I would prefer, but outside of that, we managed to get a cart to put our luggage on it to bring to the room once we checked in. Overall, the hotel is nice, featuring a well-appointed bar, dining area, and library-like lounge in the lobby, a pool and cabana area in the rear, and comfortable hotel rooms. Our room was on the ninth floor of the building, where we had a corner room overlooking I-95 South, with Hollywood and Miami in the distance. The king-sized bed was fairly comfortable as was the chaise lounge. The room was stylish decorated with blue-colored walls, a nice desk area, a fridge, closet space, and a modern-styled bathroom. The bar offered some decent cocktails like the Paloma that was well made and presented. I thought the service was a little slow and it wasn't that packed at the bar. Although, it was also attending to drinks for those dining next door so that might have been a factor, and that there was only one bartender I think working the bar with a bar back. Overall, it was a good experience at Le Meridien. Very close distance to the airport and it's reasonable driving distance to downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beach as well as the Hard Rock in the other direction. read more

Gorgeous hotel but the restaurant (Constellation) left a lot to be desired. The french onion soup had a weird flavor (maybe over seasoned with thyme?) and the goat cheese pizza had way too much balsamic so the flavor was over-powering. The hotel room and grounds are beautiful though and staff was friendly enough. I did have to ask a lot of questions though since all they did at check-in was give me a key and tell me too enjoy my stay. Would love to see a small 24/7 convenience store area with some snacks and other convenience items but overall a pleasant stay. read more

Dania Beach FLL is on par with the amenities, cleanliness, and location of other properties but, falls just shy regarding customer experience and hospitality. The front desk staff seem equally confused and bothered by basic questions surrounding guest experience. If hospitality isn't high on your list, then you'll deeply enjoy this property, especially its proximity to the beach, airport, and other main attractions as well as the on-site pool. An unexpected perk: This location seems to be a favorite for the cruise crowd because of the distance to ports (~10 min drive) so, there is almost constant access to ride-share services with a short wait. read more

My office is located right next door. I have many coworkers came and stayed there for business. Not to mention the numerous time I came here for lunch. This review is based on the comments from my coworkers and my personal experiences. It's advertised as a 4-star hotel. From what I hear, the room is clean but it's a bit small. The housekeeping usually does a good job of making the room clean. But the front desk personnel needs more training. For example, one day I walked over to the counter and wished to make a room reservation for my boss for the week after. The response I got was: we can not make Room reservations at the front desk. You need to go online and book it. Really? I am ready here and you can't even do that for me? I have done it in places like Motel 6 before and they are only 2-star hotels. But the food they serve in the restaurant is pretty good. One of my coworkers always order the salmon salad dish because she said it was the best-tasting salmon she had anywhere else. I tended to order different things every time I go and they are usually pretty good. The service staff was always nice and friendly (except at the check-in counter). Do I think it's worthy of 4 stars? Probably not. But it's close to the FLL airport so the location wise it's pretty good. read more

Thai hotel was very interesting based on few things. First I noticed they have advertising of travel and influencers that is outdated and illegal. I know the photographer who's photos where being shown and she told me her contact with Le Meridien hotel finished few years ago and they are not allowed to show her work anymore (hotel lobby on big TV screen). Their internet was very bad and slow, however their lounge was really nice and the girl working there was so welcoming and friendly. The same with front desk. The worst problem was when the next day we started noticing lots of bed bug bites on legs and arms. We didn't pay attention as we thought it's just mosquitoes but it got worst and worst and each morning we had more bites in the same places. After few days I googled it and looked exactly like bed bugs. We talked to the housekeeping manager who said they did an inspection but refused to send and show the "negative" report but she did offer a compensation. I spent one night at the Le Meridien hotel as a pre-cruise night. I didn't arrive until later in the evening and we were starving so luckily they have a free airport shuttle and a great restaurant. The hotel had been totally renovated from a Sheraton to make the Le Meridien and was beautiful. Check in was quick and my room looked great. Pretty spacious and a very comfortable bed. I did walk outside to see the pool and it was very pretty out there. It benefitted as having mature trees and was very spacious. In room features excellent espresso machine which I really liked. My son took advantage of the in hotel work out area too. They do offer paid transport to the port but I opted for Lyft. Checkout was quick and easy too. I also got breakfast at the buffet which is extra here but well worth it. read more

Great hotel on Dania Beach near the cruise terminal and FLL airport. Huge and very nice lobby with a bar and restaurant access. Rooms are spacious and bright. Lounge was big, but not much seating with tables if you are there to work or eat. They even have full sized Snickers bars! read more

Everyone from the bellman, to David at registration, through the Catering team, conference team and especially Nadia at the bar, were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the airport and there's a free shuttle which is great. The hotel lobby is big clean and modern, the bar was good. We liked Toro, the restaurant in the hotel. We had 3 rooms and were there from Thurs-Mon. Our complaint would be that they didn't come to clean our rooms. We had to go downstairs and ask for towels every other day. We were told to have to request for our rooms to be cleaned 24 hrs in advance, which we did, but it didn't happen till Sun. We were totally out of toilet paper and I called to ask for some and they said it'll be right up, 45 mins later I called again and mentioned that I had already called, but she tells me she's been there all morning and hasn't had any calls. They charge $1,000 for accidental fee per room. Which is insane, we stayed at much nicer hotels and the fee was never that high. We called front desk to ask if we can use 2 cards to pay for the room, they thought one of our rooms checked out a day early so they went ahead to charge the card. It's was their mistake- but they ended up charging us an extra day when they found out we were there. It baffles me how they're so quick to charge when everything was their fault. Luckily it was on an AMX card- imagine if someone didn't have the money and there was a $2,200 hold on your card. read more

I had a really great experience at Le Meridien Dania Beach. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and very accommodating. From the valet to the front desk staff, they were top notch. The room was very nice, with an awesome view of the Fort Lauderdale Airport. My husband and I love watching airplanes take off and land. My only complaint was not being told the price for a shuttle to the cruise port was not charged to my room; rather, the shuttle driver accepted only cash when we arrived at the port. I could have asked some follow-up questions, though. Overall, I would definitely stay here again! read more

We stayed here for a quick weekend trip. Being a conference hotel, it was not very busy during the weekend, which was nice. The lobby was spacious and very modern. The rest of the hotel was clean, modern and very spacious; including our room. All staff, from the front desk to bartender, were extremely helpful. The coffee bar was not open the entire time we were there, but getting coffee from the lobby bar was not a problem. We utilized the shuttle back to the airport and it was fast; less than 10 minutes. read more

Went there for a meeting and decided to stop by the bar afterwards for a meal and a drink closer to 4pm. The bar probably holds about 10 seats maximum but there are seats and tables on the right in a different section of the bar that they had waitresses attended to or the bartender if it was slower. The place looked great, modern deco. The bar faces the pool area which I'm usually a fan of a more centered bar so you can see the lobby or where ever else. The bartender was very personable, made small conversations and good recommendations of things to try. I had the garlic shrimp which was delicious as it came on a bed of roasted potatoes. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the shrimp was succulent and not overpowering wit garlic. I would say a perfect blend of lime and garlic. They don't cheat you on the size and the amount of shrimps given as some places do if you know what I mean. My friend had a blackened salmon salad which I was told was excellent as well. If you are in the hotel definitely try the food here and the service was really good. Plates would range up to $30 for entrees. read more

The rooms are nice, however, the police presence made me feel that it is an unsafe hotel. On the second day, the police wouldn't let me go to the elevator without a wrist band, due to people accessing rooms. In addition, I wanted to workout, as the exercise and yoga room is on the website, but it was being used for a private event and unaccessible. This is unacceptable!
