Waste of money. Absolute waste money…read more I have FIVE HANDBAGS that were on life support. I finally decided to do something about them and I contacted Luxury Bags & Leather Repair. I left a message and I got a text response and went on to have a text conversation about what I needed. I sent photos of the bags and then I was called to further discuss what I was looking for. I wanted restoration and cleaning. I wanted my bags to look new adjacent. The man I spoke to on the phone was very nice and quoted me for each bag. I then brought them into him, however, I was greeted by some random person who took my bags and gave me a slip of paper. When I left the building, I had convinced myself that I'd probably never see my bags again! I was told to call the number on the slip of paper that was given to me on Saturday and when I did, no one picked up. I tried the following day. About 2/3 weeks went by and I texted the number that I was originally in contact with and I got a response, and then finally I got in contact with someone over the phone who told me when my bags would be ready. I went to pick them up and everything just felt so sketchy. My bags were given to me in individual shopping bags and then the person who gave them to me just sort of disappeared. I briefly looked them over but clearly not good enough because now back at home, really looking at them, I'm very disappointed and I feel like I wasted so much money for nothing. My bags may have been "restored and cleaned" to a degree, but they still look terrible, and the leather looks sad. I almost want to just throw the bags away at this point. Super bummed about my experience here. So much so that I warn all of you to proceed with caution.

Since I had the day off, I decided to come in with my boyfriend. The shop is just as I remembered--filled with lots of great pieces. They have an assortment of price ranges, which is great, and everything is good to excellent quality! Jose, the lovely salesman who assisted us, was fantastic! He was so kind, personable, and helpful. He even measured my head so I would know what my size was (surprisingly, I had never done it myself), and used a hook to bring down the options I was looking at. Some I found to be a little out of my desired price range, so when I humbly informed him of this, he politely guided us over to other options that were more in my budget. I ended up leaving with the perfect first hat for me. Jose told me that if I come back with my receipt, on weekends, they have a man who comes in to shape the hats to your desired shape based on the chart provided, and do a cleaning too, complimentary for first(?) purchases. They definitely have them, but I have to get there right after their weekly delivery, because apparently there is a small lady who comes in and grabs the great petite items each week. If a shoe doesn't look great on you, or they think it might hurt your particular feet after a while, they'll tell you! High arches? Flat feet? Everyone wears shoes differently. And I don't know about you, but when I'm spending that much money on a shoe, I like honesty. But if you tell them what you're looking for, they'll help you find it--and if it's not available at that time, they'll still remember your preferences for future reference.
